Yanukovych Press Conference: Blames West for Ukraine Crisis - with video ~ link ~ Ukraine’s ousted president, Viktor Yanukovych, says the power in Ukraine was seized by a fascist minority, blaming irresponsible policies of the West for the country's simmering crisis.
Yanukovych made the remarks on Friday in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, while holding his first press conference since his ouster.  Yanukovych added that he had not been deposed, rather he had been stripped of power by what he called pro-fascist mobs.

Over 80 combat helicopters redeployed in 'drills' in Russia's Western Military Districts - with photos ~ link ~ More than 80 combat helicopters of the army air force in the Western Military District have begun redeploying to operational airfields during the surprise drill started on February 26, the Russian Defence Ministry's press service told Itar-Tass on Friday.

Russian military choppers arrive in the Crimea - with video ~ link ~ Naval blockade, check. APCs and military vehicles rolling into the Crimean, check. Mysterious gunmen taking over the parliament and airports, check. And now: Russian military helicopters, which as the clip below shows were sighted on their way to Belbek airport in Sevastopol.

Ukraine Acting President says Russia 'has invaded Ukraine' as 2,000 Russian troops and military jets arrive ~ link ~ This is NOT the invasion...just some minor early movement of key special forces...When/if the Russians invade there will be no mistaking what is happening!!!  Stirling

RT: 'No takeover' at Crimean capital's airport, 'self-defense squads' on nearby patrol - with video ~ link ~ Also see ~ link ~ Sorry but I don't buy into this.  It looks like a Russian commando operation to me!  Stirling
The self-defense squads that raided Simferopol International Airport during the night have left the airport terminal, but are still patrolling the grounds outside. Airport security says the squads are helping to ensure safety.

Crimeans began protesting after the new self-proclaimed government in Kiev introduced a law abolishing the use of other languages in official circumstances in Ukraine. More than half the Crimean population are Russian and use only this language for their communication. The residents have announced they are going to hold a referendum to determine the fate of the Ukrainian autonomous region.

AIPAC plans to pressure White House over Iran ~ link ~ You know this tiny minority using its money to bribe and blackmail the White House and Congress to get America involved in unnecessary wars so that Israel can steal more Arab land and lord itself over all of the Middle East is a 'bunch of crap' that needs to end!  It is beyond shameful that we have allowed such a tiny minority to drive American's foreign and domestic policy and to get our sons killed in totally unnecessary foreign wars.  Time to end their using the claim of "antisemitism" to scare everyone into doing their evil bidding!!!  Stirling

Central Banker named new Ukrainian PM ~ link ~ What a shocker...NOT.  Stirling
A reshuffled Ukrainian Parliament installed following a coup last week has voted to appoint Arseniy Yatsenyuk as the new prime minister of the country. Yats, as Victoria Nuland, the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. State Department, called him, is a natural choice. He is a millionaire former banker who served as economy minister, foreign minister and parliamentary speaker before Yanukovych took office in 2010. He is a member of Yulie Tymoshenko’s Fatherland Party. Prior to the revolution cooked up by the State Department and executed by ultra-nationalist street thugs, Tymoshenko was incarcerated for embezzlement and other crimes against the people of Ukraine. Now she will be part of the installed government, same as she was after the last orchestrated coup, the Orange Revolution.
Yats will deliver Ukraine to the international bankers. “Ukraine is on the brink of bankruptcy and needs to be saved from collapse — Yatsenyuk has a strong economic background,” Ariel Cohen, senior fellow at the Washington-based Heritage Foundation, told Bloomberg on Wednesday. “Ukraine faces difficult reforms but without them there won’t be a successful future.”

US, NATO, EU lecture Russia with 'provocative statements' on Ukraine - with video ~ link ~ Moscow has urged NATO to refrain from provocative statements on Ukraine and respect its non-bloc status after a chorus of Western politicians said Russia should be “transparent” about its military drills and avoid any steps that could be “misunderstood.”

“When NATO starts giving a consideration the situation in Ukraine, it sends out the wrong signal,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement published on its website on Thursday.

'Shut the f**k up, b*tch'. Notorious far-right Ukraine leader attacks prosecutor - with video ~ link ~ Ukrainian radical nationalist leader Aleksandr Muzychko went on with the rampage against regional authorities, lashing out at a local prosecutor with obscene language, punches and threats. The radical claimed the prosecutors were “sabotaging” their job.

