Has the US given Israel a Green Light to Attack Syria ~ link ~ Yes, but as events of the last week have shown, the IDF will NOT do so regardless of what the political leadership of the Netanyahu government wants/says/orders.  They, like all the former intelligence chiefs and military officers who have come out against the Netanyahu war plans, know damn good and well that Israel will be destroyed in any General Middle East War.   That it will destroy its enemies but will be destroyed as well itself.  Since most of these people are rational and sane and very pro-Israel they have made the right decision.  However, with the power of the globalists, and of course Satan himself, behind them, it is simply a matter of time before Israel/America/NATO and the GCC nations do a 'work-around' the 'IDF problem' and begin World War III.    Stirling
Is Washington giving Israel a green light to attack Syria as a consolation prize for delaying an attack against Iran? Certainly, overthrowing the Asad government has become an obsession in Washington. The road to Tehran runs through Damascus, chant US neoconservatives and many bellicose Republicans.
Further raising the temperature, Turkey is threatening to occupy a heavily Kurdish chunk of northern Syria which it claims is being used to launch attacks into Turkey. Why Turkey is thinking about acquiring more rebellious Kurds when it can’t handle its own remains unclear. But formerly neutral Turkey is getting more deeply involved each day in Syria, arming and supplying anti-Asad rebels and now rumbling about "security zones" on the border. Ankara’s machinations in Syria threaten to undo much of the success of its former "no problems" policy with its neighbors.

Preventing More Middle East Wars Tops All Priorities ~ link ~ If you are sane, rational and have even an once of morality or common sense it does.  However, Satan blinds people, especially his minions.  So you have many in the Global Banking Cartel families, and many senior political whores in Israel, America, UK, France, and elsewhere who think just the opposite, no matter how crazy or evil it is.  Take the time to read all of this good article at the link.  Stirling
Washington's dirty hands control regional belligerence. Longstanding policy unleashed a regional bloodbath. It advances America's imperium. Willing partners include NATO and Middle East allies. They're serial killers for their own self-interest. Post-9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya were ravaged. Destroying Syria is underway. Expect Iran and other targeted states to follow.

A previous article discussed Canadian psychiatrist Robert Hare. He describes psychopathic behavior clinically. Administration and congressional leaders exhibit prominent features.
They're amoral, unethical, deceitful, and manipulative. They breach social and legal standards. They suffer no remorse. They're callously unconcerned about others. They're indifferent to human suffering. They're "without conscience." Their agenda is global conquest and dominance. They're clinically insane. They're psychopathic.

Syrian Kurdish Official: Now Kurds are in charge of their fate ~ link ~ Assad has repaid the Turks for all the trouble that they have helped bring to his nation by granting his Kurds autonomy.  This will dramatically increase military trouble for Turkey with its Kurdish population.   Like I have said before, the old saying "Payback is a Bitch" is the case here.  However, that saying is a two-edged sword.   Stirling

Kurdish Supreme Committee in Syria holds first meeting ~ link ~ The Supreme Committee issued a statement emphasizing the importance of preserving peace through cooperation with the Arab and Christian minorities in the Kurdish areas.

The statement continued: “The demands for the legitimate rights of the Kurdish people in Syria do not represent any threat to the unity of Syria nor threaten other components of Syrian society who we consider our partners.”

Welcome to the Kurdish Spring ~ link ~ This could prove to be a massive 'wild card' event, on a par with the Kaiser sending Lenin to Russia in a sealed train.  It ended up bringing not only the Emperor of Russia down but the Kaiser and many others as well.    Stirling

Turkish foreign policy, codified by Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, used to be known in shorthand as "zero problems with our neighbors". When Turkey started calling for regime change in Syria, it turned into "a major problem with one of our neighbors" (even tough Davutoglu himself admitted on the record the policy change failed).

Now, in yet another twist, it's becoming "all sorts of problems with two of our neighbors". Enter - inevitably - Ankara's ultimate taboo; the Kurdish question.

Russia's top admiral: Russia to keep Tartus base - with video ~ link ~ He said that there were ten Russian warships and ten support ships in the Mediterranean now, as part of planned maneuvers announced last year.
Anatoly Tsyganok, head of the Military Forecast Center, echoes that with tension mounting around Syria and military intervention not altogether unlikely, the Russian base in Tartus acquires vital geopolitical significance. "If Russia loses that base, it will have nowhere in the Mediterranean to fuel or repair its ships. The moment Russia loses the Tartus base, it will also lose Syria. Consequently, and I deem it quite possible, military actions against Iran may begin. That scenario will create very complicated problems for Russian troops stationed in the Caucasus. Therefore, and it should be admitted frankly, when we talk about Syria, we talk about Iran and the Russian troops in the Caucasus."

