Netanyahu's history lesson hints at Israeli strike on Iran   ~ link ~ I believe that Bibi 666 Netanyahu is the man who will light the fire on World War III.   Stirling
A day and a half after U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta warned of the dire circumstances an Israeli attack on Iran could lead to, and in the wake of similar warnings issued by former head of the Mossad Meir Dagan, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a comparison between the decision of Israel's first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion to declare the foundation of the state of Israel, and a decision he, Netanyahu, faced today.

Speaking at the annual memorial Ben-Gurion, Netanyahu said that "great statesmen as well as friends of the Jews and of Zionism" warned Ben-Gurion that declaring a Jewish state in 1948 would bring an invasion of Arab armies and a "grave and difficult battle," Netanyahu said.

Furious at latest US attack, Pakistan shuts down resupply routes to Afghanistan "Permanently" ~ link ~ This is a real 'game changer' and an opportunity for Russia to bargain 'big time' with America and NATO.  Russia has threatened to cut the northern resupply route into Afghanistan.  If Pakistan persists in cutting the southern resupply land routes and Russia cuts the northern resupply land routes, there is no way that the NATO/allied armies can remain in Afghanistan more than a month or so.  Air resupply cannot begin to bring in sufficient fuel and material.  Of course, there is talk that Pakistan may even cut overflights over its territory.  The corrupt Pakistan regime could extract some high "payments" to resend their decision; however, this last attack really pissed them off and struck at their sense of national dignity and they may will not be willing to accept any more US bribes.  What would Russia require to maintain its northern routes?  Perhaps a dismantling of the NATO anti-missile systems on its borders and perhaps an end to the expanding war on Syria and Iran?  Stirling
Pakistan orders US to leave Shamsi air base ~ link ~
In a further sign of deteriorating relations, Pakistan has ordered the US to leave a strategic airbase after 24 Pakistani soldiers were killed in a cross-border NATO air strike on two army posts.

The U.S. was told to evacuate its personnel from the Shamsi air base, from where CIA drones reportedly fly missions against terrorist elements along the border with Afghanistan and in the tribal areas.

US cannot afford to open front against Pakistan - with video ~ link ~ To pull out from the region, the US has no other choice but to rely on Pakistani transit corridors, Gul added. On top of that, multiple issues the United States have to deal with across the world, such as Libya, Syria and many others, Washington cannot afford to open another front against Pakistan.

“Pakistan is not an ordinary country. It’s not Iraq, it’s not Afghanistan – Pakistan can resist, and then the whole region will be turned into an inferno. It will light a fire which they will not be able to control,” Hamid Gul concluded.

Iran downed US drone - Threatens response 'outside our borders'  ~ link ~ This is a high-tech stealth UAV that is one of the best that is publicly in the USAF inventory.   Stirling

"Iran's military has downed an intruding RQ-170 American drone in eastern Iran," Iran's Arabic-language Al Alam state television network quoted the unnamed source as saying. "The spy drone, which has been downed with little damage, was seized by the Iranian armed forces." America's 'Great Game' could spark World War Three - with video ~ link ~ Following the latest report that the Iranian military has shot down a US drone in eastern Iran, radio host Stephen Lendman told RT such US reconnaissance missions point towards greater ambitions for domination, which might lead to all-out war.

Lendman also claims US Special Forces are already operating within Iran, as he believes the build-up for an attack is becoming imminent.  According to Lendman, recent events in Libya, Syria, and now Iran, point towards a greater drive to rein in everyone who might be opposed to unrestrained US power.

Over half of Israel's Air Force's flights are unmanned drones ~ link ~ The IAF's use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has increased dramatically in recent years, the IDF website reported Sunday. It quoted Lieutenant Colonel Amir Weiss, of the IAF's UAV department, as saying that UAVs now conduct more than 50% of the Israel Air Force's flight hours. Weiss spoke at the 2011 Aerospace Conference last week.

Weiss said that "the flight hours of UAVs require a growing amount of missions, made possible by the growth of forces in significant numbers in recent years."

Syria: Arab League issues new Sunday deadline ~ link ~ The Arab League is simply another arm of the globalists octopus of control.  The march towards war on Syria and Iran and a General Middle East War and WWIII continues.   Stirling
Syria is facing a new Arab League deadline to accept proposals to allow observers into the strife-torn country. Arab foreign ministers said Damascus had until Sunday to agree to the league's plan. Further sanctions have been threatened.
Diplomats: Hamas quietly scales back its presence in Syria ~ link ~ Dozens of Hamas operatives have quietly returned to Gaza from Damascus as the Islamist group scales back its presence in Syria and gauges the uncertain future of President Bashar Assad, diplomats said on Sunday.

