Some say that future historians will cite this current period of the War on Terror as the beginning of World War III. Did WW II begin on September 1, 1939 or did it really begin with the Japanese invasion of Manchuria on September 18, 1931 or the Rape of Nanking which began on December 13, 1937?
Borders are being closed and major European Union (EU) treaties are being discarded as tens of thousands of migrants swarm across Europe, overwhelming national police forces in their wake.Nations on the conveyor belt across Europe, from Serbia to Hungary, Austria, on through Germany and up to Sweden by way of Denmark have been recording record numbers of immigrants crossing their borders, all but unimpeded, over the past week. Just this morning EU member Hungary reported a new record, with 3,321 heading from Serbia – a non EU member – in the past 24 hours. The United Nations refugee agency estimates the week’s figure for ingress to Hungary along will top 42,000, almost as many as the whole of August.
Cameron's comment comes despite the fact that he lost a parliamentary vote in August 2013 for approval to launch air strikes at the Assad regime. Moreover, the statement follows rising concerns over the country's recent drone assassination of its own citizens, secret participation of its pilots in air strikes within Syria, and bombing of targets within Iraq.
Zoubi’s remarks come as Europe is facing the biggest refugee crisis in decades, with thousands of asylum seekers, many of them fleeing the violence in the areas hit by the Daesh militancy, trying to reach the western countries in the continent.

Anti-Submarine Operations in the Indian Ocean ~ link ~
Significantly, Chinese maritime planners have been raising the complexity of the undersea missions. The Yuan-class deployment at Karachi signaled an improvement over the visit to Colombo, where the Song-class submarine needed the reassuring presence of a support vessel. Employing the Yuan-335-class – equipped with air-independent propulsion (AIP) and increased under-sea endurance – in latter missions suggests Beijing is now preparing to upgrade its submarine operations in the Indian Ocean. Accordingly, the PLA-N has been fine-tuning its standard operating procedures, gaining critical undersea experience, as well as securing vital hydrological and bathymetric data to maintain a sustained presence in the IOR.
For some, the PLA-N’s emphasis on undersea operations in the IOR has been surprising, given that China has no territorial claims in the region. A closer examination of the recent deployments, however, makes the underlying logic clear. The evolving nature of contemporary maritime operations – where littoral-dominance is deemed an operational imperative – makes it incumbent on Beijing to devise a strategy that secures access to contested spaces. The Chinese navy seems to have modeled its template of operations in the IOR on the U.S. Navy’s maritime doctrine that predicates naval missions on “freedom of movement and maneuver” in the high seas. The recalibration of the China’s essential maritime posture towards greater “open-seas” presence is outlined in Beijing’s new defense white paper on “maritime strategy.”
Europe in Crisis: EU plans to turn away masses of refugees from Europe ~ link ~
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker’s State of the European Union (EU) address yesterday highlighted the political gulf separating popular sympathy for the refugees arriving in Europe from the vindictive policies of the ruling class. While polls in Germany show broad support for granting asylum to all refugees, and thousands are turning out to greet and give aid to those arriving in Germany and Austria, the EU is preparing to turn away masses of refugees.
Juncker unveiled a proposal to spend a miserly sum on a quota system, under which only a small fraction of the total number of refugees would remain in Europe. “Since the beginning of the year, nearly 500,000 people have made their way to Europe,” Juncker said, mainly from Syria and Libya. Some 213,000 are in Greece, 145,000 in Hungary, and 115,000 in Italy.
Europe in Crisis: Saudi Arabia has 100,000 air conditioned tents that can house 3 million refugees yet they have taken in Zero refugees ~ link ~ But they have managed to fund the Israeli/US created ISIS that is destroying Syria and driving its people abroad!!! Stirling
Europe in Crisis: Deported Kosovo economic refugees left with nothing ~ link ~ This is an interesting article that highlights the desperation that economic refugees are having in the EU. While I feel for them, it is fair to say that the high level of corruption in their home nations is NOT the responsibility of the various EU nations, nor ultimately is it the duty of the EU citizens to allow their nations to be swamped with foreigners from Muslim nations with corrupt leaders and economies that don't work! Some of the current crop of refugees are not from Syria or current war zones, but from dirt poor corrupt Third World nations. The solution for those from active war zones, is to help them in the short run, force an end to the Globalist/Zionist created wars, and repatriate them to their home nations with financial assistance as soon as possible! On Sunday evening, the ruling parties of Germany—the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), the Christian Social Union (CSU) and the Social Democratic Party (SPD)—reached an agreement to declare Kosovo and other Balkan states “safe countries of origin,” to which refugees can be quickly deported without regular asylum procedures. A report published by the Monitor news magazine shortly before the decision clearly demonstrates the inhumane brutality of such an agreement.
Two of the magazine’s reporters accompanied the Murtezi family, deported from Düsseldorf, Germany to Kosovo’s capital city Pristina, whose airports receive deportation flights from Germany almost daily. They also visited the family at the home to which they had never wanted to return.
As Bloomberg summarizes, an estimated 20,000 metric tons or more of bullion - more than double holdings in the U.S. - is stashed in India’s homes and temples, according to the government. It is this gold that India is scrambling to move from private hands to the public ledger.
As covered here extensively in the past, India is desperately looking for a long-term solution to curb gold imports after the current-account deficit widened to a record $190 billion in 2013 and the rupee slumped to an all-time low.
