Thousands flee Tokyo as experts try to calm contamination fears ~ link ~ Where were these "experts" when all these nuclear power plants were being built in the most earthquake prone nation on Earth?  Stirling

Japanese Emperor 'deeply worried' - with video ~ link ~ Japan's Emperor Akihito has said he is "deeply worried" about the crisis his country is facing following last Friday's earthquake and tsunami. In an extremely rare appearance, the emperor went on live TV to make his first public comments on the disaster, and urged an all-out rescue effort.

He spoke after technicians temporarily abandoned a quake-crippled nuclear plant as radiation briefly surged. Thousands of people were killed in the 9.0-magnitude quake and tsunami.

Officials try to cool spent nuclear fuel ~ link ~ Officials grappled Wednesday with the new task of cooling overheating spent nuclear fuel at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant, the facility at the center of Japan's escalating nuclear crisis, as radiation contamination spread on the plant's grounds and seeped out in small amounts to nearby communities.

As the battle to regain control of the troubled nuclear-power plant entered its sixth day Wednesday, the focus shifted to waste fuel kept at storage pools related to two of the plant's six reactors. Water temperatures in these pools shot up, raising the risk of melting of fuel rods or hydrogen explosions in the pools designed to keep waste fuel cool and inactive.

Fukushima Heroes: Not afraid to die ~ link ~However, CBS News correspondent Jim Axelrod reports that a handful have stayed on the job, risking their lives, to try to save the lives of countless people they don't even know. The exact number of workers is unclear and has been reported to be anywhere from 50 to 180.

Although communication with the workers inside the nuclear plant is nearly impossible, a CBS News consultant spoke to a Japanese official who made contact with one of the workers inside the control center. The official said that his friend told him that he was not afraid to die, that that was his job.

14 Reasons Japan's Economic Collapse Has Begun ~ link ~ Many in the mainstream media are claiming that the economy of Japan will bounce right back from this, but they are wrong. The tsunami decimated thousands of square miles. The loss of homes, cars, businesses and personal wealth is almost unimaginable. It is going to take many years to rebuild the roads, bridges, rail systems, ports, power lines and water systems that were lost. There are going to be a significant number of Japanese insurance companies and financial institutions that are going to be totally wiped out as a result of this great tragedy. Of course in the days ahead the Japanese people will band together and work hard to rebuild the nation, but the truth is that it is impossible to "bounce right back" from such a massive loss of wealth, assets and infrastructure.

Just think about what happened after Hurricane Katrina. Did the economy of New Orleans bounce right back? No, there are some areas of New Orleans today that still look like war zones.

Well, this disaster is much worse.

Russia says Japan may face meltdown at SIX REACTORS ~ link ~ Russia's nuclear chief warned on Tuesday that all six reactors at a stricken Japanese nuclear plant could melt down unless the authorities scrambled to cool down the nuclear fuel rods.

Sergei Kiriyenko, who holds sway over most of the former Soviet Union's nuclear facilities, told Russia's paramount leader, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, that under the worst case scenario all six reactors could melt down.

Radiation level rises slightly in Russian Far East ~ link Radiation levels in Vladivostok, a city of 600,000 people some 800 km (500 miles) northwest of Japan's Fukushima nuclear plant, were 1 microroentgen per hour higher at 0400 GMT (12 a.m. ET) than six hours previously, the regional emergencies ministry said.

Russia's military said it was on alert to evacuate people if required from Russia's Sakhalin island, whose southernmost tip is visible from northern Japan, and the Southern Kuril island chain which is at the heart of a territorial dispute with Japan, Interfax news agency reported.

Neocons' Goal: Iran by Way of Libya ~ linkAlthough the neocons had initially been rather cool toward the popular uprisings in the Middle East which threatened  regimes friendly to the U.S. and Israel,  such as Mubarak’s in Egypt, they have reverted to their militant regime change stance toward Gaddafi ’s regime in Libya.  In espousing this interventionist position, they are not as conspicuous as they had been regarding Iraq and Iran, when they had stood in the vanguard,  but are only one component of a popular mainstream cause, which unites many otherwise disparate groups.  Nonetheless, they are a vital players who apparently look to involvement in Libya as a chance to renew their  now-stalled effort to reconfigure the Middle East in the interests of Israel (whose interests, they allege, coincide with those of the United States).  [See Sniegoski, The Transparent Cabal,]

The government has imposed a curfew from 1600 (1300 GMT) to 0400 and banned all demonstrations. The country's Sunni rulers on Tuesday called in Saudi troops to keep order.

