General Middle East War -

Tripping Point

There comes a point in the build-up to war, when events have progressed to a certain point - the tripping point - that war will happen soon regardless of which side fires the first shot. They will lie about who fired the 'first shot' regardless. It appears that the Middle East has reached the Tripping Point for a massive regional war.

The near coup (providing that yesterday's Debka report is factual or close to factual) that almost happened last night/this morning in Damascus by a bought-off Syrian Armored Division commander was to have been a coup d'etal followed by a coup de main. A drive to the center of Damascus by 300 tanks, the taking of key government buildings, and the announcement of same at the UN Security Council, with a quick follow-on of "rebel" forces in Turkey supported by Turkish forces and US/NATO/GCC commandos to finish the job.

That this would certainly have triggered the launching of Syrian/Iranian/Hezbollah missiles in vast numbers against Israel and GCC nations and US and NATO bases in the Middle East and the counter-response to same does not seem to have been a matter of serious concern for the plotters.

A truly massive military build-up in the Middle East, unequaled to anything save for those on the eve of the First Gulf War and the Iraq War, has been taking place for some time now. This multinational movement of enormous land/sea/air assets can only mean one thing - a massive regional war is about to unfold in the Middle East that will overshadow anything before it in history.

That all of this comes at a time when the EU economy is crashing and the entire world's financial and economic systems are close to the abyss is not an accident. Nor is it an accident that in so very many nations, there is a growing police state type of fascism, often coupled with austerity fascism. Further, the latest international treaty on the Internet (which the US Senate has not approved as the US Constitution requires; but Obama intends to enforce via a extra-legal Executive Order) will allow for the effective closure of Internet based alternative news media sites when the powers that be decide to.

The Global Banking Cartel families have invested a massive effort over the last several years setting up a total global economic collapse. This is part of their drive to establish a new global system of governance and the financial/economic systems to go along with it, which they call the New World Order (NWO). It has not been a secret that many want both a new World War to help reorganize things for their NWO and to dramatically reduce the human population base.

Certainly 21st Century warfare will "reduce" the current population base of 7 billion souls. In fact, the real and very grave danger is that the combination of the three main types of global strategic warfare, thermonuclear, advanced biological, and scalar will be so effective at population reduction that all higher forms of life on the planet will be at danger.

In fact, the amazing thing about the unfolding events in the Middle East is that the globalist side (which includes the extremist Netanyahu government) is determined to begin a terrible regional war in the full knowledge that there are not only weapons of mass destruction on all sides but that the Iranians clearly possess an effective MAD (mutually assured destruction) counter-force against not only Israel and their other enemies in the Middle East but also have a unstoppable MAD against the North American and European homelands and population of their NATO enemy. This is based on the advanced biowar program that they effectively purchased from the collapsing Soviet Union 20+ years ago, by hiring a large number of the out-of-work ex-Soviet biowar scientists.

Just as there is no real effective protection for the Israeli population from the 60,000 rockets and guided missiles in southern Lebanon that Iran and Syria have provided to Hezbollah, nor the many tens of thousands of Syrian and Iranian based guided missiles with their precision targeted fuel-air warheads (and chemical and radiological warheads), there is also no real effective protection for the North American and European population from the genetically engineered recombination DNA based viruses that can be spread by in-place bio-terrorists, once war breaks out.

The Middle East is looking at unheard of civilian deaths from a combination of nuclear, fuel-air, chemical and radiological warheads. In many nations, on both sides, there will not be sufficient people alive left to bury the dead.

Europe and North America are looking at a third or more of their civilian populations dying from one of the many dozens of new man-engineered killer viruses. The only effective defense is self-quarantine, however, few people have the necessary months of food/water/household supplies necessary to maintain such a self-quarantine.

When I look at what is being played out, and the utter illogical nature of fighting a enemy that possess a true MAD counter-force I can only assume that the 'players' are insane or driven by a virtually demonic force. There will be no winners from the Third World War. As the late President Kennedy said, "the victors will have ashes in their mouths".

US sending another super-carrier to Persian Gulf to permanently boost level to 3 US super-carrier battle groups ~ link ~ link ~ However, it appears that the true number will be 4 super-carrier battle groups counting the USS Enterprise battle group, perhaps augmented by another one (super-carrier number 5) from the Pacific and perhaps by yet another one (super-carrier number 6) in the Mediterranean Sea. Additionally, there are several assault carriers (Harrier jump jets and helicopters and landing craft) and several other assault ships with thousands of US Marines aboard. The French have their nuclear carrier battle group there with British Royal Navy warships as well. There are 15,000 US troops just moved into Kuwait and up to 100,000 US troops moving to two islands near Iran. This is insanity in action! We are on the verge of a General Middle East War with weapons of mass destruction, including Iranian Advanced Biological Warfare weapons that can kill a third or so of the North American and European populations in a month or so! For months now we have been following US naval developments and deployments in the Arabian Sea, which serve one purpose and one purpose only - to demonstrate US military strength in the Straits of Hormuz region and to keep Iranian 'offensive passions' subdued. Yet never has the US had a total of three aircraft carrier groups in the vicinity, always topping out at 2 in the Bahrain-based Fifth Fleet, most recently these being the CVN-70 Vinson and CVN 72 Lincoln, with a third boat present merely until a rotation in or out of the theater of operations was complete. That is about to change, and with it the prevailing price of Brent, which we are confident is about to take a new step wise price higher as the US makes it all too clear what the endgame is, because as Naval Today reports, the "US navy to deploy third carrier group to Persian Gulf", probably the CVN-77 George H.W. Bush which departed Norfolk two weeks ago according to the most recent naval update, or any other Norfolk-stationed aircraft carrier: there is a wide selection to chose from.

