What in the world has happened to the United States?  Once upon a time the U.S. was one of the best places in the world to raise a child, but today it is an absolutely horrible place for children.  We physically abuse our children at staggering rates, we pump them full of antidepressants and other pharmaceutical drugs and we send them off to public schools that more closely resemble prison camps every single day.  Meanwhile, the economic decline of the America is hitting children far harder than it is hitting the adult population.  More than one out of every five children in America is living in poverty and one out of every four children is on food stamps.  One of the ways that a society is judged is by how it treats its most vulnerable members.  As you will see below, the way that children are treated in America today is absolutely shameful.

The following are 30 signs that America has become a horrible place for children....

 

 

Scientists Sequence Black Death Bacteria DNA ~ link ~ link ~ There is a medical debate if all waves of "Black Death", which killed between 1/2 and 2/3 of Europeans off in the Middle Ages, were really Yersinia pestis bacteria based.  Some experts feel that at least some waves of the "plague" were really an unknown viral hemorrhagic fever.  One recent dig established that there were very few dead rats (which if it were Yersinia pestis based one would expect to see lots of dead rats), and records of the time seem to indicate a very rapid airborne human-to-human transmission.  However, this study (the one linked here) falls on the side of those experts who feel that some version of Yersinia pestis was totally responsible.   In any case, the use of Advanced Biological Warfare, which is very likely to happen in the near future, is an insane strategy.  World War III, with all the 21st Century weapons-of-mass destruction (nuclear and radiological, advanced biowar, scalar war, etc.), is apt to be an Extinction Level Event for the Human Race.  Stirling     

America's Secret Libya War ~ link ~ The American people need to fully wake up to the fact that mostly foreign based forces (Global Banking Cartel and Israel) are using our money, our blood, our future to make war on people that are not America's enemies and for reasons that are opposed to American values and security needs.   The same goes for all of NATO.  Stirling     

The U.S. military has spent about $1 billion so far and played a far larger role in Libya than it has acknowledged, quietly implementing an emerging "covert intervention" strategy that the Obama administration hopes will let America fight small wars with a barely detectable footprint. 

Officially, President Obama handed the lead role of ousting Muammar Gaddafi to the European members of NATO. For this he was criticized by Washington war hawks who suggested that Europeans working with a ragtag team of Libyan rebels was a recipe for stalemate, not victory. 

But behind the scenes, the U.S. military played an indispensable role in the Libya campaign, deploying far more forces than the administration chose to advertise. And at NATO headquarters outside Brussels, the U.S. was intimately involved in all decisions about how the Libyan rebels should be supported as they rolled up control of cities and oil refineries and marched toward the capital, Tripoli.

 

 

General Petraeus: Troop support must be top priority ~ link ~ I agree General.  The best way to support our troops would be to get them the hell out of unnecessary wars that are getting so many of them killed or wounded.  Stirling     

 

 

Science Gone Wrong: Bioengineered animal proteins used to make bulletproof humans ~ link ~ You simply cannot make this stuff up!  Stirling     

 

If certain crazy scientists have their way, we could eventually see some humans covered in skin that has been bioengineered with animal parts such as spider's silk and goat milk.

 

The "spidersilk vest" idea was taken a step further when researchers asked: why bother with only a vest if we can actually replace real human skin with bioengineered spidersilk protein? One Dutch researcher with the project, Jalila Essaidi, claimed the goal is to eventually replace keratin, the protein responsible for the toughness of our skin, with bioengineered spider's silk.

Most of the worst financial panics in history have happened in the fall.  Just recall what happened in 1929, 1987 and 2008.  Well, September 2011 is about to begin and there are all kinds of signs that the financial world is about to hit the big red panic button.  Wave after wave of bad economic news has come out of the United States recently, and Europe is embroiled in an absolutely unprecedented debt crisis.  At this point there is a very real possibility that the euro may not even survive.  So what is causing all of this?  Well, over the last couple of decades a gigantic debt bubble has fueled a tremendous amount of "fake prosperity" in the western world.  But for a debt bubble to keep going, the total amount of debt has to keep expanding at an ever increasing pace.  Unfortunately for the global economy, sources of credit are starting to dry up.  That is why you hear terms like "credit crisis" and "credit crunch" thrown around so much these days.  Without enough credit to feed the monster, the debt bubble is going to burst.  At this point, virtually the entire global economy runs on credit, so when this debt bubble bursts things could get really, really messy. 

 

Throughout the financial world right now there is a lot of fear.  Lending conditions have gotten very tight.  Financial institutions are not eager to lend money to each other or to anyone else.  This "credit crunch" is going to slow down the economy.  Just remember what happened back in 2008.  When easy credit stops flowing, the dominoes can start falling very quickly.

 

In any event, global financial markets are paralyzed by fear right now.  Nobody knows what is going to happen next, but many now fear that whatever does come next will not be good.

Fukushima is continually blasting all of us with high levels of Cesium, Strontium, and Plutonium and will slowly kill millions for years to come ~ link ~ In the last book of the Christian Bible, The Book of Revelation, it speaks of one-third of the world's population dying in Armageddon from "plague" (that would be Advanced Biowar) and another one-third dying from Wormwood (which is the name of a village in the Ukraine, where a nuclear reactor melted down, the Ukrainian name is Chernobyl).  World War III will supply sufficient "plague" and "wormwood" to kill us all.  The Bible says that, we would all die except for the return of Christ.  We can expect to see all of this.  Stirling

Israel sees Palestinian statehood bid a 'greater threat' than Hamas ~ link ~ The clock is really ticking on this one!  There are 3 weeks to go till the UN takes up the issue of Palestinian statehood.   If statehood is passed, much of what Israel does with respect to the 'occupied territories' will become war crimes under international law and this will open up many legal problems for Israel.  This is a nation that will do anything to protect itself, including totally crazy views of what is really a 'threat' to Israel.  Get ready for the month from Hell.  Stirling
