Current status of the Gulf Stream ~ link

Advanced Biological Warfare (article by Lord Stirling) ~ link ~ I have a link to a free movie on Hulu, BLACK DAWN: THE NEXT PANDEMIC, that is most interesting.  The movie is about the spread of a naturally occurring mutation in the H5N1 virus; a rather nasty mutation that kills up to 10% of those it effects.  I strongly urge people to take the time to view this movie, as it shows the impact of what a single naturally occurring virus mutation can do.  In reality, a global strategic Advanced Biological-based war would be at least ten-fold as bad and more likely a hundred-fold in its impact as the viruses would be military designer-created (recombination DNA) diseases with a much stronger kill ratio (90% or higher fatality level from an infection) and there would likely be many dozens of viruses released at the same time, instead of only one disease.

Before we allow hardliners in Israel take us into yet another war, we need to take a very hard and realistic look at just what a war involving MAD on all sides would mean to Israel, to Europe, to North America and the entire world.

Ancient Scottish Barony Title for sale.  There are about 100 Scottish feudal baronies  that still exist; only a handful are from the very ancient Baronage of the Isles, as this one is.  In a time of economic crisis, it pays to put some of your wealth into important artwork, properties, etc. of rare value.  This is one of the most rare things that can be purchased and held. For sale at US$150,000 ~ link

Yesterday's blog crashed and I lost 2/3 of what I had posted.   This is twice in a week.  I have run virus sweeps/etc. and can find nothing wrong.  I may have had too many sites open, or maybe someone is 'playing' with my site.  In any case, I am sorry that the posts have been so few lately.  Stirling

Saudi Arabia sending troops to Bahrain ~ link ~ Now don't take this the wrong way.  There is much, and I do mean much, corruption in the Arab world.  However, at some level one does have to ask if these revolutions are being set up by the same folks that gave us the color revolutions in Eastern Europe.  That looked great, at the time, but turned out to be nothing but a power grab by the NeoCons/global banking families.  The Saudis see this as a direct threat to all in the Middle East other than Israel.  They are turning their vast resources on to fight it at every level including military!  Stirling
Reports say Saudi Arabia is sending troops to help crackdown on pro-democracy protests in Yemen.
The analyst told PressTV on Tuesday that Riyadh is sending its troops in an attempt to help King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa to crack down on the protesters.

Bahraini police have been using tear gas and batons to disperse the pro-democracy protesters in the Bahrain capital.

Three protesters have so far been killed due to police gunshot in the Shia village of Daih, in the suburb of Manama.
Where To Be When Black Swans Appear ~ linkMubarak left office on Friday. The army took control on Saturday. On Sunday, the generals dissolved parliament.
Revolutions don’t always turn out well. The French Revolution was a good time to be in England. The Russian Revolution was a good time to be almost anywhere other than Russia. Even the American Revolution was a good time to be elsewhere too.

Where should you be now? We don’t know. But we suggest that you have a bolt hole somewhere. A refuge…a getaway…a family stronghold

Afghan War draws in China and Russia ~ link ~ Yep, the global banking families want a true world war as part of the End Game to establish their satanic high-tech police state New World Order.  Stirling
According to MEMRI, a high-profile Middle Eastern think-tank, China's involvement as a Pakistan ally is ongoing and becoming a good deal more obvious and pervasive. In the past year, Pakistan has sought the stationing of 11,000 Chinese troops at Gilgit-Baltistan in the sensitive Kashmir region. Pakistan denied the troop presence at first, but then explained the Chinese were there to help Pakistan with its flooding. MEMRI makes other points involving Chinese-Pakistan cooperation.

Pakistani tribal areas have been opened up for Chinese inspection. Chinese Army officials were welcomed into the Khyber Agency in October 2010 by Colonel Asad Qureshi. Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani welcomed a Chinese role in Afghanistan in April 2010. Pakistan has signed a contract with China to build Pakistani warships that will carry missiles and heavy weapons. Pakistan sees itself as aligned against the West in a superpower clash.

