Russia sends warplanes to Armenia airbase near Turkey ~ link ~ Yesterday I carried an article saying that the Russians have clearly warned Turkey and Saudi Arabia that any invasion of Syria will result in Russia using tactical nukes against them!!!  Stirling

The Russian Defense Ministry said Saturday that Moscow has deployed several fighter jets and a transport helicopter to Russia’s airbase in Armenia near the border with Turkey. Four fourth-generation Mikoyan MiG-29 aircraft and a number of modernized MiG-29S bombers and a Mil Mi-8MT helicopter have been sent to the base.

Located at Erebuni airport outside the capital, Yerevan, the Russian base already has nine fourth-generation MiG-29 planes capable of carrying a payload of up to 4,000 kilograms of weapons. The aircraft also have larger fuel tanks.

The Armenian capital is located about 40 kilometers (25 miles) from Armenia's border with Turkey.

The announcement came a day after a Russian draft resolution that called for an immediate end to Turkey's shelling and military actions against Syria was turned down at the United Nations Security Council.
Furious Turkey: USA acting as an enemy ~ link

As you might have noticed, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is about to lose his mind with the situation in Syria.

To be sure, the effort to usurp the Bashar al-Assad government wasn’t exactly going as planned in the first place. Regime change always takes time, but the conflict in Syria was dragging into its fifth year by the time the Russians got directly involved and although it did indeed look as though the SAA was on the verge of defeat, the future of the rebellion was far from certain.

NATO warns Turkey that it cannot count on support in a War with Russia that it starts ~ link

European diplomats have warned the Turkish government that it cannot count on the NATO support should the conflict with Russia escalate into an armed conflict, according to German media.

Ankara has called for a joint ground operation in Syria with its international allies, insisting it is the only way to stop the country's five-year war. Saudi Arabia has said it would be ready to take part in an international force to be deployed in Syria.

Turkey is losing the whole game in Syria ~ link
We know very well that the leadership in Turkey now is out of their mind because of the recent developments on ground. We know very well that on the battlefield the Syrian army with the support of the Russian air forces and with the support of the Iranians, Hezbollah, many other forces in Syria, proper actually, they were able to defeat the Takfiri groups that are being supported by Turkey. They have been able to liberate and to set free so many different territories in the area and this is a very sensitive area. We know very well from the very beginning that the Turks have ambitions on the Syrian territories. We know very well that they use the alibi of the Kurds there in order to interfere and intervene and carry military offensive inside the Syrian borders.
After the recent defeats which are very strategic in their nature, the Turks have felt that they are losing the whole game, that is why they wanted to do anything possible in order to blackmail the international community, in order to try to save their face after the defeats and in order to try to solidify the Takfiri groups that are being supported and where the arms being funneled from Turkey.

Turkish threats set the stage for an invasion of Syria ~ link

The Turkish government is escalating its accusations that Syrian Kurdish forces carried out Wednesday’s terror bombing in Ankara, which left 28 people dead, including 20 high ranking soldiers, and 61 wounded. These charges are being made in order to pave the way for a Turkish ground invasion of Syria and a clash with Syrian, Kurdish and Russian forces there.

Both Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu have denounced the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the Syrian government, vowing to retaliate. Fourteen people in seven provinces had been detained in connection with the attack.

Will the US War Party authorize a Turkish - Saudi Invasion of Syria? ~ link

Turkey and Saudi Arabia's invasion of Syria may ignite a greater war that could lure Russia and NATO into direct confrontation; meanwhile, Washington's powerful war party opposes US Secretary of State John Kerry's diplomatic approach towards the Syrian crisis, fanning the flames of enmity with Russia, Professor Stephen F. Cohen notes.

America launches airstrikes against Libya ~ link ~ The West killed Qaddafi, who while a bit nutty, was still the best Arab leader on Earth and did great good for his people.  His big "sin" was backing the Gold Dinar and the Khazarian Mafia could not accept that!!!  Now Libya is a total disasterStirling

Nevada Caucus and South Carolina Primary today ~ link ~ link ~

The Democrats: Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will go head-to-head on the Nevada caucus. Nevada is the first state in the West to host a caucus in the 2016 presidential race. The Republicans: Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Bush, Kasich, and Carson will face-off in the South Carolina primary.

Then, next week the parties swap states, with the Republicans in Nevada Tuesday, and the Democrats in South Carolina Saturday.
Bernie Sanders: A Democratic Socialist or an Out-and-out Communist? ~ link

Democratic front-runner Bernie Sanders says concerns about his honeymoon trip to the USSR in the ’80s are “silly.” He’ll have a harder time explaining his months-long stay at a hardcore Stalinist camp in the ’60s.

It’s clear the self-avowed socialist is even further left than he has admitted. Fifty years ago, during the height of the Cold War, he sought out communist indoctrination. The Israeli press earlier this month broke the story that Sanders, who is Jewish, spent several months at an Israeli commune co-founded by a Soviet spy. The revelation is just now wending its way through the American media, where it’s been confirmed by none other than the New York Times, though the pro-Democrat paper predictably buried the story on its back pages.
