Government surveillance of American Citizens goes far beyond what you are being told ~ link ~ This is an important part of the drive to the demonic high-tech police state, the New World Order, that the globalists and Zionists are working for!   Stirling
Every single day, the U.S. government gathers and stores more than a billion phone calls, emails, text messages, photographs and Internet searches.  Just about every form of electronic communication that you can possibly imagine is being harvested.  In fact, it has been reported that NSA personnel gather 2.1 million gigabytes of data every hour.  This is being done even though it is a blatant violation of the U.S. Constitution.  Sadly, most Americans do not even know what the Fourth Amendment actually says.  For those that do not know, the Fourth Amendment says the following: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”  Unfortunately, our leaders have totally abandoned the Constitution.  They seem to believe that they have the right to look through our electronic communications any time they want and that we should not complain about it.  As you will see below, workers at the NSA have even eavesdropped on very intimate conversations between soldiers serving in Iraq and their female loved ones back home.  What kind of sick person would do such a thing?  Sadly, the truth is that we have allowed ourselves to become a “Big Brother society”, and we are an utter disgrace to the millions of brave men and women who have died to defend our freedoms.

Obama administration collecting phone records of tens of millions of Americans ~ link ~ The Obama administration is engaged in a secret and illegal dragnet to accumulate detailed phone records of tens and perhaps hundreds of millions of US residents in a program organized by the National Security Agency (NSA).

On Wednesday, the British Guardian newspaper published a secret court order, issued by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, instructing a branch of the telecommunications giant Verizon to turn over, on an ongoing and daily basis, all “metadata” relating to the calls of all of its customers. Verizon has some 121 million customers, and the branch specifically targeted—Verizon Business Services—has 10 million lines.

Tech giants share shocking amount of data with US government ~ link ~ Hitler and Stalin would have loved this technology!!!  Stirling

The National Security Agency and FBI have been engaging in a highly classified program that mines data from leading U.S. internet companies, according to a bombshell report in The Washington Post Thursday night. The program is code-named PRISM, and the Post reports that it was established in 2007. According to the report, the nine companies that "participate knowingly" in the program are Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, PalTalk, AOL, Skype, YouTube, Apple.
The NSA and FBI tap directly into the central servers of the companies, obtaining audio, video, photographs, emails, documents and connection logs that "enable analysts to track a person’s movements and contacts over time," according to the Post.

Meet PRISM/US - 984XN - The US Government's Internet Espionage Super Operation ~ link ~ The disclosures involving this (and the prior) administration's Big Brother surveillance state, which would make Nixon blush with envy are now coming fast and furious (one wonders - why now: even that bastion of liberalism the NY Times, has turned against Obama). Although while the Guardian's overnight news that Verizon (and most certainly AT&T as well among others) was cooperating with the NSA on spying on US citizens, so far at least the internet seemed, if only to the great unwashed masses, immune. That is no longer the case following news from the WaPo exposing PRISM, a highly classified program, which has not been disclosed publicly before. "Its establishment in 2007 and six years of exponential growth took place beneath the surface of a roiling debate over the boundaries of surveillance and privacy." What PRISM does is to allow the NSA and the FBI to tap directly "into the central servers of nine leading U.S. Internet companies, extracting audio, video, photographs, e-mails, documents and connection logs that enable analysts to track a person’s movements and contacts over time."

USA threatens Iran and Hezbollah for backing Syria ~ link ~ The White House issued its most threatening statement yet yesterday, denouncing Iran and the Lebanese Shia movement Hezbollah as “partners in tyranny” for their support of the Assad regime in Syria.
This week, Syrian government forces claimed victory in the battle for the strategic town of Qusayr, near the Lebanese border, after weeks of fighting beginning May 19. Qusayr lies along a land corridor linking Damascus and the Mediterranean coastal area that is home to Assad’s Alawite sect and is, at the same time, key to maintaining opposition supply lines to Lebanon.

Israel is 'reinforcing' IDF troops along Syrian Golan border ~ link

White House: Unacceptable for Syrian Government to retake Qusayr from "rebels" ~ link ~ I would give this one the dreaded Five BS Flag Award but the BS is so deep on this one that it covers the flag poles!   Stirling

Golan: Dangerous Escalation in South Syria Hotspot ~ link ~ There has been off-and-on fighting in the Syrian-held portion of Golan for months now, but the situation has grown dramatically less stable in the past 24 hours, with rebels and Syrian military forces clashing in the area near Israel’s border.

The fighting started with rebels ceasing an important crossing point along the ceasefire line with Israeli-occupied Golan. The post was eventually retaken by government forces, but it added to concerns about rebel influence in the area.

