A patient who'd traveled to Liberia led a Braintree medical facility to close "briefly" on Sunday, after the patient arrived complaining of symptoms associated with the Ebola virus, medical center authorities said. The symptoms included headache and muscle aches.
The patient was transferred to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, and the facility, the Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates branch in Braintree, has since re-opened. The building wasn't evacuated, a spokeswoman for the medical practice said.
