 Lord Stirling's News Blog EUROPE

Holy Shroud of Turin

It appears that there will be a truce going into effect tonight, Gaza time.  Let's pray and hope that it works.  The major western powers (US, UK, France, Germany) made it clear to Netanyahu that they opposed an invasion of Gaza.   Stirling

Egypt claims raids to end - Death toll 121 in Gaza ~ link ~ Fresh exchange of fire between Israel and Hamas continued unabated amid intensified international diplomatic efforts, with Egypt saying that Israeli “aggression” would end today, as a week of incessant raids claimed at least 121 Palestinian lives.

A loud boom was heard in Jerusalem with the Israeli police and army saying a rocket had crashed into an open area near Gush Etzion. No casualties were reported.

An Israeli airstrike on Gaza City today killed at least five people and took the death toll of Palestinians to 121. Eleven Hamas rockets came flying into the Israeli city of Beer Sheva, causing casualties. More than 30 rockets were fired into the area today, but most were destroyed by Iron Dome interceptors. Israel's air force dropped leaflets across Gaza City that asked people to evacuate their homes “immediately”.

Gaza Crisis: Israel to end attacks says Egypt's Mursi ~ linkEgyptian President Mohammed Mursi, who is leading mediation efforts between Hamas and Israel, says he expects Israel to end attacks on Gaza shortly.

A Hamas spokesman told the BBC a truce would come into effect late on Tuesday, following six days of Israeli air strikes and rocket attacks from Gaza.

Israel says it has put plans for a land invasion of Gaza on hold. But it has also told villagers in north, south and east of Gaza to move to central areas for their own safety.

Israel has not achieved in Gaza its military goals ~ link ~ Hamas Political Bureau Chief Khaled Meshaal says the Israeli regime has failed to achieve its goals in the military operation against the blockaded Gaza Strip.

Israeli airstrikes hit Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza ~ link ~ A fresh Israeli airstrike hits Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip as the Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli offensive on the enclave rises to 131.

Several women and children have been also wounded in the latest Israeli attacks on the populated coastal sliver.

Egypt's Morsi: 'Farce of Israeli aggression against Gaza will end today' ~ link ~ The “farce” of Israeli aggression will end on Tuesday, Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi said, expressing certainty that Israelis and Palestinians will shortly reach a ceasefire.

“The efforts to reach a ceasefire between the Palestinians and Israelis will produce positive results within a few hours," state news agency Mena quoted Morsi as saying.
However, President Morsi did not provide any evidence or cite any sources to support his assertions.

World has put up with Zionist apartheid for too long ~ link ~ Amen to that!!!  Stirling

Israel’s holocaust of innocents in Gaza has not sated the blood lust of its Zionist rulers, with the death toll rising to over 110 and the injured numbering more than a thousand – less than six days after the latest murderous offensive began.

Breaking the filibuster: Russia to propose UN resolution on Gaza crisis ~ linkRussia is ready to propose a full resolution aimed at stopping the violence between Israel and Gaza if the West continues to “filibuster” the UN Security Council statement on the crisis.

“Russia is ready… to submit a draft resolution focusing on three key components,” Russia’s envoy to the UN, Vitaly Churkin told the UN Security Council during consultations on the Gaza conflict arranged at Russia’s initiative.

Morocco proposed a statement calling for a halt to the hostilities last Thursday and since then diplomats have had enough time to present their amendments in writing, Churkin said. “The fact that they introduced these amendments orally… after three days of having the Moroccan text at their disposal, they could, at least, have prepared their amendments in writing,” he said. “To me it unfortunately looks like a little bit of a filibuster attempt.”

Israeli Psychopath ~ link ~ Hamid Abu Daqqa was playing football in his Real Madrid shirt when he was shot through the stomach by IDF troops several weeks ago. This was significant for the Palestinians and the wider Middle East, but not for anyone else. Not a single UK broadcaster knows his name. But do they know Muhammad al-Hums, Ranan Arafat, Omar Mashharawi, Isam Abu al-Miza, Hiba Mashharawi Turk, Mahmoud Abu Sawawin, Marwan Abu al-Qumsan, Walid Abadla, Hanin Tafish, Faris Basyouni, or Muhammad Iyad Sadallah? These are but a small sample of the children, pregnant women and elderly Palestinians killed in recent days by Israel. Not a single UK broadcaster knows a single one of these names.