The Chinese-built Pakistani port at Gwadar has a Chinese presence and serves as a counter to India's naval dominance in the Indian Ocean. China is building two nuclear reactors in Pakistan and just recently it became apparent that Pakistan was building a fourth nuclear facility to produce plutonium. Pakistan recently test-fired a Hatf-VII cruise missile that can carry a nuclear payload.

Pakistan is becoming steadily more aggressive. MEMRI tells us that in early February, Pakistani planes bombarded Afghan border police posts and civilian homes to warn to Afghan President Hamid Karzai against a visit to India. There have been more suicide bombings in Kabul itself. The Pakistan intelligence agency, ISI has begun leaking the names of CIA agents in the country – both station chief Jonathan Banks and Elizabeth Rudd from Peshawar.
Thus the theatre of the war expands. In "superpower" clash, as MEMRI calls it, Russia has allied itself with the West. Russia wants NATO troops to stay in Afghanistan indefinitely. Russia is providing Afghan police with weapons and ammunitions and is carrying out joint counter-narcotics operations.

America's Murderer-Diplomat In Pakistan, A Strange Tale - with videos ~ link ~
ScreenHunter_09 Feb. 14 20.26
Americans have been told one of their diplomats is being held illegally in Pakistan after killing two terrorists.  The American government has made every imaginable effort to secure his release.  Why would America’s most powerful ally, a nation dependent on American aid to survive, a nation who has lost more troops supporting America’s wars than America herself, suffered more terror attacks and more economic disruption simply, as the news reports, hold someone repeatedly called an “innocent diplomat” hostage?
Elites Set Orwellian War Against China and Islam ~ linkIraq is the forgotten war. Even amidst the chaos swirling around developing countries throughout the world, the Western mainstream media for the most part ignores Iraq. And perhaps one day – sooner rather than later – it will have its own re-revolution (see article excerpt above); not one to welcome in regulatory democracy (that's already being tried, and wretchedly) but an Islamic Shia revolution. The Shias are Persian Islamists and the Iranian theocratic state is Shia. Iraq is mostly Shia and any uprising would likely – eventually – result in a Shia theocracy.
In fact, destabilization of existing regimes is taking place all over. As we've now documented (along with other alternative news sites on the ‘Net) it does not appear to be an accident. The scope of this article, then, runs far beyond Iraq, the status of which we have used merely for introductory purposes. In the rest of this article, we shall explore further the astoundingly ambitious effort underway by Western powers-that-be to foment civic unrest not just in the Middle East or Africa but around the world – and reasons why they may be doing so. The Anglo-American elite apparently plans to replicate the Egyptian revolution not just in the Middle east but worldwide via the use of the Internet and swelling youth demographics.
Anglosphere Plots Color Revolutions Around the World ~ link ~ Hosni Mubarak has resigned. The Egyptian "color" revolution (ie: a peaceable one), carried out by heroic people risking life and limb, has been apparently been a success. I only wish it were that simple. But there is ample evidence the revolution has been manipulated and that the Anglo-American elite plans to replicate the Egyptian revolution not just in the Middle East but worldwide via the use of the Internet and swelling youth demographics.
The latest and most astonishing global gambit is called AYM and Wikipedia provides us some information about the group, as follows: "The Alliance for Youth Movements (AYM) began with a December 2008 summit in New York City to identify, convene, and engage 21st century movements online for the first time in history. The United States Department of State partnered with Facebook, Howcast, MTV, Google, YouTube, AT&T, JetBlue, Gen-Next, Access 360 Media, and Columbia Law School to launch a global network and empower young people mobilizing against violence and oppression."

According to Wikipedia, "Founders of AYM include Jared Cohen, former advisor to both Secretaries of State Condoleezza Rice and Hillary Clinton and now Director of Google Ideas at Google, Jason Liebman, CEO and co-founder of Howcast and Roman Tsunder, co-founder of Access 360 Media. Speakers at the 2008 summit included actress Whoopi Goldberg, Facebook Co-Founder Dustin Moskovitz, The Obama Campaign's New Media Team, and then-current Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs of the United States James K. Glassman."

