The Early Stages of the General Middle East War have already begun with the foreign based military operations against Syria and the Oil Embargo against Iran and other related embargoes against both Syria and Iran. When and how this will continue to expend, including into an all-out military-style engagement involving weapons of mass destruction, is something that time will tell. We can, however, be sure that the engagement is 'on' and will continue to expand in the days/weeks/months ahead.

War on Iran: It's NOT a Matter of "If" ~ link ~ The War is on, it is just not a shooting war in the Strait of Hormuz yet, but has been a shooting war for some months in Syria. Stirling
As with sanctions and covert military onslaughts on Iraq in the run up to 2003, the first point to underline is that the US is waging war on Iran. But well aware of the US public’s aversion to yet another war in the Middle East, the onslaught is an undeclared one.
The analogy here is the run up to Pearl Harbor. Let me quote from a useful timeline. On October 7, 1940, a US Navy IQ analyst Arthur McCollum wrote an 8 point memo on how to force Japan into war with US. Beginning the next day FDR began to put them into effect and all 8 were eventually accomplished.
War of Attrition with Iran brewing over Gulf Oil routes ~ link ~ The EU Oil Embargo is an Act of War that Iran cannot afford to ignore, nor can Iran allow its key ally Syria be militarily defeated in the armed conflict that continues to grow within Syria. This will take a number of twists and turns, some unexpected, in the days to come. This is an interesting article, worth the time to read it all at the link. Stirling
Washington's "War of Sanctions" against Iran ~ link ~ In the long run, Western oil firms and consumers may “emerge the biggest losers.” The IMF has predicted that crude oil prices could rise up to 30 percent namely to over USD 140 per barrel if Iran ever decided to retaliate by halting its oil exports altogether.
The Elephant in the Living Room ~ link ~ Well, how blatant, how in our face, does it have to be before the elephant on the sofa is acknowledged for what it is? Rothschild Zionism is leading the world into yet another war and this time with the serious potential to explode into a third global conflict - what they have long sought to engineer.

Why Ron Paul is Unlikely to Become President - But Needs to Be President ~ link ~ This is a good article, one that I recommend. Stirling
In my belief, the powers that be have two very justified fears if Dr. Paul were to win.
Yet the banks now browbeat governments – not by having ready cash but by threatening to go bust and drag the economy down with them if they are not given control of public tax policy, spending and planning. The process has gone furthest in the United States. Joseph Stiglitz characterizes the Obama administration’s vast transfer of money and pubic debt to the banks as a “privatizing of gains and the socializing of losses. It is a ‘partnership’ in which one partner robs the other.” Prof. Bill Black describes banks as becoming criminogenic and innovating “control fraud.” High finance has corrupted regulatory agencies, falsified account-keeping by “mark to model” trickery, and financed the campaigns of its supporters to disable public oversight. The effect is to leave banks in control of how the economy’s allocates its credit and resources.
