South Korea intelligence chief: North Korea 'likely to attack again' ~ linkYes, they may.  And America and the South are also apt to bait them.  Stirling
South Korean chief of general staff patrols with troops along Demilitarised Zone
Won Sei-hoon, director of South Korea's National Intelligence Service, told a parliamentary committee behind closed doors that the recent attacks came amid "internal complaints" about Pyongyang's third generation succession and worsening economic situation, according to a ruling party official.

"There is a high possibility that the North will make another attack," South Korea's Yonhap news agency quoted him as saying, adding that the government was trying to burnish the credentials of the designated leader who was still very young and untested, and also win new concessions from the international community.

South Korea and US 'plan more drills' amid North Korean fear ~ link ~ A South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff officer said that Seoul and Washington were planning new military drills off South Korea's west coast. The officer, speaking on condition of anonymity, said talks were focused on whether these would take place this month or next.

Separately, South Korea is planning what it calls routine week-long naval live-fire exercises from 29 sites around the country. These are due to start next week and continue for several weeks.

Australia could be drawn into a conflict on the Korean Peninsula under its alliance with the US ~ link ~ Australia could be drawn in to any military conflict on the Korean peninsula under its alliance with the US, the government has confirmed.

Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd said yesterday he was watching events on the Korean peninsula with "razor sharp" eyes, as South Korea and the US began war games in the wake of several instances of aggression from North Korea.
....
Yesterday, amid reports of more artillery fire and the movement of missiles within North Korea, Mr Rudd used a television interview with the Nine Network to express deep concern about the developments and make clear Australia would have obligations to back the US and South Korea in any conflict.

He said the 1951 ANZUS Treaty set out that any attack on the territory of the signatories or on their armed forces within the Pacific area would require the allies to "act to meet the common danger", consistent with their constitutional processes. "That does not dictate an immediate course of military action but we need to be mindful of the fact that, when our forebears laid down this alliance, these considerations were taken into account."

In unusually unequivocal language for a senior Japanese politician, Foreign Minister Seiji Maehara said yesterday that talks would be “impossible” as long as the North refused to honor previous commitments to dismantle its nuclear weapons program

WikiLeaks documents now targeting Iran ~ link ~ This is just another Mossad scam to make fools of as many people as possible, and lead the world to war.  Stirling

What a coincidence! The U.S. has been baiting Iran for years and attempted to provoke it into war on numerous occasions and now some very convenient documents have been released by Wikileaks that suggest Iran is arming and training Shi'ite militants in Iraq to “carry out attacks on coalition troops and Iraqi government officials.”

The previous big release of documents from Wikileaks accused Pakistan in aiding the Taliban in Afghanistan. This conveniently gave the U.S. an excuse to increase its move into Pakistan to fire more missiles at civilians.

So far this year, more than 749 people have been killed by U.S. drone strikes in Pakistan. In 2009 there were 53 drone strikes in Pakistan and this year there have been 89 strikes with two months to go until the end of the year. President Obama has approved the continued drone attacks on Pakistan.

THE LIES BEGIN…

“Iran’s Training for Iraqi Militants Outlined in Leaked Pentagon Documents”

Bloomberg and The Guardian start the ball rolling.  Imagine Iraq, a country with the 3rd largest military force in the world, needing “trainers” from Iran.  Iraq with its elite Republican Guard and one million man army has more people with military training that Britain, a fact The Guardian seems oblivious to.  One minute, Iraq is building nuclear weapons and threatening the region with SCUD missiles, the next it is having to turn to “Iranian experts” to build pipe bombs.  Has any nation ever suffered such a case of collective amnesia in the area of weapons technology before?
As the days pass, we can expect more and more fanciful accounts of Iranian spies, trainers, kidnappers and terrorists, each story more sensational and fictitious than the last.
There is a more insidious aspect to Wikleaks.  Through representing itself as “anti-war” and “public spirited,” it carries forward a globalist agenda, promoting war, promoting regional strife, coincidentally all directly tied to Israel’s “hit list,”  the nations Israel openly advocates someone else destroys.
One could easily describe Wikileaks as a Mossad PsyOp.
Thus, Wikileaks is very effective in derailing genuine dialog and meaningful dissent.

WikiLeaks and Imperial Mobilization ~ link ~ Wiki Leaks Zionist War
In order to comprehend the ostensibly bizarre Wikileaks phenomena that is continually in the news these days, it is essential to first comprehend the concept of the ‘Mighty Wurlitzer’.