Admiral Mullen to China: We're Staying in Your Backyard ~ link

Here’s how to understand what’s driving the new National Military Strategy, released today by the U.S. military’s top officer: China, China and China.

Ostensibly, Adm. Mike Mullen’s document is about how the U.S. military ought to organize and prepare for future threats. The watchwords there: building networks, whether with civilian government and international agencies or foreign partner forces, prepared to “extend” U.S. “competitive advantages” in military tech and training to all who seek its help. That sets a “transition from a force that has been engaged in sustained combat operations to a Joint Force that is shaped for the future,” Mullen’s team writes — one in which the U.S. bolsters its military strength through deep alliances even as the Iraq and Afghanistan wars end.

Russia: Foreign Power may have disabled key satellite ~ link ~ That is a powerful charge.  If we, did that, we are really crossing the line.  Attacking a satellite is considered an 'act of war'.  Stirling
The Russian space agency suggested Feb. 14 that a foreign power may have been behind the space accident earlier this month that disabled one of the country's most modern military satellites.
Russia on Feb. 1 launched a high-tech Geo-IK-2 craft to help the military draw a three-dimensional map of the Earth and locate the precise positions of various targets. News reports said the satellite was a vital part of Russia's effort to match the United States and NATO's ability to target its missiles from space.

Bibi 666 Netanyahu: Israeli Army ready for anything ~ link ~ Anything but Peace!  Watch this nut Netanyahu, he is the one that will light the match in the powerhouse!  Stirling

The Israeli military is "ready for all eventualities" as the Arab and Muslim world undergoes "an earthquake," Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday just days after Egypt's regime collapsed.

"An earthquake is shaking the whole Arab world and a large part of the Muslim world and we don't yet know how these things will turn out," the premier said at a swearing-in ceremony for new army chief Major General Benny Gantz.  [Note: Now Lt. Gen. Gantz, was the evil bastard that attacked hospitals, schools, power stations, etc., in the Gaza War when he headed the invasion forces.  They also used illegal weapons on unarmed civilians including women and children.  He is keen to support Netanyahu in an attack on Iran.  Stirling]

"We are ready for all eventualities because we know that the foundation of our existence, and our capacity to convince our neighbours to live in peace with us, is based on the Israeli army," he said during a ceremony at his Jerusalem office.

Gantz takes over the post as Israel's strategic stance in the Middle East undergoes a shakeup in the wake of a popular revolt in Egypt which ousted president Hosni Mubarak after three decades in power.

Mubarak Regime Orchestrated the Church Blast to Please USA and Israel ~ link ~ Most "terrorism" is in reality False Flag Operations.   Stirling
Egypt’s general prosecutor on Monday 7, February opened probe into former Interior Minister Habib el-Adly’s reported role in the New Year’s Eve bombing of al-Qiddissin Church in Alexandria based on Leaked information from UK embassy in Cairo & Al Arabyia news channel [i] that suggested the deadly operation was a false flag [ii] intended to escalate the international fears of the activity of some Islamist group- Jundullah- which was blamed for the attack and supposedly related to Hamas in Gaza.  Eventually this whole web of lies and spilled blood would be sold to the world as the doing of another al Qaeda’s affiliate located in the Egyptian-Israeli borderline; the thing that would have tightened the Israeli blockade on Gaza, justified the absurd American war on Bin Laden- style terrorism and certainly enhanced the credibility and reputation of Mubarak as strong ally to the United States and loyal friend to Tel Aviv.

Food/Financial Crisis of 2011 ~ link ~ I have been warning of this since last summer!  Stirling
World food inflation is smashing down on the world’s populations as prices rise precipitously in the face of increasing shortages and absurd monetary policies. Prices are rising everywhere. It is not millions but billions of people who must tighten their belts because they have no choice but to eat less. Billions of people on our planet have no discretionary funds so they just cannot afford the increased prices. They have to get by with less to eat. They have no choice.

