UK Foreign Secretary criticized over plans to send troops to Libya ~ link

In today's world, the lies always come before the wars, almost as night follows day.

The Syrians are winning against the head choppers, that is clear. Since Russia stepped in to assist Assad’s forces we have seen a string of successful offensives that have retaken large areas including key locations such as Palmyra.

However, the conflict in Syria isn’t the entire war, it is merely one theatre in a much wider-spread fight against the Turkish-Saudi-Israeli-Zionist-Neocon criminal cabal (we need to come up with a name for this bunch that’s easier to type!). The conflicts in Ukraine, Nagorno-Karabakh, Yemen, Libya and various places across Africa are all theatres of this war. Think of it like a game of ‘Whack-a-Mole ‘ where as soon as one is dealt with, another rears it’s head somewhere else.

US Secretary of State Kerry: Shooting down Russian jets 'would have been justified' ~ link ~ These nutty evil globalists/Zionists just can't wait to jump start World War III.  What a jerk!  At the most, the USS Donald Cook could have fired a star shell nearby as a warning, but to actually shot down two Russian warplanes for flying too close to one of our warships ... NUTS!!!  Stirling

The US military would have been within its rights to shoot down Russian aircraft that flew close to one of its warships in the Baltic Sea, Secretary of State John Kerry says.

Greek Armed Forces on Combat Alert in Response to Provocations from Turkey ~ link ~ I doubt that much will come from this but the Turks are getting into everyone's face lately, and there is no love lost between these two ancient enemies!  Stirling

This attitude has very deep historical roots. The Ottoman Turks ruled over Greece for almost four centuries and the Greeks only won their independence as recently as 1829. Since then, the two countries have fought several wars, most notably from 1919 to 1922 which was a particularly cruel and brutal conflict that saw large scale abuses of human rights including ethnic cleansing and genocide.

Entire remaining 2016 candidate field descends on New York ~ link ~ Lucky New York.  Stirling

Front-runners Clinton and Trump hope New York's April 19 primaries can propel them past stubborn challengers and into the general election. Preference polls show Clinton and Trump leading their respective contests.

Sanders, a Vermont senator who was born in Brooklyn, has been touting his local roots as he seeks to upset Clinton in New York. While he is on a winning streak in primaries and caucuses, he needs a big victory in the state to cut into Clinton's delegate lead and slow her march to the nomination.

UK Tory MP breaks ranks and Opposes TTIP ~ link ~ God bless him!!!  Stirling

It’s as if, say, during the Republican Administration of US President George Herbert Walker Bush, the person who had negotiated international trade deals for the prior President, the Republican Ronald Reagan, came out publicly against a mega-‘trade’ deal that his fellow-Party-member, President Bush, was ardently trying to get approved. That is extremely breaking ranks, and it happened on Sunday in the UK.

Britain’s former Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1990-92, under Margaret Thatcher and John Major), and current Conservative MP (Member of Parliament), Peter Liley, did it when he blogged on April 3rd at the Conservative Party’s website «Conservative Home»:

Donald Trump highlights protest march in Colorado ~ link

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump late Wednesday highlighted a "big protest march" in Colorado on Friday after he was shut out of delegates in the state.

Trump fired off several tweets, claiming that "over one million people have been precluded from voting" and that party rules were designed to hurt his campaign.

Sanders had large crowd last night in NYC ~ link ~ Bernie's big problem is that he is a socialist and neo-communist and that is NOT good for America!!!  Stirling

Bernie Sanders had a massive crowd tonight in New York City. The campaign for the 74-year-old socialist from Vermont claims 27,000 came out tonight for the event.

"Thank you to the more than 27,000 New Yorkers who came out tonight to join our political revolution. Unbelievable," Sanders wrote on Twitter.

Sanders and Clinton debate tonight as tensions rise ~ link

Democratic presidential hopefuls Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will face off in their final debate before the crucial New York primary.

Mr Sanders has repeatedly criticised Mrs Clinton for her and her supporters' financial ties to Wall Street and the fossil fuel industry.

MSM: Why is it covering up Recessionary Data? ~ link

The retail sales figures have been propped up by the issuance of subprime auto loans to deadbeats, 7 year 0% interest loans to good credit customers, and an all-time high in leases (aka 3 year rentals). Despite this Fed induced auto loan scheme, retail sales have still been pitiful, as the average American has been left with stagnant wages, 0% interest on their minuscule savings, surging rent and home prices, and drastic increases in their healthcare costs due to Obamacare.

The retail sales for March, reported this morning, were disastrous and further confirmed a myriad of other economic indicators that the country is in recession. GDP for the first quarter will be negative. And this time they can’t blame it on snow in the winter. They have already doubly seasonally adjusted the figures, and they will still be negative. Retail sales in the first quarter were atrocious. It might make a critical thinking person question the establishment storyline of solid job growth being peddled by politicians and their MSM mouthpieces. If people had good paying jobs, they would be spending money.
