North Korea ends all non-agression packs with South Korea - Closes border - Cuts Hot Line ~ link ~ So far, it appears that they have not yet followed through on their threat to end the actual Armistice Agreement that ended the fighting in the Korean War.   I still don't think that this will blow up, but the possibility of that happening just moved up 'big time'.   Stirling

Last Cardinal-Elector arrives at Vatican ~ link ~ Under the revised rules, changed by Pope Benedict XVI the last week of his papacy, the Cardinal-Electors may now vote on when they will go into the Secret Conclave to elect the next Pope.  That could happen tomorrow.  While they could also begin the Secret Conclave on Friday 8 March 2013 that is unlikely, and in fact, there are indications that the Secret Papal Conclave may not begin until mid-week or later, next week.  Certain factions in the Curia wanted a quick vote fearing a delay could result in a more radical vote and perhaps a more radical (even a non-cardinal) outside reformer brought in as Pope.  Stirling
