Clashes on Turkish-Syrian border ~ link ~ link ~ Also see these related stories ~ link ~ link ~ link ~ Keep in mind that the Turkish Government is supporting ISIS and that they are lying about it, just as America and Israel are lying about supporting/not supporting ISIS.  If Turkey crosses into Syria, it will trigger a General Middle East War and that will almost certainly trigger the Third World War.  This is a very dangerous global flash point that can change human history for the worst!!!  Stirling
Turkey's military and Islamic State fighters have exchanged fire over the Syrian-Turkish border, killing one soldier, officials say. Turkish forces hit back when a border post was attacked from Syria, killing one militant, the army said.

The violence comes days after 32 people were killed in a suicide attack in south-eastern Turkey blamed on IS.

Gaza's ISIS affiliate threatens to rocket Israel to challenge Hamas ~ link
Gaza’s ISIS affiliate has issued a new statement today slamming Hamas for a spate of arrests against them, targeting suspects in a recent round for car bombings, and promising to carry out “reprisals” with missile attacks against Israel.
This has been a recurring problem for Hamas in recent months, as the ISIS affiliate knows Israel will respond to rocket fire from Gaza by attacking Hamas, even when their own military admits the rockets aren’t Hamas’ doing and that Hamas is trying to prevent the fire.
India, Japan and USA to hold Naval War Games in the Indian Ocean ~ link ~ India keeps toying with both alliances (NATO/Japan/Israel/Australia/etc. and Russia/China/Iran/etc) as events continue to move towards WWIII. Stirling
New Delhi’s decision to invite Japan to the “Malabar” exercises – which India conducts annually with the United States – suggests a tightening of military relations between three major maritime powers in Asia, analysts said, according to Reuters.

The inclusion of Japan also falls in line with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent efforts to forge close ties with the United States and its allies. Jeff Smith, a South Asia specialist at the American Foreign Policy Council, said the Modi government is “shedding the (previous) government’s anxiety about a more overt balancing posture toward China and a more robust strategic embrace of the US and Japan.”
Commodities collapsed just before the last stock market crash - Same thing is happening NOW ~ link ~
If we were going to see a stock market crash in the United States in the fall of 2015 (to use a hypothetical example), we would expect to see commodity prices begin to crash a few months ahead of time.  This is precisely what happened just before the great financial crisis of 2008, and we are watching the exact same thing happen again right now.  On Wednesday, commodities got absolutely pummeled, and at this point the Bloomberg Commodity Index is down a whopping 26 percent over the past twelve months.  When global economic activity slows down, demand for raw materials sinks and prices drop.  So important global commodities such as copper, iron ore, aluminum, zinc, nickel, lead, tin and lumber are all considered to be key “leading indicators” that can tell us a lot about where things are heading next.  And what they are telling us right now is that we are rapidly approaching a global economic meltdown
If the global economy was actually healthy and expanding, the demand for commodities would be increasing and that would tend to drive prices up.  But instead, prices continue to go down. The Bloomberg Commodity Index just hit a brand new 13-year low.  That means that global commodity prices are already lower than they were during the worst moments of the last financial crisis

Central Banks are manipulating the gold markets ~ link ~
Many investors still view gold as a safe-haven investment, but there remains much confusion regarding the extent to which the gold market is vulnerable to manipulation through short-term rigged market trades, and long-arm central bank interventions.
First, much of the gold that is being sold as shares, in certificates, or for physical hoarding in dubious “vaults” just isn’t there. Second, paper gold can be printed into infinity just like regular currency. Third, new electronic gold pricing — replacing, as of this past February, the traditional five-bank phone-call of the London Gold Fix in place since 1919 — has not necessarily proved a more trustworthy model. Fourth, there looms the specter of the central bank, particularly in the form of volume trading discounts that commodity exchanges offer them.

Police officers accused of using bean-bag rounds and Taser on man in a wheelchair ~ link ~ Ten armed police officers to arrest one wheelchair bound man, and they still had to fire bean-bag rounds and use a Taser on him!!!  If this had happened years ago, the officers would have been laughed off the force by real men/officers!!!  Stirling

Officers allege that the man later identified as Christopher Zareck, 43, tried to attack them, but their actions are being criticized. Cellphone video captured the incident, which unfolded Friday night, as officers tried to take Zareck into custody near Broadway Avenue and Third Street. The footage shows 10 LAPD officers surrounding Zareck, and shouts can be heard.

Police officer indicted after flash grenade thrown into baby's playpen causing severe injuries ~ link ~ The job of being a good police officer is a tough one, especially today considering the moral decay in our inner cities.  However, the training of our police does seem to need a good healthy dose of common sense and empathy for citizens.  Stirling
A sheriff’s deputy has been indicted on federal charges in connection to her role in a drug raid in which a flash grenade exploded in a playpen, severely injuring a toddler.
Former Habersham County Deputy Nikki Autry was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of providing false information in a search warrant affidavit, according to acting U.S. Attorney John Horn. She alleged said drugs were sold to an informant at the house when no drugs had been sold, according to the indictment.

Sandra Brand left a voicemail before her murder in a Texas jail ~ link ~ link ~ I still believe that most American, Canadian and British cops are decent people doing a increasingly hard and dangerous job.  However, be it the Israeli training that many have received, or the military hardware and attitudes that many departments have taken on, or whatever, there are simply way too many cases, lately, of police crossing the line and acting as thugs and criminals!!!  Stirling
Activist police brutality critic Sandra Bland was lawlessly arrested after being stopped for a dubious traffic violation. Waller County, TX police lied claiming she assaulted arresting state trooper Brian Encinia. Video evidence showed him harassing, threatening and abusing her.
He opened her car door, aggressively demanded she “(s)tep out of the car.” She justifiably hesitated saying “(y)ou do not have the right to do that. Don’t touch me. I’m not under arrest.

Encinia threatened her with his taser, saying “(g)et out of the car. I will light you up. Get out. Now. Get out of the car.” Bland was pinned to the ground, assaulted, handcuffed, arrested and jailed. She was found hanged to death in her cell.

US, Turkey impose partial no-fly zone over Syria
DEBKAfile July 24, 2015, 3:01 PM (IDT)

Turkish military sources reported Friday that the US and Turkish air forces had established a “partial no-fly zone” 40-50km deep inside Syria and 90km in length. It covers all of the Idlib province of northern Syria up to the Aleppo.

An act of war against Syria?