Ireland Hammered to Raise Corporate Tax ~ link ~ German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble (left) and EU economic affairs chief Olli Rehn urged Ireland Tuesday to be realistic and drop opposition to raising a corporate tax rate critics say is unfairly low. "If Ireland wants something additional from us, then we can raise that issue," said Schaeuble of Dublin's demand for the interest rate on its EU and IMF bailout to be reduced, in line with the easier terms granted to Greece last Friday. The German minister was recalling a clash between Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny and French President Nicolas Sarkozy on the issue at last week's eurozone summit that is sure to be revisited at a full European Union summit next week. – AgencyFrancePress

300,000 People rally across Portugal ~ link ~ More than 300,000 people have taken to streets in Portugal's capital Lisbon and 10 other major cities to protest lack of job opportunities in their country.  An estimated 200,000 protesters in Lisbon crammed the wide Liberdade Avenue and the Rossio Square, carrying banners with slogans urging a policy change to reverse surging unemployment, precarious working conditions for young people and falling living standards.

"Half of Portugal's active population is either unemployed or precarious, which shows that the situation is untenable," said 27-year-old Joao Labrincha, unemployed and one of the four organizers of the rally, quoted by AFP.  The government announced a series of extra spending cuts and tax changes on Friday aimed at bringing its budget deficit down to 4.6 percent in 2011.

Europe's Coming Meltdown ~ link ~ The just-completed deal between North and South Europe (between Germany and the PIGS, really) is apparently almost entirely one-sided and bound to inflame not diminish civil unrest as spring begins to bloom across Europe. The lines of battle are not hardening; they look to have been set in reinforced concrete. In such an environment it would seem continued clashes within the affected countries are inevitable. Have you read this elsewhere? Here's one interpretation from the European Voice:

US backing for World Currency stuns markets ~ link ~ Not me.  I know that Obama is simply a Front Man for the global banking families and they intend to have a World Currency as a key part of their satanic high-tech global police state - their New World Order.  Stirling

No-Fly Won't Fly Constitutionally by Congressman Ron Paul ~ link In this case, I would like to make sure we actually follow the black letter of the law provided in the Constitution that explicitly grants Congress the sole authority to declare war. This week I will introduce a concurrent resolution in the House to remind my colleagues and the administration that Congress alone, not the president, decides when to go to war. It is alarming how casually the administration talks about initiating acts of war, as though Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution does not exist. Frankly, it is not up to the President whether or not we intervene in Libya, or set up "no-fly" zones, or send troops. At least, it is not if we follow the Constitution. Even by the loose standards of the War Powers Resolution, which cedes far too much power to the president, he would have no authority to engage in hostilities because we have not been attacked – not by Gaddafi, and not by the rebels. This is not our fight. If the administration wants to make it our fight, let them make their case before Congress and put it to a vote. I would strongly oppose such a measure, but that is the proper way to proceed.

US overdue for huge Pacific quake say experts ~ link ~ The western United States is overdue for a huge earthquake and tsunami much like the one that devastated Japan last week, and is nowhere near ready to cope with the disaster, experts say.

3-11 Seismic Terrorism: Great Tokyo Earthquake Emergency Information!

This is Richard Koshimizu from Tokyo. The series of the great earthquakes in Japan are ARTIFICIAL and are triggered by special small nuclear bombs (probably pure hydrogen bombs). David Rockefeller and his CFR clans are indeed scheduled to initiate the last tokyo great quakes in 17-20th of March.

Yesterday, employees of the advertising agency industry are given the directive of "Escape to Kyushu or Hokkaido!" And in fact, family members of employees are beginning to escape to Kyushu. They are told to "escape from Fukushima's radiation crisis", however, the true reason of evacuation notice is to escape from TOKYO QUAKES! Fukushima nuclear problem is a dummy to conseal the TOKYO SEISMIC TERROR program! This industry employees were initially commanded to wait around at home, but, now the command is changed as "Escape"!

Foreign cargo vesses disappeared from the port of Kyushu, foreign shops at Ikebukuro closed shutters. Tokyo Bay's low altitude area is covered with unusual black clouds that could have been created by small nuclear explosion at seabed. Tokyo Destruction Plan by Jewish Mega power is not a joke. Fanatics are really trying to do. And they can be stopped by only those who understand this critical situation.

Please do spread this info. throughout the world urgently.
