Renewed clashes between India and Pakistan in disputed Kashmir ~ link ~ This area has been "in dispute" all my life and I am 62 years old!  So WHY NOW are we having new clashes???  All of this is tied into the coming General Middle East War.  Pakistan, which has a large number of advanced atomic (single stage) and hydrogen (multi-stage) bombs has pledged to defend Iran from atomic attack by Israel. That Pakistan is feeling "pressure" from India (close to Israel) at this time, is NOT an accident.  That Pakistan's protector, China, is involved in "problems" with Japan (secretly nuclear armed) is NOT an accident.  This strategic gamesmanship is the same type of crap that took all of Europe into the "Great War"/WWI almost a hundred years ago.  However, 21st Century warfare and weapons-of-mass-destruction are NOT survivable ... at least not without the direct intervention of God Himself!!!  Stirling
Relations between India and Pakistan have again been plunged into crisis, with intensifying tensions along the Line of Control (LoC), which divides disputed Kashmir between Indian and Pakistani-controlled sectors, following the killing of five Indian soldiers last week.
Analysis: Are India and Pakistan headed for War? ~ link ~ I believe that left alone, Pakistan and India will NOT engage in a war.  However, it is outside strategic interests that could engulf them in the Third World War.  I do hope that these two enemies can see that they are being 'played' by outsiders against their own interests and both agree to sit out the coming global war.   Stirling

Morsi ousted to stop plan for sending Egypt military to attack Syria's Assad ~ link ~ Keep this in mind as you condemn the Egyptian Army for their heavy handedness (and I have joined in the condemnation myself).  Had they not kicked Morsi out, we might already be in WWIII.   Stirling
Convincing evidence suggests that Egypt’s President Mohammad Morsi was ousted from power in a military coup in part because the Egyptian army feared he was plotting to order them to invade Syria in support of the embattled death squad insurgency against the Assad government there.

The combination of Morsi’s aggressive designs against Syria, together with some trial balloons from presidential circles about a possible conflict with Ethiopia, plus the massive anti-Morsi demonstrations organized by the National Salvation Front and the Tamarod movement, convinced military leaders that the incompetent and erratic Morsi, who had destroyed his own popularity by selling out to the demands of the International Monetary Fund last November, represented an intolerable risk for Egypt.

According to the Washington Post, the dissatisfaction of the Egyptian military with Morsi “peaked in June, when Morsi stood by twice as officials around him called for Egyptian aggression against Ethiopia and Syria, threatening to suck Egypt into conflicts that it could ill afford, former military officials said.”

Morsi’s call for Holy War against Assad came just three days after US Secretary of State John Kerry, at a meeting of the Principals’ Committee of the US Government, tried to ram through an immediate bombing campaign against Damascus, but had to settle for the option of arming the Syrian terrorist opposition, leading many observers to conclude that the Egyptian president was acting as part of a US anti-Syrian strategy.

Violent clashes leave 'at least 60' dead and scores injured across Egypt ~ linkThe death toll of Friday's violent clashes across Egypt has now risen to at least 60 people, security officials say.
Around 50 people were killed in the capital of Cairo alone, as supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi take part in a 'Day of Rage'.

Fukushima apocalypse: Years of ‘duct tape fixes’ could result in ‘millions of deaths’

There are 1.300 hard to recover fuel rods to recover. What could possibly go wrong? I think Murphy's Law holds the answer to that one.
