Warning: Possible NATO-FSA False Flag Attack on Syria ~ link ~ This is what I have been saying for a couple of days now. Stirling
Libya's arsenal had fallen into the hands of sectarian extremists with NATO assistance last year in the culmination of efforts to overthrow the government there. Since then, Libya's militants led by commanders of Al Qaeda's Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) have armed sectarian extremists across the Arab World, from as far West as Mali, to as far East as Syria.

German opposition threatens to scuttle ESM and Spanish bailout ~ link ~ Gradually, the key open items from yesterday's Spanish bailout are getting some closure. First, we learned that Ireland, as speculated, will demand a comparable retroactive bailout renegotiation, an act which also puts the Greek elections a week from today in play. Then, we got definitive confirmation that the Spanish loan, coming at ~3% or half Spanish GGBs, is a priming loan, subordinating existing creditors. Finally, we learn that the ESM - the bailout mechanism at the heart of all current and future European bailout plans, and which still has not been ratified by Germany, is in danger of being scuttled by none other than the German opposition. The reason? According to a Reuters report, "A [Spiegel] report that German Chancellor Angela Merkel is not serious about implementing a European financial transaction tax threatens to undermine an initial deal struck last week with the opposition over the EU's planned fiscal pact... The Social Democrats (SPD) and Greens are insisting on a plan for a transaction tax and measures to boost growth."
Two proposed US Constitutional Admendments: Make government debt illegal and no fractional reserve banking ~ link ~ That would take a revolution to happen, but it is absolutely necessary for the long-term survival of the nation. Stirling
It's still Garbage In - Garbage Out Time on Wall Street ~ link ~ Four years ago in 2008, the “computer models” which had made the big investment banks huge piles of money turned around and savaged them as the entire credit system froze up. The programmers who had installed the trading software on the computers of the traders had never seen such a thing so they made no provision for it. The problem then and the problem now is that without the capability of computers and their “models”, most of the methods of modern market trading would simply not be possible. The vast majority of all trading is done via computers. The most popular of these methods, “high frequency trading”, did not get properly started until late 1999, just as the markets were peaking. The most recent surveys show that in the US, high frequency traders represent 2 percent of all financial trading firms but contribute almost 75 percent of market volume. All of this is ENTIRELY dependent on computers.
