Spaniards protest violence, budget cuts ~ link ~
Thousands of Spaniards have poured onto the streets in the city of Valencia to protest against police brutality and education spending cuts.

The protesters on Wednesday marched behind a large banner that read, "We are the people, not the enemy" during the fifth day of demonstrations against the police violence and the budget cuts in central Valencia as a police helicopter flew overhead.

On Monday, baton-wielding riot police charged a protest against the budget cuts, beating the demonstrators and leaving several people bleeding. Dozens of others, including minors, were arrested.

Political parties, unions and educational institutions, and citizens have called for a demonstration Wednesday in Valencia. They demand the resignation of the government delegate in the Region, Paula Sánchez de León, and the chief of police, Antonio Moreno.

This comes a day after tens of thousands of people poured into the streets of Spanish cities to demand the authorities put an end to police brutality against students from Valencia. The thousands-strong protest was held near the Luis Vives institute in Valencia, with parents joining students and schoolchildren.

Thousands of people across the nation showed their support to students of Valencia by staging protests in their home towns.

Due to austerity measures some Greeks might have to pay for their jobs ~ link ~ You simply cannot make this stuff up.  The banksters are doing all they can to royally screw the Greek people...I suspect that they want them to revolt as part of their overall strategic plan for the New World Order.   Stirling

Salary cutbacks (called "unified payroll") for contract workers at the public sector set to be finalized today. Cuts to be valid retroactively since november 2011. Expected result: Up to 64.000 people will work without salary this month, or even be asked to return money. Amongst them 21.000 teachers, 13.000 municipal employees and 30.000 civil servants.

There is a conspiracy to destroy Greece ~ link ~
Renowned Greek author and politician and songwriter Mikis Theodorakis says there is a conspiracy to destroy his country with ‘unemployment, hunger and misery’.

The recent dramatic events in Greece over its debt crisis have revealed an emerging spirit of resistance within the Greek population, a clear example of whom is 87 year-old Theodorakis, who fought the Nazi occupation during the World-War II.

Theodorakis says the Greece economic catastrophe is the result of the enormous purchasing of war materials from foreign countries. “Germans, for instance, as well as the French, English and Americans, earned billions of Euros from annual sales of war materials, to the detriment of our national wealth,” he says.

Cherie Blair to sue News International over phone hacking ~ link ~ She is an attorney, a Barrister in England, and was willing to sue her husband's government on my behalf over the issue of changing my titles succession to include females etc...but after thinking about it, I felt that I would just be putting money on their table for his crooked government's actions and I declined to hire her.  See my book, CASH FOR PEERAGES: THE SMOKING GUN ~ link

Turkey and China helping Iran evade UN sanctions ~ link ~In an attempt to escape the effects of the wide-ranging sanctions imposed over Iran's illegal nuclear programme, Iran's central bank is using a number of financial institutions in China and Turkey to fund the purchase of vital goods to keep the Iranian economy afloat.

According to Western security officials China, which is Iran's largest oil trading partner, is playing a major role in helping Iran to avoid the sanctions. Instead of transferring payments to Iran owed from oil purchases, Chinese banks are using the money to buy goods on behalf of the Iranians and then shipping them to Iran.