As the fighting grew seemingly everybody has gotten involved in some manner, with two UN soldiers suffering injuries from the shelling in the area near the crossing, and Austria announcing that it will withdraw its portion of the UN monitoring mission.

Erdogan vows to run roughshod over continuing protests in Turkey ~ link ~ The 21st Century seems to be one, so far, of fascism/war/economic collapse and the like ... delightful NOT!   Stirling
Indicating that he would make no concessions to protesters’ demands, he said it would be “meaningless to have a race… The logic of ‘If I take this, I want this,’ ‘If you give this, I want this’ has no place in running a state.”
Apparently seeking to provide grounds for a renewed police crackdown, Erdogan said: “Among the protesters, there are extremists, some of them implicated in terrorism.”

Erosion of our civil liberties highlights those who will resist when society breaks down ~ link ~ Most of the major things happening now are tied in with one another, this includes political, military, economic, freedom, and austerity.   Stirling
The vision ofmy future is bleak, so is yours. There’s no need for me to list and link the abuses of power that are imposed on us by the government, unless you have been living in a cave for the last year or so you will know about the constant erosion of our civil liberties, the removal of our rights is gathering pace.
Everyday another piece of legislation determines what we can and can’t do. Not outlandish things, simple things, everyday things, things that we should be able to take for granted like catching rainwater, growing veggies wherever we like on our property, making a phone call without the intrusion of government eavesdroppers and information gatherers.
It’s not just happening here either. Almost the entire Northern Hemisphere is moving in the same direction. The UK and the Eurozone, even though they have big stuff like bankruptcy and record unemployment to worry about, continue to impose idiotic and restrictive laws on their citizens.
I’ve been asking myself why a lot recently. Why do this, what’s the point of doing these things now? Why not next week or next month?

Europe battling catastrophic flooding - Water wave on the way to Croatia ~ linkEUROPE is in a battle with the worst flooding that has hit in recent years. Flooded are Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic, Hungary has also declared "state of emergency" because of water wave surging on the Danube, and by the weekend it will also reach the Croatia.

German media reported that parts of the country have not seen such floods for centuries! In Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic, floods claimed at least 14 lives. A dozen people were missing in flash floods. Most deaths counted Czech Republic, where eight people were killed, while in Germany, were killed at least three, in Austria at least two people, and one in Switzerland.

Throughout the Czech Republic evacuated was more than 19,000 people. River water levels are near the record from 2002. year when the terrible floods have hit central Europe and when only in the Czech Republic was killed 17 people. In the Czech capital of Prague fear reruns remembering catastrophic floods from 1997 and 2002. year.

Meet your new boss: Buying large employers will enable China to Dominate Thousands of US Communities ~ link ~ Another great gift to the American people from the global banksters!!!   Stirling
Are you ready for a future where China will employ millions of American workers and dominate thousands of small communities all over the United States?  Such a future would be unimaginable to many Americans, but the truth is that it is already starting to happen.  Chinese acquisition of U.S. businesses set a new all-time record last year, and it is on pace to absolutely shatter that record this year.  Meanwhile, China is voraciously gobbling up real estate and is establishing economic beachheads all over America.  If China continues to build economic power inside the United States, it will eventually become the dominant economic force in thousands of small communities all over the nation.  Just think about what the Smithfield Foods acquisition alone will mean.  Smithfield Foods is the largest pork producer and processor in the world.  It has facilities in 26 U.S. states and it employs tens of thousands of Americans.  It directly owns 460 farms and has contracts with approximately 2,100 others.  But now a Chinese company has bought it for $4.7 billion, and that means that the Chinese will now be the most important employer in dozens of rural communities all over America.  If you don't think that this is important, you haven't been paying much attention to what has been going on in the world.  Thanks in part to our massively bloated trade deficit with China, the Chinese have trillions of dollars to spend.  They are only just starting to exercise their economic muscles.

And it is important to keep in mind that there is often not much of a difference between "the Chinese government" and "Chinese corporations".  In 2011, 43 percent of all profits in China were produced by companies that the Chinese government had a controlling interest in.  Americans are accustomed to thinking of "government" and "business" as being separate things, but in China they are often one and the same.  Even when there is a separation in ownership, the reality is that no major Chinese corporation is going to go against the authority and guidance of the Chinese government.  The relationship between government and business in China is much different than it is in the United States.

UK austerity cuts "will last for two elections" ~ link ~ So the British people are suppose to put up with this austerity fascism for about a decade and a half more, while the big banks continue to loot and the unnecessary wars continue.   Time to kick the political class out and put the globalist banksters in prison!!!  Stirling
