2014: 43 Overlooked news photos ~ link

Year In Review: Top Ten Conspiracies of 2014 ~ link

With the year drawing to a close, it’s important to take inventory of some of the larger, more impactful conspiratorial stories and events in 2014.  It was a year which saw an unprecedented assault on reality, and our imaginations. Make no mistake, this is a psychic war being waged on our senses, as a media-driven synthetic reality is being advanced to consume reason and logic.

There were a number of other notable events that could have easily made this list – like the federal stand-off at Bundy Ranch, CIA Torture Report and Israel’s siege of Gaza – but we chose the ten most improbable conspiracies for this end of year omnibus special.

What debris field says about the crash of AirAsia - video ~ link

Air Asia: Fuselage detected by sonar ~ link ~

The recovery team looking for the crash site of missing AirAsia flight QZ8501 has found a large dark object lying on the seabed that is presumed to be the plane’s fuselage.

The object was found in the Sea of Java off the coast of Borneo “about 30 to 50 meters under water,” confirmed Mochamad Hernanto, an Indonesian official with the National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS).

Russian MP warns America against arming the Ukraine Coup Junta ~ link

Konstantin Kosachev, the head of Russia’s Upper House Committee for Foreign Relations, said Monday if the US implements such plans, it would definitely lead to further tensions in relations between Moscow and Washington as well as the deterioration of the security situation in Eastern Europe as a whole.
Kosachev added that the move would be an open interference in the conflict in eastern Ukraine, known as Donbass.
“Russia cannot be content with such plans as they would increase the tensions near our borders and also inevitably cause more casualties in Donbass,” said Kosachev.

Earlier on Monday, Frants Klintsevich, a Russian Lower House lawmaker, also criticized the US plans, vowing reciprocal actions from Moscow. Klintsevich said he would push for an official State Duma address to President Vladimir Putin, seeking to begin supplying the eastern Ukrainian breakaway regions of Donetsk and Lugansk with Russian military hardware.

Is Russia Anti-Illuminati ~ link

Today, the characterization of Russia holds no cloud of mystery and its motives are clear. Prince Charles and Hilary Clinton have compared Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin, to Adolf Hitler. President Obama has declared Russia one of the three major threats that face the world today, along with the terrorist group ISIS and the Ebola disease. And one only has to look to NATO’s twitter page to find their animosity towards Russia. But is this hostility warranted? An obvious “yes” would be said by anyone who accepts Western media as honest, unbiased journalism when they report on Russia’s actions in Ukraine and its involvement in that crisis.

But if one were to look beyond the Western propaganda, and straight to the facts, one could reasonably conclude that Russia, in a very sticky situation, has acted prudently and sensibly. If this is the case, then why the hostility? Why the propaganda? If one believes the illuminati is real — that this cult has a long-term plan for the world, and has considerable influence over Western governments, media and military organizations for which to advance that agenda — then it’s likely that the true motive behind the condemnation of Russia is because of Russia’s independence from this group and their unwillingness to cooperate.

Putin helped to thwart 1991 KGB Coup ~ link

It is extremely curious that such ostensibly conservative publications as The New American, for example, find themselves parroting accusations first made by notorious leftwing publicists and, then, by international gay rights supporters.

On the contrary, various historians and researchers, including Professor Allen C. Lynch (in his excellent study, Vladimir Putin and Russian Statecraft, 2011), Professor Michael Stuermer (in his volume, Putin and the Rise of Russia, 2008), M. S. King (in The War Against Putin, 2014), Reagan ambassador to the USSR Jack Matlock, Reagan Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Paul Craig Roberts, former Congressman Ron Paul (his web site, www.ronpaulinstitute.org, contains numerous scholarly articles defending Putin), Reagan budget director David Stockman, and conservative writer William Lind—none of these men on the Left—have pointed out that those allegations have been ripped out of context and are largely untenable.

Escalated American Wars Ahead ~ link

Obama is out-of-control. Deranged. Obsessed with war. His appetite for mass slaughter and destruction insatiable.

Monday's ceremonial nominal end to over 13 years of war in Afghanistan belies longstanding US plans. Including permanent occupation. Thousands of US combat troops remaining. Drone wars continuing. Afghanistan a de facto US colony.

Former White House Official - War will now expand to more nations bordering Russia ~ link ~ While this is happening far too many of the American and European people are diverted by crap entertainment and other nonsense.  World War III is a potential human life extinction event, yet where it the public's concern about what the Globalists and Zionists are doing to us???  Stirling

Today a former White House official told King World News to expect armed conflict to spread to additional countries bordering Russia.  Former presidential adviser and member of the U.S. President's Working Group on Financial Markets, Dr. Philippa Malmgren, also discussed why the war will expand and how Germany and other countries are positioning themselves ahead of even greater armed conflict.