It used to be the honorific of Frank Wisner, the first chief of political warfare for the Central Intelligence Agency, used to describe the C.I.A.’s plethora of front organizations and newsmedia stooges that he was capable of playing (like a great organ with many keyboards) for synthesizing any propaganda tune that was needed for the day. More details may be gleaned in the disclosures of Operation Mockingbird.
The fact that such an omnipresent Message-Machine is not ancient history but very much current affairs, is underscored by this NYT headline “Behind TV Analysts, Pentagon’s Hidden Hand”, Sunday, April 20, 2008.

Therefore, today, I use the term ‘Mighty Wurlitzer’ as a metaphor to pluralistically refer to the same message-machine, i.e., the intelligence apparatus for manufacturing consent and controlling dissent, and its concomitant conscious manipulation of peoples’ thoughts, feelings, actions and in-actions, in order to serve the primacy interests of the ruling-elite. The latter are, invariably, also the de facto owners of the complete messaging-system now even more globally ubiquitous than when Frank Wisner played the world for a fool.

This ‘grand organ’ is now able to even more effectively synthesize, implant, and reinforce, all the right set of beliefs (myths) among the entire world’s public – by suitably combining ‘events’ with imaginative ‘expos’ writing – which appropriately primes the world populations to acquiesce to the oligarchic agendas. While playing this orchestra is now an integral part of all state-craft, its major musical themes are entirely determined by the behind the scenes owners of the system. While some might refer to the underlying techniques as propaganda and psy-ops, ‘Mighty Wurlitzer’ singularly captures the messaging-system controlled under a unified purpose of command which is both highly compartmentalized and cellularized. Only the Mighty Wurlitzer knows the entire tune.

What this means is that not all who willingly cooperate with the Mighty Wurlitzer in synchronistically humming its themes are knowingly being purveyors of its myths and deception. Many of its most shrill echoers are often well intentioned functionaries who are fed different motivating myths at different levels in the hierarchy – sometimes the lie is different at every level – such that it suitably motivates each according to their own predilection, professional station, and mission statement.

The Mighty Wurlitzer operates on the core premise which has been empirically shown to psychologically motivate most human action. That premise was elegantly captured in the following insightful observation made at the so called “Terrorism Study Group”, that “’Public Assumptions’ Shape Views of History: Such presumptions are beliefs (1) thought to be true (although not necessarily known to be true with certainty), and (2) shared in common within the relevant political community. The sources for such presumptions are both personal (from direct experience) and vicarious (from books, movies, and myths).” Successfully implanting such presumptions and pre-suppositions among any group is to motivate its overall actions in accordance with those implanted beliefs. Thus, many intelligent peoples for whom it is otherwise inexplicable to understand why they persist in ‘United We Stand’ with absurdities, are motivated to react sympathetically to those absurdities.

WikiLeaks - More Israeli Game Theory Warfare ~ link ~ Great article, take the time to go to the site and read it all.  Stirling
wiki-leaks-war7
The impact of the WikiLeaks release of diplomatic cables fits the behavior profile of those well versed in game theory warfare.

When Israeli mathematician Robert J. Aumann received the 2005 Nobel Prize in economic science for his work on game theory, he conceded, “the entire school of thought that we have developed here in Israel” has turned “Israel into the leading authority in this field.”

The candor of this Israeli-American offered a rare insight into an enclave long known for waging war from the shadows. Israel’s most notable success to date was “fixing” the intelligence that induced the U.S. to invade Iraq in pursuit of a geopolitical agenda long sought by Tel Aviv
When waging intelligence wars, timing is often the critical factor for game-theory war planners. The outcome of the WikiLeaks release suggests a psy-ops directed at the U.S.
Why now? Tel Aviv was feeling pressure to end its six-decade occupation of Palestine. With this release, its foot-dragging on the peace process was displaced with talk of an attack on Iran.

While the U.S. bore the brunt of the damage, the target was global public opinion. To maintain the plausibility of The Clash of Civilizations, a focus must be maintained on Iran as a credible Evil Doer.

With fast-emerging transparency, Israel and pro-Israelis have been identified as the source of the intelligence that took coalition forces to war in Iraq. Thus the need to shift attention off Tel Aviv.
Game theory war planning aims to create outcomes that are predictable—within an acceptable range of probabilities. That’s why Israeli war planners focus on gaining traction for a plausible narrative and then advancing that storyline step by gradual step.
For the Zionist state to succeed with its expansionist agenda, Iran must remain at center stage as an essential villain in a geopolitical morality play pitting the West against Islamo Fascists.