Officially, Hamas leaders are sticking to their denial they plan to quit the Syrian capital, where the group keeps its main headquarters outside the Gaza Strip.

Sanctions against Syria won't bear fruit - with video ~ link ~ One more globalist mouthpiece calling for war, more war, and even more war.   Stirling

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has called for military intervention in Syria to bring down the ruling regime as sanctions continue to be piled on Damascus. But political activist Franklin Lamb has doubts on how effective they can be.

Putin's United Russia Party suffers poll setback ~ link ~ Exit polls in Russia's parliamentary elections point to a sharp drop in support for Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's United Russia party. Polls for Russian state TV and the state-backed polling organisation showed United Russia got about 48.5% of the vote, down from 64% in 2007.

That would give Mr Putin's party 220 members in the 450-seat lower house.

According to the exit poll conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Centre, United Russia party is set to win 48.5 percent of the vote, ahead of its nearest rival the Communist Party with 19.8 percent, AFP reported on Sunday.

The elections are seen as a major test for Putin and his United Russia party to stay in power as he prepares for the March presidential vote.

Some 13,000 police officers were deployed throughout the city, as schools and business had all but shut down amid Sunday’s strife.
Muslin 'Rape Wave' reported in Oslo ~ link ~ Norway is suffering from an unprecedented wave of rapes that are largely being perpetrated by Muslim immigrants against local women, according to Yehuda Bello, an acclaimed Israeli blogger whose special interests include Norway.

Bello, who understands Norwegian and has Norwegian contacts, reported that from January to late October, 48 rapes were confirmed to have been carried out in Oslo alone, 45 of them by Muslims. In the first six months of 2011, 208 Norwegian women complained of rape and attempted rape in Oslo alone. In all of Norway, 929 rapes and attempted aggravated rapes were reported since the beginning of the year, he added.
Switzerland picks Saab's Gripen for F-5 jet fighter replacement deal ~ link ~ The Swedish Gripen NG is a very good fighter, not a great fighter.  It is not quite on a par with the French Dassault Rafale or the Eurofighter Typhoon, but it is not as expensive either, and it is designed to operate from improvised runways (such as roads and highways). It certainly is light years ahead of the old F-5s that the Swiss have been operating out of mountain caves leading onto runways.   Stirling
Merkel beat Netanyahu at Poker over submarine sale ~ link ~ These subs are the latest high-tech non-nuclear submarines and the Israelis use them for nuclear-armed cruise missiles.  This gives Israel a limited global reach to its nuclear weapons.   Stirling
Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel approved the sale of a Dolphin-style military submarine U-boat to Israel last week on condition that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu unfreeze taxes collected for the Palestinian Authority, Die Welt reported Sunday.

The Prime Minister ostensibly freed the taxes, which were frozen in retaliation for the PA’s unilateral bid for United Nations membership, because PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas supposedly has ”calmed down.”

Report: Israeli concessions on Palestinian funds forced by Germany on sub deal ~ link ~ Israel's decision to release frozen public funds to the Palestinians last week came after Germany insisted it did so as a condition for the completion of the sale of a submarine, a German newspaper reported Sunday.

The Welt am Sonntag quoted sources as saying Germany had told Israel it could not go ahead with the purchase of the submarine unless it made political concessions.

Germany planning for Commerzbank nationalization ~ link ~ That Commerzbank, effectively Germany most insolvent lender (after the bank that shall not be named because if it falls, so goes Europe) and the first international bank scrambling to demand Discount Window cash from the Fed not in 2008 but all the way back in 2007, is broke is no secret. The only question was when will the bank which is a pseudo-TBTF, be nationalized. According to Der Spiegel the time is rapidly approaching. Specifically, "Germany's government is preparing plans for a potential nationalization of Commerzbank AG, in case the Frankfurt-based lender isn't able to raise additionally needed capital, German magazine Der Spiegel reports Sunday, citing government sources. Germany will reactivate its bank bailout fund, SoFFin, to acquire additional shares in Commerzbank if the bank hasn't raised necessary capital by next summer, according to the report. Germany already took around a 25% stake in Commerzbank to keep it afloat during the financial crisis following its acquisition of Dresdner Bank. According to the report, it is assumed that the majority of new shares would fall to the government in the event of a capital increase for Commerzbank.
