Syrian chemical weapons moved US says ~ link ~ I first linked to a story on this yesterday. Is this true??? Who knows, it could be a False Flag PsyOp and/or laying the groundwork for a False Flag chemical attack "by Syria" to "justify" a US/NATO war. Or it could be Syria getting ready for the increased NATO onslaught that almost everyone expects. One thing is certain: Syria will NOT allow foreign powers to destroy it without raining WMD on its enemies. We continue to face what could become the human race's greatest nightmare, World War Three beginning in the Middle East. Stirling
A senior defense official said intelligence officials have detected
activity around more than one of Syria's chemical weapons sites in the
last week. The defense official spoke on condition of anonymity because
he was not authorized to speak publicly about intelligence matters.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, in Prague for
meetings with Czech officials, reiterated President Barack Obama's
declaration that Syrian action on chemical weapons was a "red line" for
the United States that would prompt action.
"We have made our views very clear: This is a red line for the United
States," Clinton told reporters. "I'm not going to telegraph in any
specifics what we would do in the event of credible evidence that the
Assad regime has resorted to using chemical weapons against their own
people. But suffice it to say, we are certainly planning to take action
if that eventuality were to occur."
UN pulls nonessential international staff from Syria ~ link ~ They can spin this anyway they want to, but this is not a good sign! Stirling
The United Nations has ordered all of its non-essential international staff to leave Syria,
saying Monday that the escalating violence in the civil war-struck
country is making it harder and more risky for humanitarian workers to
do their jobs. The U.N. also plans to reduce some of its field work in the Arab state.
Officials said up to a quarter of the 100 international staff working for several U.N. agencies could exit by week’s end.
NATO activates Allied Land Command in Turkey ~ link ~ Getting ready for "the big one" soon. Stirling
NATO Allied Land Command, the alliance’s new headquarters in charge
of land force planning, officially activated Friday at its new home in
Izmir, Turkey.
“Turkey has been essential to the effectiveness and
viability of NATO since it joined the Alliance because of its geography
and its very large military contribution,” U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Frederick
“Ben” Hodges, the new commander of the headquarters, said during the
ceremony in Izmir. His comments were made available by the headquarters
public affairs office. “It is not an accident that NATO decided to
put Land Command here,” Hodges said, according to the remarks provided.
“Rather, it represents recognition by all 28 Nations of Turkey’s
strategic importance to NATO.”
Netanyahu brushes off world condemnation of settlement plans ~ link ~ Of course he does. This man is the one who will begin the Third World War that will kill 2/3 of the human race!!! Stirling
Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu on Sunday brushed off world condemnation of Israel's
plans to expand Jewish settlements after the Palestinians won de
facto U.N. recognition of statehood.
"We will carry on building in Jerusalem and in all the
places that are on the map of Israel's strategic interests," a
defiant Netanyahu said at the weekly cabinet meeting.
India sets off for Naval Showdown with China ~ link ~ The globalists are setting up a China-Japan War Theater to WWIII and also a China/Pakistan-India War Theater, among others. This can only make 'sense' to someone who is totally under demonic influence. Stirling
As if global geopolitics were not tempestuous enough, it seems China's
increased military presence near Indian state-run explorer Oil and
Natural Gas Corp's (ONGC) Nam Con Son basin operations near Vietnam are sparking India's navy into action. India's Navy Chief Joshi according to Reuters, said it was prepared to act, if necessary, to protect its maritime and economic interests in the region. He added that "When
the requirement is there, for example, in situations where our
country's interests are involved, for example ONGC... we will be
required to go there and we are prepared for that." While the
Straits of Hormuz seem to get most of the world's attention, the growing
trouble in the South China Sea is troubling since it "is one of the most important international waterways
and freedom of navigation there is an issue of utmost concern to
India," because a large portion of India's trade is through the South
China Sea. Noting that the modernization of China's Navy is "truly
impressive", Joshi concluded: "...are we preparing for it? Are we having exercises of that nature? The short answer is yes!" The Chinese are not making any friends as The Phillippines also condemned China's actions.
Bank of England's Andy Haldane finds impact of Central Bank policies as bad as a "world war" ~ link ~ Actually we are in the economic phase of the Third World War now. Stirling
Those curious why Goldman Sachs felt compelled to undertake a quiet an
unexpected by most (if not us) peaceful coup of the Bank of England, it
is because the oldest central bank still has among its ranks people
such as Andy Haldane, who in a world populated by deranged textbook
economists who don't understand that it is the central bank policies' fault the world will be forever mired in substandard growth and soaring unemployment, is a lone voice of reason (recall BOE's Andy Haldane Channels Zero Hedge, Reveals The Liquidity Mirage And The Collateral Crunch).
And since the BOE has no choice but to join all its peers in a global
race to the bottom (largely futile in a world in which currencies exist
in a closed loop, and in which if everyone devalues, nobody devalues
as even Bill Gross figured out yesterday),
it is prudent to listen to Haldane's warnings while he is still in the
employ of Her Majesty the Queen. Such as his latest one, in which he
says that the scale of the loss of income and output as a result of the
crisis started by the banks was as damaging as a "world war."
Record lows as winter freeze grips Sweden ~ link ~ A new record low for the winter was set on Saturday
morning in northern Sweden as the mercury plunged to -33.5 degrees
Celsius following heavy overnight snowfalls across eastern areas of the
country.
Russia scrambles to cope with monster snowfall ~ link ~ Also see ~ link ~ Traffic was backed up for as much as 200 kilometers along the Rossiya federal highway connecting Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Authorities had set up feeding stations along the route to help get food to stranded travelers.
Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov was reportedly controlling the recovery efforts and was touring the stricken area by helicopter.
