  On this day, late on Christmas Eve, four university students broke into Westminster Abbey and stole the Stone of Destiny (Jacob's Pillow from the Bible) and removed it (early on Christmas Day), eventually taking it back to Scotland (where it is also called the Stone of Scone).  I was born as they were breaking into the Abbey on the other side of the Atlantic, 66 years ago today.  Tim Earl of Stirling