Anyone with an internet connection can hear live feed of the airjets, drones and helicopter fighters strafing the Gaza sky. If you want the sonic experience of airborne death, it's available to you. Not a single UK broadcaster will trouble you with it. Anyone can see the pictures of the destroyed buildings, of ambulances wrecked. But not courtesy of a UK broadcaster. Anyone can find out how many of Gaza's ambulances were actually functioning before the bombing began, because the blockade has led to fuel shortages. But you would have to seek this out on your own initiative, because a UK broadcaster will never tell you. You can find out how frequently a thunderous explosion would strike nearby if you were in a densely populated area of Gaza - roughly every fifteen minutes. That's four times an hour you would narrowly miss death, without even leaving your house. You could work out how much sleep it's possible to get with that on your mind. You can find out from Paul Danahar of the BBC that half of the casualties taken to Shifa hospital from the last aerial attack in the north of Gaza city are children - but ironically not from the BBC. You have to look at his Twitter account to find this out. You can find out how Palestinians are coping - families of seven moving into single rooms, avoiding exposure as far as possible, huddling together for an illusory sense of security, waiting to see if they'll be the next smoking crater with an English-speaking journalist standing next to it. Not a single UK broadcaster will tell you this, but you can find out.

West Savages Gaza - Slowly Burns Syria ~ linkAll done for the Global Banking Cartel and the Zionists.  Which together constitute way less than .001% of the human race!!!   Stirling
Even as nations like Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt protest the Western-backed and facilitated destruction of Gaza by Israel, they, along with these very Western nations they protest, including Israel, continue coordinating efforts with each other to topple and destroy Syria.

Weapons and aid that many Arabs would like to see sent to defend Gaza, are instead in the hands of terrorists killing fellow Arabs across the Levant in the pursuit of long-ago articulated US-Israeli-Saudi plans to reshape the Middle East for their collective hegemonic ambitions.

How Israel shattered Gaza truce leading to escalating death and tragedy: A timeline ~ link

Israel killed the top Gaza/Hamas official working to prevent rocket attacks ~ link

Israeli aggression: Dress rehearsal for Iran ~ linkGaza may be prelude to what's planned. Perhaps strategy and tactics are being tested. In all Israeli wars, so are new weapons. Israel uses illegal ones freely. Victims sustain horrific injuries. Many are killed outright or don't survive.

Hostilities against Gaza continue aggressively. Overnight Sunday into early Monday, over 80 targets were struck. Since November 15, about 1,400 were attacked.

The official death toll passed 100. Perhaps double that number died. Many are buried under rubble. Over 700 were injured. For many, it's serious. Others are maimed for life. Some are so badly hurt they won't survive. Civilians are willfully targeted. Over half of Al Shifa Hospital casualties are children and infants. Medical staff are hard-pressed. They can't properly handle the growing case load.

Vital medications and other supplies are being exhausted. What's enough for a week or longer is consumed in a few hours. If conflict persists, treating seriously injured patients won't be possible.

IDF warns Gaza civilians: Leave Immediately ~ link ~ What total evil bullshit...they HAVE NOWHERE TO GO TO!!!   All 1.7 million of them.    Stirling

Bloodlust in Israel: 'Flatten Gaza, send it back to Middle Ages, they need to die' ~ link ~ This current Gaza War confirms what I and many have noticed about the modern Israeli state: They can dish it out but they cannot take it!   A few rockets do actual damage, kill a handful of people and the Israelis are wetting their pants.  The Gaza people put up that level of crap ALL THE TIME and tough it out.  Stirling

Israel cannot survive in peace, is reliant on conflict - with video ~ link ~ Press TV has conducted an interview with Mark Glenn of the Crescent & Cross Solidarity Movement, from Coeur d'Alene, to further discuss the issue. Glenn is joined by Adie Mormech, a human rights activist from Gaza, and Richard Weitz, the director of the Center for Political-Military Analysis at the Hudson Institute, from Washington.

How the banksters ran WWII and played everyone for fools ~ link ~ After the war, Gehlen, who headed the BND (West German Intelligence Agency) was able to confirm Bormann's treason. "During the 1950's, I was passed two separate reports from behind the Iron Curtain to the effect that Bormann had been a Soviet agent...'

The fact that Hitler shielded Bormann confirms that he also was an active traitor. Both served the Illuminati (Masonic) bankers, i.e. the Rothschild syndicate, based in London. The Illuminati were also behind Stalin and Communism, not to mention Churchill, and FDR.

By fabricating war, the Illuminati wage war on humanity with the ultimate goal of a veiled world government dictatorship.