To displace facts with false beliefs—as with belief in the intelligence that induced the invasion of Iraq—momentum must be maintained for the storyline. Lose the plot (The Clash) and peace might break out. And those deceived may identify the deceiver.

Revelations on Rafik Hariri's Assassination ~ link ~  While western media have announced that indictments against Hezbollah will be issued shortly by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, Russian magazine Odnako challenges the entire UN investigation. Thierry Meyssan posits that the weapon used to assassinate former Prime Minister Rafik Hairiri was supplied by Germany. Former German prosecutor and first commissioner in charge of the UN probe, Detlev Mehlis, seemingly doctored evidence to cover up his country’s involvement. These revelations embarrass the Tribunal and reverse the tide in Lebanon.

All the conflicts rocking the Middle East today crystallize around the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL). Peace hinges on it, and so does war. For some, the STL should bring about the dissolution of the Hezbollah, quell the Resistance and establish a Pax Americana. Others consider that the STL is flouting the law and subverting the truth to ensure the takeover of a new colonial order in the region.

^Snowfall disrupts northern Europe's airports and roads ~ link ~ Some people thought that Dr. Deagle, Dr. Zangari and myself were alarmists when we warned that the UK, Ireland, and northern Europe could begin to see really bad winter conditions this winter because of the death of the Loop Current in the Gulf of Mexico and its role in the Thermohaline Circulation System.  It appears that we were correct; however, sometimes it is not so wonderful to be right.  Stirling

In Poland, eight homeless people died as temperatures fell below -20C. Airports were closed in the UK, France and Switzerland. Dozens of flights were affected in Germany and Spain  In the Russian capital, Moscow, temperatures dropped to -23.6C, the lowest on record for 1 December since 1931. In Poland the mercury dropped even lower, with the eastern city of Bialystok registering temperatures of -26C.

In northern Italy, where heavy rains have caused severe flooding in some areas this week, the Civil Protection Authority warned more downpours were expected. Rome's Tiber river came close to overflowing in parts after water levels rose by more than a metre in one day.

While the north of the continent shivered, though, it was a different picture in parts of southern Europe, with Cyprus enjoying an unseasonably warm start to December and clocking temperatures close to 30C.

^'Big Chill' breaks November temperature records in United Kingdom ~ link

Snowy road

Last night saw November minimum temperature records fall across the country.  Most notably both Wales and Northern Ireland recorded the coldest November night since records began. In Wales, temperatures fell to -18.0 °C at Llysdinam, near Llandrindod Wells, Powys. Northern Ireland recorded -9.5 °C at Loch Fea.

Scotland recorded minimum temperature of -15.3 °C at Loch Glascarnoch, whilst England recorded -13.5 °C at Topcliffe in North Yorkshire.

The UK’s lowest ever recorded temperature in November was -23.3 °C recorded in Braemar, in the Scottish Highlands, on 14 November 1919.

The cold and snow is expected to continue to affect many parts of the UK today and through the coming week. Met Office forecasters are warning of further severe frosts, snow and icy conditions. The north-easterly winds, with a significant wind chill will also make it feel bitterly cold as daytime temperatures struggle to rise above freezing.
Met Office warnings and advisories of severe weather for snow and icy roads are in force for parts of northern and eastern England, parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Further snowfall is expected through Scotland and the north east on Sunday.

Met Office Chief Forecaster, Steve Willington said: “The very low overnight temperatures we have seen are likely to be repeated through the coming week as the cold and snowy weather continues. As winds increase into next week, it will feel increasingly cold with a significant wind chill to contend with by day and night.”

^Re-linking: Jet Stream Gone Haywire "Significant" Snow Falls for Europe Predicted by Mid-Week (22 Nov 2010) ~ link ~ The reason that the Jet Stream has 'gone haywire' is the same reason that caused it to go 'haywire' last summer resulting in the high heat and drought (in some areas) and flooding (in other areas of Eurasia).  The Thermohaline Circulation System is screwed up because of all the oil still in the Gulf of Mexico from the BP Oil Disaster and the (corrupt Obama Administration approved) use of dispersants to sink the crude oil instead of cleaning it up.  Stirling

Cars in the snow in Ashford, Kent
Supt Chris Moon of Surrey Police said the county's conditions were the worst he had ever seen and were likely to deteriorate further. He added: "I have put out several severe weather warnings in my career, but this one I really must stress."