Things can get so bad that people will not be able to buy foods at any price because they simply will not be available because they have been bought up by someone else. I am not talking about your neighbor here who just happened to beat you to the supermarket this morning. Imagine if China pulls out a $100 billion out of its almost bottomless pockets and purchases grain to feed its billions? Why wouldn’t they, after all, spend increasingly worthless paper on a mountain of food?

Below you will see that this is a real threat because of the drought that is going on there. Other governments are already stockpiling food staples in an attempt to contain panic buying, inflation and social unrest. There is nothing pretty about this quickly evolving food catastrophe and with each week the story only becomes gloomier.

Food prices at dangerous levels, says World Bank ~ link ~ This will be used to jump start riots, protests, and revolutions around the world as a key part of the End Game for the introduction of the global banking families New World Order.  Stirling
The World Bank says food prices are at "dangerous levels" and have pushed 44 million more people into poverty since last June. According to the latest edition of its Food Price Watch, prices rose by 15% in the four months between October 2010 and January this year. Food price inflation is felt disproportionately by the poor, who spend over half their income on food.

Will Color Revolutions Remove Central Banks ~ link ~ No, ultimately Soros (a senior Rothschild agent) and other connected to the global banking families are behind the "revolutions".  Stirling

In watching various color revolutions now and in the 1990s in Eastern Europe, it has occurred to us that they are specifically designed to keep money power in place. Hosni Mubarak has been removed from power along with some of his cronies, but the STRUCTURE of Egypt (the monetary structure, which is what matters) remains intact. This has nothing to do with politics or with the military – all areas that have received a great deal of attention. But as this article excerpted above shows us clearly, financial instrumentalities remain untouched.
In fact, this Bloomberg article shows us that with all the turmoil around Egyptian politics, the monetary system itself can be considered a force for good, steadying the ship of state during a rough passage. It is an amazing presentation given that up to 50 percent of all able-bodied men in Egypt are either unemployed or radically unemployed. What kind of financial system is this that generates an unemployment rate of nearly 50 percent – and yet remains virtually unmentioned?
Bahrain protests: King announces probe into two deaths ~ link
The body of a man killed on Monday is buried in Bahrain (15 February 2011)
The king of Bahrain has gone on television to announce an investigation into the deaths of two protesters killed in clashes with security forces.
On Tuesday, a mourner was shot dead at the funeral of a protester killed when police fired a barrage of tear gas and rubber bullets in the capital, Manama. Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa offered his condolences to the men's families.
But soon after, thousands of protesters gathered in Manama's main square. The security forces have so far held back. The disturbances in Bahrain - where the Shia majority has been ruled by a Sunni Muslim royal family since the 18th Century - are the latest in the wave of anti-government unrest that has swept the Middle East.

US to boost support for cyber dissidents ~ link ~ Good, I could use about $50K to improve my site....Oh, that is only for those in foreign nations.... Stirling

The United States stands with cyber dissidents and democracy activists from the Middle East to China and beyond, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Tuesday. She pledged to expand the Obama administration's efforts to foil Internet repression in autocratic states.

In an impassioned speech on Internet freedom, Clinton said the administration would spend $25 million this year on initiatives designed to protect bloggers and help them get around curbs like the Great Firewall of China, the gagging of social media sites in Iran, Cuba, Syria, Vietnam and Myanmar as well as Egypt's recent unsuccessful attempt to thwart anti-government protests by simply pulling the plug on online communication.

US launching Chinese, Russian, Hindi Twitter feeds ~ link
Just days after launching Twitter feeds in Arabic and Farsi to communicate directly with people in the Middle East, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced Tuesday that the State Department would begin sending messages in Chinese, Russian and Hindi.

Clinton, in a speech on Internet freedom at George Washington University here, said the United States is "committed to continuing our conversation with people around the world."

Egypt: Army sets 10-day constitutional reform deadline ~ link ~ A committee led by a retired judge has been tasked with proposing legal changes, said the council.
It earlier suspended the current constitution, which was amended during ousted President Hosni Mubarak's tenure to strengthen his grip on power. Mr Mubarak stepped down last week after more than two weeks of protests.

