"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?

We are living in a propaganda matrix that is controlled by a tiny demonic global banking elite.  Their almost total control of the mainstream news media and most politicians allows them to do all types of PsyOps that in a normal society would 'never fly'.  Stirling

  End of Days

Palestinian prisoners stage fast over inmate death ~ link ~ The long occupation of the Arab lands seized in the 67' War, the outright taking of much of this land, the mass punishments handed out to the Palestinians, the turning of what's left of the occupied lands into a giant open air prison, etc., etc. is all a matter of grave violations of International Law.  If any nation but Israel had done even a tiny fraction of the offenses that Israel has done, there would be massive international outcry and UN forces would have been sent in to make things right.  That Israel has and continues to get by with totally racist and horrific behavior is reflective of the power of the globalists and Zionists and their ability to bribe a large percentage of the First World's political class.  It is also a sign of the End Times.   Stirling
Palestinian's death prompts call for fresh probe ~ linkThe Palestinian man who died in custody in an Israeli jail on Saturday showed obvious signs of torture, a senior Palestinian government minister said, calling for an independent, international investigation into his death.

Israel’s Ministry of Health said the initial autopsy results cannot – at this stage – indicate the cause of death.

Israel’s treatment of the 4500 Palestinian prisoners it holds in custody – all of whom took part in a mass hunger strike on Sunday – has prompted angry demonstrations across the West Bank over the last three days as protesters clashed with Israeli Defence Forces.

Palestinians report that detainee was tortured before his death ~ link ~ One of thousands so killed by torture.  You can see this Israeli-centered torture program at work in the US prison in Cuba, in US torture centers in Iraq, Afghanistan and in the secret CIA prisons all over the world.  This 'need' to torture comes from Satan, it is a demonic thing and has little if anything to do with gaining tactical or strategic information from those tortured.  Wake up World...see what is really happening and the totally evil forces at work behind the scenes.   Stirling

Palestinian Minister of Prisoners Issa Qaraqea said Jaradat died as result of torture. The Palestinian Authority state pathologist was present at the autopsy on Jaradat's body, which was carried out in Israel.

"There were marks of torture on the back, marks of torture on the chest, a deep wound on the upper side of the shoulder, wounds alongside the spine and marks of torture underneath the skin," Qaraqea said, based on the Palestinian doctor's basic findings.

Accused of torture, Israel demands Palestinians calm unrest ~ link ~ Giving a new meaning to the word 'chutzpah'.  The Israelis know no shame!!!  Stirling

Israel demanded Palestinian leaders quell unrest as protests and clashes rocked the West Bank on Sunday, after the death of a prisoner who the Palestinians claim died under Israeli torture.

Over 4,000 Palestinian prisoners staged, meanwhile, a one-day hunger strike to protest the death on Saturday of Arafat Jaradat, amid widespread street clashes with Israeli security forces.

Palestinian minister of prisoner affairs Issa Qaraqaa accused Israel of torturing Jaradat to death, citing the preliminary findings of an Israeli-Palestinian autopsy.

Europe holds its breath as Italy votes ~ link ~ Fellow E.U. countries and investors are watching closely, as the decisions that Italy makes over the next several months promise to have a profound impact on whether Europe can decisively put out the flames of its financial crisis. Greece’s troubles in recent years were enough to spark a series of market panics. With an economy almost 10 times the size of Greece’s, Italy is simply too big a country for Europe, and the world, to see fail.

Then there’s the wild card: comic-turned-politician Beppe Grillo, whose protest movement against the entrenched political class has been drawing tens of thousands to rallies in piazzas across Italy. If his self-styled political “tsunami” sweeps into Parliament with a big chunk of seats, Italy could be in store for a prolonged period of political confusion that would spook the markets.

Markets brace for crucial Italy election test ~ link ~
Investors are awaiting the outcome a wide open Italian election that could trigger a sell-off in stocks and bonds and renew concerns about the euro if the polls bring an unstable government.

Polling stations open for a second and final day on Monday and exit polls will be published soon after they close at 3 p.m. (1400 GMT).  Opinion polls have suggested the centre-left Democratic Party (PD) of Pierluigi Bersani could secure a narrow victory in the recession-hit country, the euro zone's third-largest economy.

News Analysis: Italy election provokes great concern ~ link ~ The Italian people are fed up with the usual bought-and-paid-for political whores that the globalists control.   Stirling

The election, unlike the previous ones, is taking place amid a deep recession in about two decades and austerity measures that have caused widespread public sentiment in the eurozone's third-largest economy.

The members in the eurozone are paying highly attention to the election, awaiting a strong Italian government capable of firm action, which could prevent the looming Greek-style scenario in the country, media reports said.

First day of voting in Parliamentary elections ends in Italy ~ link The first day of voting in parliamentary elections has ended in Italy. Polling stations across the country will now open Monday morning, and after 3 pm the vote count will begin.

On the first day 46.8% of the electorate cast their ballots. Such a low turnout observers attribute to inclement weather conditions.

Cyprus election: Nicos Anastesiades elected President ~ link ~ Centre-right leader Nicos Anastasiades has won the Cypriot presidential election with 57.5% of the vote.

It was a comfortable victory over Communist-backed Stavros Malas on 42.5%. Mr Malas has admitted defeat. Mr Anastasiades takes power as Cyprus stands on the brink of bankruptcy, hit by the knock-on effect of Greece's economic woes.

Cypriot conservative romps to presidential victory ~ link I suspect that the Cypriot people will come to regret this vote, and soon.  Stirling

Tiny Cyprus has emerged as a big headache for the euro zone in recent months, triggering fears the island could plunge into a financial meltdown that reignites the bloc's debt crisis. A bailout has proved elusive eight months since talks began.

Anastasiades, who has pledged to hammer out a quick deal with foreign lenders, took 57.5 percent of the vote, 15 points ahead of his Communist-backed rival Stavros Malas, who campaigned on an anti-austerity platform.

Rightwing chief wins Cyprus poll vowing bailout deal ~ link ~ Bailing out the banksters has been so successful elsewhere in Europe...NOT!!!   Stirling
Rightwinger Nicos Anastasiades romped to victory in the Cyprus presidential election Sunday, vowing to secure an "earliest possible" bailout for the financially crippled EU state and winning support from the European Commission chief.
The 66-year-old, who takes over at the end of the month for a five-year term, said during his campaign he will accept harsh measures required to secure a bailout from the eurozone and IMF, while Malas campaigned on a pro-bailout but anti-austerity ticket.