Muzychko, who is a member of the Right Sector radical movement, arrived at Rovno (Rivne) Oblast prosecutor’s office after he heard claims that a criminal investigation into a local murder is being delayed.

The controversial “activist,” known for taking part in the Chechen conflict against Russian troops, for his recent Kalashnikov brandishing in front of regional authorities and for making openly anti-Semitic statements, decided to take the matter into his own hands.

Ukrainian authorities are ready to use Army to subdue pro-Russian demonstrators ~ link ~ But the man they removed as elected President did NOT use the Army against them.   Stirling

Putin in crisis talks with Western leaders as Russian armoured vehicles and hilcopters aer on the move  ~ link ~ U.S. and Britain have both made crisis phone calls to President Putin to urge him not to intervene Ukraine's Crimea as tensions in the region reach dangerous news levels.

Today armed men took control of two airports in the Crimea region in what the new Ukrainian leadership described as an invasion and occupation by Moscow's forces. More than 10 Russian military helicopters flew into Ukrainian airspace over Crimea, Kiev's border guard service said, accusing Russian servicemen of blockading one of its units in the port city of Sevastopol, where part of Moscow's Black Sea fleet is based.

Ukraine imposes Capital Controls, limits foreign currency withdrawals ~ link ~ linkYesterday we reported that as part of the Ukrainian central bank's plan to bailout the nation's largely insolvent private banks, it would provide any needed funding but only "if they will remain under open control of the National Bank of Ukraine." And since the new CB head Stepan Kubiv's allegiance to Europe were already well-known, this was merely a quick and efficient way of providing Europe with all the banking details including asset holdings of the local population. Today, the annexation of the country's banking system by a "benevolent" Europe is complete.

Itar-Tass reports that Ukraine's national bank has imposed temporary limits to withdraw money from foreign currency deposits to sums equivalent to no more than 15,000 hryvnias (about $1,500) a day, National Bank Chief Stepan Kubiv told a press conference. Or, as the citizens of Cyprus call it - capital controls.

Russia seeking access to bases in 8 nations for its ships and bombers ~ link
At a time of escalated tensions with the West over Ukraine, Russia says it is negotiating with eight governments around the world for access to military facilities, to enable it to extend its long-range naval and strategic bomber capabilities.
Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Wednesday the military was engaged in talks with Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Algeria, Cyprus, the Seychelles, Vietnam and Singapore.

How International Financial Elites change governments to Implement Austerity ~ link ~ The current Austerity Fascism that we are seeing in much of Europe is nothing but the Global Banking Cartel families using their bought-and-paid-for political whores in governments to steal everything possible from the public!!!  Why are we allowing this evil scum to get by with this?   Stirling

Many countries around the world are plagued by all kinds of armed rebellions, economic sanctions, civil wars, “democratic” coup d’├ętats and/or wars of “regime change.” These include Ukraine, Venezuela, Syria, Thailand, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt, Yemen, Somalia and Lebanon. Even in the core capitalist countries the overwhelming majority of citizens are subjected to brutal wars of economic austerity.

While not new, social convulsions seem to have become more numerous in recent years. They have become especially more frequent since the mysterious 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001 and the 2008 financial collapse in the United States, which soon led to similar financial implosions and economic crises in Europe and beyond.

Despite their many differences, these social turbulences share two common features. The first is that they are largely induced, nurtured and orchestrated from outside, that is, by the Unites States and its allies—of course, in collaboration with their class allies from inside. And the second is that, contrary to the long-established historical pattern of social revolutions, where the desperate and disenfranchised masses rebelled against the ruing elites, in most of the recent struggles it is the elites that have insigated insurgencies and civil wars against the masses. The two features are, of course, integrally intertwined: essentially reflecting the shared interests and collaborative schemes of the international plutocracies against the global 99%.

Monsanto's Roundup may be linked to fatal kidney disease, new study suggests ~ link ~ This is likely just one more example of a Illuminati Population Reduction Program in action.  They are killing us slowly!!!  Stirling
A heretofore inexplicable fatal, chronic kidney disease that has affected poor farming regions around the globe may be linked to the use of biochemical giant Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide in areas with hard water, a new study has found.

The new study was published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.

Researchers suggest that Roundup, or glyphosate, becomes highly toxic to the kidney once mixed with “hard” water or metals like arsenic and cadmium that often exist naturally in the soil or are added via fertilizer. Hard water contains metals like calcium, magnesium, strontium, and iron, among others. On its own, glyphosate is toxic, but not detrimental enough to eradicate kidney tissue.