Eric King:  “What about the fact that the Hungarian leader came out and essentially said, ‘I’m not looking to the West — the West is entirely bankrupt.  I’m looking to the East for the future of my country in terms of trade, finance, and commerce.”

Dr. Philippa Malmgren:  “Well, that’s a very big topic because it’s not just about Hungary — it’s about every nation that is on the border of Russia.  Each country is effectively signaling whose side its on….

Russian sanctions to cost German automakers $18 BILLION in sales ~ link ~ This one of the factors that are causing many analysis to wonder if Germany will abandon the Globalist/Zionist economic war against Russia!  Stirling

Few countries have invested more heavily in Russia than Germany has, rushing in to exploit new trade opportunities that opened up after the Cold War ended.
More than 6,000 German companies set up operations there, and Russia became a major customer for German cars, pharmaceuticals and machinery.
But now the rush is going in reverse.

EU is feeling the backlash of sanctions against Russia - Wants 'off the hook' ~ link
The latest EU foreign ministers' meeting earlier this month was aimed at getting the Europeans "off the sanctions hook", a former member of UK parliament and deputy leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) told Sputnik on Tuesday.

"I noticed that EU Foreign Ministers were meeting and the spin was that they were trying to get Putin off the hook," Jim Sillars said. "I suspect they were actually trying to get the EU off the sanctions hook."

Anti-Austerity Greek leader Alexis Tripras: The future has begun ~ link

Within minutes of the Athens parliament failing to elect a president, Alexis Tsipras, the man most likely to become Greece’s next prime minister, said the country had experienced “a historic day”. For the first time since the foundation of the modern Greek state nearly 200 years ago, radical leftists – marginalised, tortured and tormented for the best part of the 20th century – were on course to assume power. “Greeks,” he said, “should rejoice.” The government that had put the country through an assault course of austerity would soon be over.

The onerous terms of the deeply unpopular “memoranda”, agreed with foreign lenders to keep insolvent Greece afloat, would be overturned.

Do you really believe that America's financial problems from 2008 have been fixed? ~ link ~

I have a question for you... Do you think the economy can really be “back to normal” in our country when:
  • Roughly 75% of Americans are still living paycheck to paycheck, with essentially zero savings.
  • Or when the number of people on food stamps has doubled since Barack Obama took office… and HALF of all children born today will be on food stamps at some point in their life?
  • Do you think everything can really be back to normal when, according to the most recent numbers from the Census Bureau, an incredible 49% of Americans are receiving benefits from at least one government program EVERY SINGLE month?
  •

The American People are utterly clueless about what is going to happen as we enter the New Year ~ link ~

The American people are feeling really good right about now.  For example, Gallup’s economic confidence index has hit the highest level that we have seen since the last recession.  In addition, nearly half of all Americans believe that 2015 will be a better year than 2014 was, and only about 10 percent believe that it will be a worse year.  And a lot of people are generally feeling quite good about the people that have been leading our nation.  According to Gallup, once again this year Hillary Clinton is the most admired woman in America and Barack Obama is the most admired man in America.  I don’t know what that says about our nation, but it can’t be good.  Unfortunately, when things seem to be going well common sense tends to go out the window.  A couple days ago, the Guardian ran an article entitled “Goodbye to one of the best years in history“, and a whole lot of people out there are feeling really optimistic these days.  But should they be?

Sadly, what we are experiencing right now is so similar to what we witnessed in 2007 and early 2008.  The stock market had been on a great run, people were flipping houses like crazy and most people were convinced that the party would never end.

The computer apps that know everything about you ~ linkAlso see ~ link

We reached out to Jason Hong, a professor of computer science at Carnegie Mellon and founder of PrivacyGrade.org, a site that ranks apps by how well they respect your personal privacy. Hong is a leading researcher on app security. So we asked him: What do the most downloaded apps know about us, and what do they do with that information?

Ten shocking facts about society that we accept as totally normal ~ link ~

I believe Michael Ellner said it well in his quote:
“Just look at us. Everything is backwards, everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, psychiatrists destroy minds, scientists destroy truth, major media destroys information, religions destroy spirituality and governments destroy freedom.”

How to spot potentially dazzling 'New Year's Comet' ~ link ~ Also see ~ link

A newfound comet could put on a spectacular show in Earth's skies in early 2015.

The comet — officially catalogued as 2014 Q2, or Q2 for short — should be a fine object to view in small telescopes and binoculars during much of January. In dark skies free of significant light pollution, the comet may even be visible with the unaided eye.