Iran begins stockpiling a three-month food supply ~ link ~ War is coming and they damn well know it!  Do yourself a vital favor, stockpile as much food and water and important supplies as possible.   Stirling

The Manufactured "Debt" Crisis ~ link ~ Good One!  Take the time to read it all at the link.  Also see: The Few Banks That Own All ~ link ~ Stirling

"Well, the truth is that this is not a liquidity crisis.  If it was, the central banks could flood the system with money and solve the problem. No, what Europe is facing is an insolvency crisis.  There is way, way too much debt in the system and it is inevitable that an "adjustment" is going to happen."
What nonsense!

In the first place,  all the major banks own each other. They also control or outright own the Central Banks. Even BIS is a private corporation.
It's just one massive cartel and monopoly.

So we ask: if my right hand owes to my left and he can't pay up, do I go to my neighbor to bail out my right hand? Or do I, as the owner of both, just cross off this debt? Huh? Get it? Instead, the bankers are using the "debt" as a pretext to squeeze the populace.

Senator Bernie Sanders calls the Federal Reserve "Socialism for the Rich" after $16 Trillion secret bail-outs, including foreign banks ~ link ~ I like Senator Sanders because of his policies.  He is one of the few good people in the "District of Criminals" (Washington, DC).  He is also a 'Sanders' and they are a branch of Clan Alexander, which I am Chief of.   Stirling

"Greece cannot be saved, that is simple mathematics" ~ link ~ Actually Greece and the rest of us can be saved...kick out the central banksters, throw them in prison, and run things responsibly for the good of the people instead of a hyper-tiny minority of crooks.   Stirling

Paul Craig Roberts: From NAFTA to the Collapse of the Bubble Economy ~ link ~  Really GOOD ONE!  Take the time to read it all at the link.   Stirling

Obama continued this NAFTA style de-industrialization policy by giving General Motors 21 billion dollars to send the Cadillac and Chevy Volt plants to China, Brazil and eastern Europe. He wants to pass the Trans-Pacific Treaty that would allow international bodies to be foreign corporation to be exempted from American health, environmental and labor laws while keeping small businesses under the grip of regulators determined to bankrupt both them and family owned farms. A union recently picketed Obama at one of his many fundraisers to protest this treaty. It was to no avail. Because workers with declining wages can no longer donate money here is no justice for them.  Obama is Obama. He is not a traditional Democrat.

Paul Craig Roberts argues that with no productive economy left that actually makes things people can use we have no way of investing and making money except to participate in an endless series of Bubbles offered by Wall Street. First there was the Dot Com Bubble in which stocks with no real financial worth or even a business plan that made sense were selling at astronomical prices. It was understood that Alan Greenspan and the Federal Reserve would keep stock market prices high and bond prices low. The FED intervened by creating money to keep bond prices high which also allows rampant speculation with low interest rates. After the Dot Com Bubble collapsed, Wall Street sent us into the Mortgage Backed Securities fraud.

Will political reform occur in the United States only after a catastrophe? ~ link ~ The 2012 election is the most important in U.S. history, but not for the reasons either the Republican or Democrat Parties would have you believe because there is little difference between them.
They seek to win elections, not to uphold the Constitution, not to show respect for the rule of law and not to serve the American people, but to obtain power and to use that power to accrue career and financials benefits for themselves and their major supporters.

Mitt Romney does not offer a significant change from the political status quo. So far, the most accurate slogan for his campaign seems to be: "I'm not the other guy."

The real issue of the 2012 is whether or not the American people will endorse permanent political corruption in Washington, D.C. by voting for the status quo presently represented by the Republican and Democrat Parties.

Top Ten GMO Foods to Avoid ~ link ~ It’s important to note that steering clear from these foods completely may be difficult, and you should merely try finding other sources than your big chain grocer.

If produce is certified USDA-organic, it’s non-GMO (or supposed to be!) Also, seek out local farmers and booths at farmer’s markets where you can be ensured the crops aren’t GMO. Even better, if you are so inclined: Start organic gardening
and grow them yourself.

Mr. Alexander,

You have made it very clear to
us that you love "Ave Maria".
And I am one whose life you
have enormously enriched by
posting links to some beautiful
renditions of "Ave Maria" on
your website.

I am hoping to return the kindness.

A couple of days ago, I happened
upon a recording of 17 different
"Ave Maria"s, written by some of
the finest composers in history.
Among them are Bach/Gounod,
Schubert, Verdi, Bruckner, Luzzi,
Saint-Saens, and Villa-Lobos.

Here are two links for you:

http://www.leonarda.com/le341.html

http://www.leonarda.com/musicians/perf341.html

The first will take you to the page for the album, where you can
see the list of composers, and even
listen to three short samples.

The second link will take you to a
biography of the sublimely-gifted,
Armenian-born coloratura soprano,
Ellada Chakoyan, whose exquisite
performances of these marvelous
works are sure to bring an
occasional tear to your eye, and an
occasional chill to your spine.

If Ms. Chakoyan's performances
enriche your collection of "Ave
Maria"s, and your life, I hope you
will let me know.

I have recently completed the
composition of my own version of
"Ave Maria", and perhaps one of
these days I could see that you
are one of the first to receive a
recording of it.
