"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?

We are living in a propaganda matrix that is controlled by a tiny demonic global banking elite.  Their almost total control of the mainstream news media and most politicians allows them to do all types of PsyOps that in a normal society would 'never fly'.  Stirling

Pope Benedict XVI formally resigns to become 'pilgrim' - with video ~ link
The pontiff, aged 85, was earlier flown by helicopter from the Vatican to his retreat at Castel Gandolfo, near Rome. The college of cardinals, headed by Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, is now in charge of the world's 1.2 billion Roman Catholics until a new pope is elected. Benedict vowed "unconditional obedience and reverence" to his successor. He stepped down after nearly eight years in office - the first pontiff to do so in 600 years.

Benedict's reign ends with a promise to obey the next Pope ~ link
Pope Benedict ended his difficult reign on Thursday pledging unconditional obedience to whoever succeeds him to guide the Roman Catholic Church at one of the most crisis-ridden periods in its 2,000-year history.

The papacy became vacant at 8 p.m. (7:00 p.m. British time), marking the first time in six centuries a pope has resigned instead of ruling for life.

Benedict XVI's papacy officially ends ~ link
Pope Benedict XVI has left the Vatican as head of the Catholic Church for the last time, becoming only the second pontiff to resign because he felt unable to fulfil his duties in the Church's 2,000-year history.

Benedict XVI has retired and is officially no longer the head of the Catholic Church - making him the first pope to quit the post in 600 years.

At 8pm local time the doors of Castel Gandolfo closed and the famous Swiss Guard that ceremonially watch over the pope's summer residence marched away - signalling the end of Benedict's eight-year papacy and that the position of pope is now vacant.

He will keep his current name but from now on will be known as Pope Emeritus, or referred to as "his holiness", as he devotes his days to prayer and meditation.
