World War III Has Begun - It's the first Asymmetric War long awaited by Pentagon Think Tanks ~ link ~ This is a most interesting article. However, I disagree that events will remain totally asymmetrical. That is way too one-sided of an strategic analysis for me. Currently events are clearly asymmetrical warfare, however, events will soon become a cornucopia of asymmetrical and symmetrical warfare and then move onto more symmetrical Twenty-first Century warfare with horrific death numbers. Iran test-fires state-of-the-art torpedoes - with video ~ link ~ The Iranians have fired some of their domestic copies of the Russian VA-111 Shkval supercavitation (rocket) torpedo. The Iranian version is named the Hoot, which means Whale. This is one very nasty weapon, it produces a bubble of hot gas in front of the 'torpedo' and the weapon actually flies through the bubble. In a sense, it has thrust on both ends; just enough in the front to produce the bubble constantly during its 'run to target', but a powerful rear thrust. In effect, it is a underwater missile! It is several times faster than any normal torpedo. Officially, the US Navy does not have a good defense against this. But I suspect that our boys have not been asleep on this one. If one to several are fired at a ship, unless they are decoyed away or destroyed in their 'run', they will blow the hell out of whatever they hit. However, they have to be placed within range, either by a sub, a surface ship, or by a aircraft (or in theory via a missile launch from shore or from a ship/sub/aircraft). This is one case of the Iranians having a true state-of-the-art weapon system that western navies do not yet have (at least publicly acknowledged to have). Stirling
On Saturday, December 24, Iran's Navy launched a massive 10-day Velayat 90 naval exercise, covering an area stretching from the east of the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Aden.
Different classes of submarines, including Tareq and Qadir, the newest ground-to-sea missile systems and torpedoes have been employed in the maneuvers.
Qatar builds Sunni Intervention Force of Libyan and Iraqi terrorists against Assad ~ link ~ Make no mistake, a General Middle East War is coming. That war will involved Weapons of Mass Destruction on all sides, will close the Strait of Hormuz and that will destroy what is left of the global economy. The war in the Middle East will almost certainly become a global war, the Third World War, Armageddon. It is designed to kill most of the World's population and to allow the globalists to restructure human society into their demonic slave-state, their long-sought New World Order. Stirling
On Saturday, Iran's Navy launched the massive 10-day “Velayat 90” naval exercise. The drill covers an area stretching from the east of the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Aden.
Iran's decision to close the Strait of Hormuz can fundamentally threaten the prospects of global oil exports, the Russian newspaper Nezavisimaya Gazeta said on Tuesday.
Marking the third anniversary of Israel's deadly attack on Gaza, the chief of staff of the Israeli military, Lt. General Benny Gantz, said on Tuesday that Tel Aviv will ''sooner or later'' need to launch a large-scale operation against Hamas, the democratically-elected ruler of Gaza because Tel Aviv is losing its grip on the coastal strip. Gantz said Operation Cast Lead, which Israel launched against Gaza on December 27, 2008 and lasted for three week, had a deterrent effect on Israeli security, in which cracks were starting to show over time, forcing Israel to launch another war. Gantz also said that Tel Aviv is looking for the right time to launch a military offensive against the Gaza Strip and that the new war ''must be initiated by Israel and must be swift and painful".
The Israeli regime waged a 22-day Christmas war on the densely populated coastal sliver in 2008 left more than 1,400 Palestinians dead including at least 300 children. The offensive also destroyed 4,000 houses and devastated a large portion of infrastructures in the blockaded strip. Israeli military forces also targeted UN-run schools and centers. More than 50,000 people were also displaced as a result of the three-week war. Tel Aviv also used internationally-banned weapons, including white phosphorus bombs, against the Gazans during the three-week war.
In Wall Street Journal's article, "Russia's Dubious Vote," the authors admit that "the analysis doesn't in itself prove fraud in Russia's Dec. 4 parliamentary elections." But the WSJ then cites "local and international observers," that corroborate their findings of "fraud" with claims of ballot-box stuffing, vote falsification, and other violations. The only organization WSJ is able to cite by name, however, is US National Endowment for Democracy (NED) funded GOLOS.
In, "US Caught Meddling in Russian Elections," GOLOS was noted as being the key "observer" cited across Western media in an attempt to portray the Russian elections as "stolen," a similar ploy that has been used throughout color revolutions since the 80s and in particular during the last year of US-backed destabilization also known as the "Arab Spring." However, GOLOS owes its existence to the US government and in turn the banking oligarchs of Wall Street and London who have been trying in vain to dislodge Russia's Vladimir Putin from power for years.
Iran has repeatedly warned that in the event of a military attack on the country, it will not hesitate in taking all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty one of which would be to close the strategic oil passage.
Earlier on Wednesday, Iran's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said, “Iran has total control over the strategic water way,” adding that, “Closing the Strait of Hormuz is very easy for Iranian naval forces.”
On Tuesday Iran's Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi also warned that not a drop of oil would be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz if sanctions are imposed against Iran's oil exports.
Iran's Navy is currently conducting a massive 10-day naval drill, codenamed “Velayat 90”, in an area stretching from the east of the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Aden.
Contrary to popular belief, TSA airport screeners are not law enforcement officers. In fact, as we have documented numerous times here at NaturalNews, TSA agents are perceived as having far more authority than they really have -- and some of them have abused this false perception to take advantage of the public.
The activists said on Tuesday that they would interrupt candidates at events and camp out at their Iowa campaign offices, saying they want to change the political dialogue.
Hundreds of Occupy activists from at least 10 states are expected to participate in a "People's Caucus" near the Iowa Capitol to plot activities between late December and the January 3 caucuses. Occupy activists say the caucuses are largely meaningless as the parties and candidates are overly influenced by the wealthy.