Think 9-11, "The Patriot Act," the TSA.  Behind the veil of democracy and fighting "terror," they are constructing a police state.
Europe is now sinking fast ~ linkWith the Eurozone having being displaced from the financial headlines by the American presidential election, you might have briefly thought that its problems had gone away. They haven’t.

It’s just that the public is expected to absorb one major story at a time. And now that the presidential election is done and dusted, Europe is rapidly returning to the headlines. This is not desired by the powers-that-be, who desperately need us to believe things will get better with a little patience.
Behind the scenes, in order to prevent a systemic crisis, the authorities (through the European Central Bank) have been hard at work keeping a lid on interest rates for Spain and Italy, which act as everyone’s market bellweather. Their strategy focuses on the hope that high bond yields are just a lack of 'animal spirits' – and if only they can be reignited!
Time is working against all countries in the Eurozone because the good are being dragged down by the bad.

Dollar collapse: 7 of 10 Asian nations turn to Yuan ~ link ~ A “renminbi bloc” has been formed in East Asia, as nations in the region abandon the US dollar and peg their currency to the Chinese yuan — a major signal of China’s successful bid to internationalize its currency, a research report has said.

The Peterson Institute for International Economics, or PIIE, said in its latest research that China has moved closer to its long-term goal for the renminbi to become a global reserve currency.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership: This is what corporate governance looks like ~ linkIn 2008, the United States Trade Representative Susan Schwab announced the U.S. entry into the Trans-Pacific Partnership talks as “a pathway to broader Asia-Pacific regional economic integration.” Originating in 2005 as a “Strategic Economic Partnership” between a few select Pacific countries, the TPP has, as of October 2012, expanded to include 11 nations in total: the United States, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Chile, New Zealand, Australia, Brunei, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia, with the possibility of several more joining in the future.

Greece imposes spending controls to appease lenders ~ linkAthens said the decrees - in addition to an austerity package passed this month - completed its obligations to lenders before Tuesday's Eurogroup meeting, which it hopes will unlock more aid to stave off bankruptcy.

"We have delivered, fulfilling the final pledges we made," Greek government spokesman Simos Kedikoglou told Reuters.

The government decrees - which go into force immediately and do not require parliamentary approval - stipulate proceeds from privatization go into a special escrow account and impose automatic cuts on public sector units that miss budget targets.

55 Reasons why you should buy products that are made in America this Holiday Season ~ link Do take the time to read this one at the link.   Stirling

This is the time of the year when Americans run out to their favorite retail stores and fill up their shopping carts with lots of cheap plastic crap made by workers in foreign countries where it is legal to pay slave labor wages.  By doing this, the American people are actively participating in the destruction of the U.S. economy.  You see, buying products that are made in America is not just a matter of national pride.  It is a matter of national survival.  If we do not support American workers, they are going to continue to see their jobs shipped out of the country.  If we do not support American businesses, they are going to continue to die off at a staggering rate.  Last year, the United States had a trade deficit with the rest of the world of 558 billion dollars.  More than half a trillion dollars that could have gone into the pockets of U.S. workers and U.S. businesses went overseas instead.  If that money had stayed in the country, taxes would have been paid on that mountain of cash and our local, state and federal government debt problems would not be as severe.  As a result of our massive trade imbalance, we have lost tens of thousands of businesses, millions of jobs and trillions of dollars of national wealth.  Both major political parties have sold us out on these issues, and we are getting poorer as a nation with each passing day.  We desperately need a resurgence of economic patriotism in the United States before it is too late.

Yes, I know that it is very tempting to buy foreign-made products.  After all, they are almost always cheaper.
But most people don't often think about why they are cheaper.

Unfortunately, in the name of "free trade" American workers have been merged into a global labor pool where they have to compete directly for jobs with workers on the other side of the globe that live in countries where it is legal to pay slave labor wages.  This makes employing American workers a tremendous liability.

If a company hires you and pays you 10 to 15 dollars an hour with benefits, how is it going to compete with another company that pays workers a dollar an hour with no benefits on the other side of the planet?

People are afraid right now - You can see it in their eyes ~ link ~ Cities from coast-to-coast are facing unprecedented budget deficits that have left government officials with no choice but to strip police forces to a bare minimum. We now regularly hear about new ‘records’ being broken in the resulting crime waves that follow.

Law enforcement officials in Chicago, for example, have said that their city has deteriorated into a domestic war zone with gang violence leaving scores of people dead on a regular basis. Murder, rape, robbery and assault have skyrocketed in bankrupt Stockton, California, suggesting that local governments are quickly losing control.

In New Jersey, the city of Camden may soon be granted the dubious distinction of being the poorest and most violent city in America.
