Armageddon also means that the Second Coming of Christ is near

Sorry about the poor quality of a couple of the recent posts.  'Blogger' seems to be acting up lately and I have lost some material and there are blank spaces where there should be none/etc.  Tim Earl of Stirling

NEWS FLASH: Israeli news sites claim that Russia has sent to Syria advanced teams in preparation for the landing of large numbers of Russian Paratroopers and also that Russian Air Force fighters have begun arriving in Syria.  Russia says that NO Russian Air Force fighters are in Syria but there does not seem to be any current Russian denials of Russian Paratrooper advance teams being in Syria.

Russian Military Forces Are Arriving In Syria - Have Set A Forward Operating Base Near Damascus ~ linkMake NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT, this could rapidly expand into a General Middle East War and the Third World War!!! Do read all of this one at the link.  Also keep in mind that a massive Russian/Chinese military force opposing Israel is right out of the last book of the Christian Bible!  It is only the first day of September and it appears that events are rapidly becoming much more dangerous on this planet!!!   Stirling

While military direct intervention by US, Turkish, and Gulf forces over Syrian soil escalates with every passing day, even as Islamic State forces capture increasingly more sovereign territory, in the central part of the country, the Nusra Front dominant in the northwestern region province of Idlib and the official "rebel" forces in close proximity to Damascus, the biggest question on everyone's lips has been one: would Putin abandon his protege, Syria's president Assad, to western "liberators" in the process ceding control over Syrian territory which for years had been a Russian national interest as it prevented the passage of regional pipelines from Qatar and Saudi Arabia into Europe, in the process eliminating Gazprom's - and Russia's - influence over the continent.

As recently as a month ago, the surprising answer appeared to be an unexpected "yes", as we described in detail in "The End Draws Near For Syria's Assad As Putin's Patience "Wears Thin." Which would make no sense: why would Putin abdicate a carefully cultivated relationship, one which served both sides (Russia exported weapons, provides military support, and in exchange got a right of first and only refusal on any traversing pipelines through Syria) for years, just to take a gamble on an unknown future when the only aggressor was a jihadist spinoff which had been created as byproduct of US intervention in the region with the specific intention of achieving precisely this outcome: overthrowing Assad (see "Secret Pentagon Report Reveals US "Created" ISIS As A "Tool" To Overthrow Syria's President Assad").

As it turns out, it may all have been just a ruse. Because as Ynet reports, not only has Putin not turned his back on Assad, or Syria, but the Russian reinforcements are well on their way. Reinforcements for what? Why to fight the evil Islamic jihadists from ISIS of course, the same artificially created group of bogeyman that the US, Turkey, and Saudis are all all fighting. In fact, this may be the first world war in which everyone is "fighting" an opponent that everyone knows is a proxy for something else.

Russia is gearing up to be the FIRST world power to insert ground forces into Syria ~ link ~ I do not agree with some of the statements expressed in this article ... remember that this site is sometimes called the 'posting board for the Mossad', however I do recommend that my readers read it in full at the link.  Stirling

Despite strong denials from Moscow, Russian airborne troops are preparing to land in Syria to fight Islamic State forces. The surprise attack on Monday, Aug. 31, by ISIS forces on the Qadam district of southern Damascus, in which they took over parts of the district - and brought ISIS forces the closest that any Syrian anti-Assad group has ever been to the center of the Syrian capital - is expected to accelerate the Russian military intervention.

Moscow is certainly not ready to endanger the position of President Bashar Assad or his rule in Damascus, and views it as a red line that cannot be crossed. If Russia intervenes militarily in this way, Russia will be the first country from outside the Middle East to send ground forces into the Syrian civil war.

No Russian Air Force fighters sent to Syria claims Russian military source ~ link

No Russian jets were deployed to Syria in order to launch attacks against Islamic State militants (IS, formerly ISIS, ISIL) and Syrian rebels, a military source told RT, dismissing reports in Israeli media.

"There has been no redeployment of Russian combat aircraft to the Syrian Arab Republic,” the source told RT on Tuesday. “The Russian Air Force is at its permanent bases and carrying out normal troop training and combat duty.”

Russian fighters take to the Syrian skies to 'combat ISIS' ~ link

Thousands of Russian military personnel are set to arrive in Syria over the coming weeks, including instructors, advisors, logistics personnel, technical personnel, members of the aerial protection division, and the pilots who will operate the aircraft said Ynet.

While the exact make-up the expeditionary force is unconfirmed, past reports had stated that Russia was in talks to sell Syria a package of MiG-29 fighter jets, and Yak-130 trainer jets which can also operate as attack aircraft. The new presence of Russian pilots operating combat missions over Syria is expected to drastically challenge the dynamics of the region.

Russia has begun its military intervention in Syria, deploying an aerial contingent to a permanent Syrian base, in order to launch attacks against ISIS and Islamist rebels; US stays silent.

ISIS Nearing the Heart of the Syrian Capital ~ link

After taking their first territory in Damascus yesterday, ISIS looked to expand even deeper into the Syrian capital city today, picking a fight with rival Islamist rebels in the Asali neighborhood of southern Damascus, advancing significantly in the area.