The Early Stages of the General Middle East War have already begun with the foreign based military operations against Syria and the Oil Embargo against Iran and other related embargoes against both Syria and Iran. When and how this will continue to expend, including into an all-out military-style engagement involving weapons of mass destruction, is something that time will tell. We can, however, be sure that the engagement is 'on' and will continue to expand in the days/weeks/months ahead.

In what can easily be described as a Soviet-style law, Michigan’s Emergency Financial Management Law which was passed in March, 2011, essentially gives the Governor the authority to take over local governments and municipalities and appoint his own directors in place of elected leaders.

Yet, although individuals who have researched the controlling factors which determine the policies of Federal, State, and Local governments will not be surprised at all, those who naively believe in political parties and carefully crafted political philosophies might be surprised to discover that this Communist-style bill was passed under reactionary Republican Governor Rick Snyder, not a liberal Democrat.

In reality, this only further proves the fact that there is no difference between the two major political parties in the United States, or anywhere else for that matter. Many Republicans, no doubt, supported this trend toward authoritarianism out of loyalty to party and out of hatred for the liberals whom they view as having caused the budgetary issues of Michigan and its cities. Obviously, had the legislation been signed by a Democratic governor, the reaction would have been exactly the same on the part of the Democrats, with only the names of the players and parties in need of changing.

ACTA = Global Internet Censorship - Now even foreign governments will be able to have your website shut down ~ link ~ Global Internet censorship is here. SOPA and PIPA have been stopped (at least for now) in the United States, but a treaty known as ACTA (the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement) is far worse than either of them. ACTA was quietly signed by Barack Obama back on October 1st, 2011 and most Americans have never even heard of it. But it could mean the end of the Internet as we know it. This new treaty gives foreign governments and copyright owners incredibly broad powers. If you are alleged to have violated a copyright, your website can be shut down without a trial and police may even show up at your door to take you to prison. It doesn't even have to be someone in the United States that is accusing you. It could just be a foreign government or a copyright owner halfway across the world that alleges that you have violated a copyright. It doesn't matter. So far, the U.S., the EU and seven other nations have signed on to ACTA, and the number of participants is expected to continue to grow. The "powers that be" are obsessed with getting Internet censorship one way or another. The open and free Internet that you and I have been enjoying for all these years is about to change, and not for the better.

So how come the U.S. Senate never voted on ACTA? Doesn't the U.S. Constitution mandate that all treaties must be approved by a two-thirds vote in the Senate?

Of course it does.

But Barack Obama has gotten around this by calling ACTA an "executive agreement", which is a load of crap.

Unfortunately, this is the kind of nonsense we are getting out of Obama on a regular basis now. He has shown endless disdain for the U.S. Constitution.

Some members of Congress are expressing deep alarm over ACTA. For example, U.S. Representative Darrell Issa is calling ACTA "more dangerous than SOPA".

There are some members of Congress that are even demanding that ACTA be submitted to the U.S. Senate for a vote. Unfortunately, their voices are very few so far, and ACTA is getting next to no coverage in the mainstream media.

Some people out there want to blame the poor for the statistics that you are about to read, but that is a mistake. Yes, there are a lot of people out there that are abusing the system, and that needs to be stopped.

But many Americans that are dependent on the government are in that situation because there simply are not enough jobs in this country.

And unfortunately, the Obama administration and the U.S. Congress continue to pursue the same job-killing policies that have gotten us into this mess in the first place. So millions of Americans that have learned to survive as government dependents are not being given the opportunity to break out of that cycle. When there is a shortage of decent jobs, it is easy to give up. Many tend to become more and more comfortable being dependent on the government as time goes by.