The higher military council - which assumed power after Mr Mubarak stepped down - said on Tuesday that the amended constitution would be put to a popular referendum. The eight-member committee is mostly made up of experts in constitutional law but it includes a senior figure from the opposition group, the Muslim Brotherhood. It is headed by Tariq el-Bishri, considered one of Egypt's top legal minds, and on Tuesday held its opening meeting with Defence Minister Mohamed Hussein Tantawi.

Street battles hit Yemeni capital in latest protest - with video ~ link ~ Unrest in Yemen turned ugly as protesters clashed with police and government loyalists in Sanaa on the fourth consecutive day of rallies. Thousands of protesters demanding the resignation of President Ali Abdullah Saleh came up against a smaller crowd backing the veteran leader. The protesters could be heard chanting "After Mubarak, Ali", in reference to the recent dramatic events in Egypt.
Police fired tear gas and stones were thrown, with reports of injuries. Clashes also broke out during an anti-government protest in the Yemeni city of Taez, to the south of the capital.
The Middle East has seen a wave of anti-government protest this year, which began with the overthrow of Tunisia's President, Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali, last month and reached a new height at the weekend, when Hosni Mubarak of Egypt resigned.
Iraq Diverts F-16 Budget for Food Rations ~ link ~ The link between food costs, the climate crisis, and revolution is becoming more and more clear.  Stirling
Iraq has postponed the planned purchase of 18 F-16 fighter planes from the United States this year and diverted the funds to feeding the poor, an official said Feb. 14, amid growing protests that have been inspired by the uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia.

Did Israel have a hand in Egypt's Internet blackout ~ link
Just after midnight on Friday, January 28, following three days of popular demonstrations calling for the ouster of longstanding Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, Internet access (along with mobile-phone communications) in Cairo, Alexandria and the northern canal city of Suez — where demonstrations were most intense — was abruptly cut. The Internet remained inaccessible for the next three days.

Now reports have emerged in the Hebrew- and Arabic-language press that the Mubarak regime had sought Israel’s help in imposing the Internet blackout. On February 9, Egyptian Arabic-language news website Youm al-Sabea, citing reports in Hebrew-language daily Yedioth Ahronoth published the same day, asserted that the Egyptian regime had “requested the assistance of Israeli technicians to disrupt Egypt’s Internet network with the aim of quelling the revolution.”

Silvio Berlusconi faces Ruby sex charge trial in April ~ link
Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and Karima el Mahroug (file pic) Mr Berlusconi denies paying for sex with Karima El Mahroug when she was 17
Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi has been indicted to stand trial on charges of paying for sex with an under-age prostitute and abuse of power.
Examining judge Cristina Di Censo said the process would start on 6 April, after prosecutors in Milan asked for an immediate trial. Mr Berlusconi denies paying for sex with Karima El Mahroug when she was 17.  He also rejects claims that he abused his power by seeking her release when she was detained in another case.

Obama vows to tackle benefit spending ~ link ~ Get ready America for your version of the European Austerity Fascism.  The global banking families have stolen just about everything, including that which is nailed down, and now want to steal the people's Social Security/etc.  This will certainly happen if the people continue to be gutless wonders.  Stirling
A Tipping Point Is Nearing ~ link ~
We are facing a tipping point.  There will soon be a crisis affecting US citizens beyond any experienced since the Great Depression.  And it may happen within the year.  This past week three awful developments put a dagger into the hope for a growth-led recovery, which held promise of possibly averting a debt and currency implosion crushing the American economy.

How Many Progressive Budget Analysts Does It Take To Notice The Military? ~ link Whether or not one recklessly and misleadingly includes Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid in discussions of the federal discretionary budget, the fact remains that over half of the discretionary budget (of everything other than Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid) is military. The primary talking point coming out of the White House is the need to freeze all non-military discretionary spending. And yet it is difficult to find a progressive analysis of the budget President Obama proposed on Monday that even mentions the existence of the military.

In regards to the Russian satellite, it is more likely that their incompetance led to the failure and now they're simply trying to blame someone else.

Or the satellite does indeed function and they are trying to hide that fact by lying about its failure.