An economic nightmare is descending on Europe. With each passing month, the economic numbers across Europe get even worse. At this point it is becoming extremely difficult for anyone to deny that Europe is plunging into a full-blown economic depression. In fact, some parts of Europe are already there. In Spain the overall unemployment rate is over 22 percent, and in Greece one out of every five retail establishments has already been closed down. All over Europe, economic activity is rapidly slowing down, unemployment is skyrocketing and bad debts are unraveling. It isn't even going to take a default by a nation such as Greece or a collapse of the euro to push Europe into an economic depression. All Europe has to do is to stay on the exact path that it is on right now and it will get there. Normally, European governments would respond to an economic slowdown by increasing government spending. But this time most of them are already drowning in debt. Instead of increasing government spending, most governments in Europe are actually cutting back. All over Europe, national governments are being encouraged to implement even more tax increases and even more budget cuts. The hope is that all of this austerity will help solve the nightmarish sovereign debt crisis that Europe is facing. But unfortunately, all of these tax increases and budget cuts are also going to involve a tremendous amount of economic pain.

The frightening thing is that we are just at the beginning of the process for most European nations. If you want to see where nations such as Portugal, Italy and Spain are headed, just take a look at Greece. Greece has been going down this road for several years, and there is still no light at the end of the tunnel for them.

The tax increases and budget cuts that are being implemented right now in Europe will be felt for years to come. The tremendous economic prosperity that was fueled by unprecedented amounts of debt will now give way to tremendous economic suffering.

Earlier on Sunday, authorities had said that the arrest figure was between 200 and 300. But the Oakland emergency operations center said in a statement that revised that up to more than 400, and said that Oakland Police were expected to announce a more precise number later on Sunday.

These past several months have witnessed something very different in the U.S. People from many different walks of life came together to occupy public space in nearly 1,000 cities in the U.S. They stood up to vicious police violence, they broke through the confines of “protest as usual,” and in the middle of all that, they built community. Even in the face of media attempts to ridicule, distort, and demonize these protests, their basic message began to get through. People throughout the U.S.—and even the world—took notice of and took heart from these brave and creative protesters.

The political terms of discourse began to shift; the iced-over thinking of people in the U.S. began to thaw. Standing up to the unjust brutality and arrests became a badge of honor. People began to listen to and read the stories of some of the victims of this economic crisis, and to share their own. And most of all, as the protests spread to city after city, the fact of people occupying public space forced open debate and raised big questions among millions as to what kind of society this is, and what it should be. Why does such poverty and need exist in the face of a relative handful of people amassing obscene amounts of wealth? Why do the political institutions of society seem only to serve that handful? Why do so many youth feel they face such a bleak future? Why does the insane destruction of the environment continue to accelerate? And what is needed to overcome all this?

Those who actually wield power in this country regarded these protests, and these questions, as dangerous, and reacted accordingly. Time and again those who wield power violated their own laws and ordered police to pepper spray, beat with clubs, and shoot tear gas canisters at the heads of people who were doing nothing more than non-violently expressing their dissent and seeking community. This reached a peak in the recent coordinated and systematic attacks of the past few weeks against all the major occupations. In fact, the mayor of Oakland admitted on BBC to being part of conference calls that coordinated national strategy against the occupiers. On top of all that, and in another blatant show of illegitimate force and power, they attempted to prevent journalists and photographers from covering these acts of repression—unless they were “embedded” with the police.

To put the matter bluntly, but truly: the state planned and unleashed naked and systematic violence and repression against people attempting to exercise rights that are supposed to be legally guaranteed. This response by those who wield power in this society is utterly shameful from a moral standpoint, and thoroughly illegitimate from a legal and political one.

Now this movement faces a true crossroads. Will it be dispersed, driven into the margins, or co-opted? Or will it come back stronger? This question now poses itself, extremely sharply.

One thing is clear already: if this illegitimate wave of repression is allowed to stand… if the powers-that-be succeed in suppressing or marginalizing this new movement… if people are once again “penned in”—both literally and symbolically—things will be much worse. THIS SUPPRESSION MUST BE MASSIVELY OPPOSED, AND DEFEATED.

On the other hand, this too is true: movements grow, and can only grow, by answering repression with even greater and more powerful mobilization.

The need to act is urgent.

As a first step in the necessary response, there must be a massive political mobilization on a day, or days, very soon to say NO! to this attempt to suppress thought and expression with brutality and violence. This mobilization should most of all be in New York, where this movement started… but it should at the same time be powerfully echoed all around the country and yes, around the world. This is a call for massive demonstrations—soon—carried out in public spaces where they can have maximum impact and exposure and where the authorities cannot pen in, suppress, and otherwise attempt to marginalize these demonstrations.

These demonstrations must be large enough to show clearly that people will not tolerate that which is intolerable… that people will not adjust to that which is so manifestly unjust. Such demonstrations, along with the efforts to reach out and build them, can draw many more people from passive sympathy into active support and can awaken and inspire even millions more who have not yet been reached. Such demonstrations can powerfully answer the attempt by “the 1%” to crush and/or derail this broad movement. Thousands and thousands in the streets, acting together, can seize new initiative and change the whole political equation. The urgent questions raised by Occupy—and other urgent questions that have yet to be raised in this movement—can once more reverberate, and more powerfully than before.

The repression of the Occupy movement must not stand. Act.