Barnsley Hospital, in South Yorkshire, has closed its outpatients department and cancelled non-urgent operations for Wednesday and Thursday because of the snow.
Travel disruption includes:
  • In Surrey, police warned people in the Reigate and Leatherhead areas not to travel
  • Up to 400 lorries were stranded on the M25 in Kent and Surrey on Wednesday morning. Drivers are advised not to travel on the motorway
  • In South Yorkshire, bus services have been cancelled in Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster
  • In the South East, there are no trains between London Victoria and Dartford, Charing Cross and Hastings and between Strood and Paddock Wood
  • There are no flights in or out of Gatwick Airport until 0600 GMT on Thursday at the earliest and delays at London City Airport
  • Durham Tees Valley Airport has suspended flights until further notice
  • Heathrow is expecting disruption later to inbound flights because of problems at other airports
  • The Humber Bridge in East Yorkshire is closed and train and bus services are severely disrupted across the Humber region

Edinburgh Airport

Further snow and ice have brought disruption to roads across Scotland and closed schools in some areas for a third day.

The Forth Bridge reopened for cars at 1500 GMT after being closed for most of the day. Edinburgh airport is now closed until Thursday morning. Flights from other airports have also been disrupted. Several councils have shut all their schools, with more than 250,000 pupils across the country missing lessons. At least 1,500 of the 2,500 schools in Scotland have now shut.

^Berlin faces record cold start to December ~ link ~ My North and South American readers should keep in mind that when they say "record breaking" cold in places like Berlin, they have records going back centuries longer than in the Americas.  So breaking "records" is a much bigger thing there.  Stirling
Photo: DPA
Berlin is set for the coldest start to December on record, the German Weather Service (DWD) said Wednesday, as freezing temperatures and snow continued to cause transport chaos across the country.

DWD meteorologist Gerd Saalfrank said the temperature could drop as low as -13 degrees Celsius overnight with wind chill taking the effective temperature down to -22 degrees. The surrounding state of Brandenburg would be even colder.

The daunting news came as flight cancellations continued at Germany’s busiest airport Wednesday morning with Frankfurt stopping at least 39 flights because of snow and ice.

Saalfrank said the previous record for the lowest temperature in Berlin on December 1 was -10.8 degrees in 1931.

“We have a good chance of beating that,” he said. “We’re expecting temperatures overnight in Berlin to be as low as -12 or -13 degrees. In Brandenburg you can add another two degrees below that.”

It would snow through the night, dumping five centimetres on Berlin and 10 centimetres in Brandenburg, he added.

The Food Crisis of 2011 ~ link

A farmer in Batavia, Illinois plants corn in his fields 09 May 2007. The surging fuel ethanol industry will use up 27 percent of this year's US corn crop, challenging farmers' ability to satisfy food, feed and fuel demand, the US government said 11 May 2007. A projection of a record 12.46 billion-bushel corn crop will be produced this year, still leaving the demand for corn high as the US Agriculture Department stated stockpiles will run low going into the next crop year when ethanol demand will rise again.
In July, the firm’s personal shopper came back with a stunning report: Wal-Mart had raised its prices 5.8% during the previous month. More significantly, its prices were approaching the levels of competing stores run by Kroger and Safeway. The “low-price leader” still holds its title, but by a noticeably slimmer margin.

Within this tale lie several lessons you can put to work to make money. And it’s best to get started soon, because if you think your grocery bill is already high, you ain’t seen nothing yet. In fact, we could be just one supply shock away from a full-blown food crisis that would make the price spikes of 2008 look like a happy memory.
n September, the US Department of Agriculture estimated that global grain “carryover stocks” – the amount in the world’s silos and stockpiles when the next harvest begins – totaled 432 million tons.

That translates to 70 days of consumption. A month earlier, it was 71 days. The month before that, 72. At this rate, come next spring, we’ll be down to just 64 days – the figure reached in 2007 that touched off the food crisis of 2008.
But what happens if the U.S. scenario is worse than a “nonrecord” harvest? What if there’s a Russia-scale crop failure here at home?

DHS Whistleblower: They're Training Local Police to Suspend Rights  ~ link ~ Film maker William Lewis had the chance to sit down with former police officer turned whistle-blower Travis Maddox for an interview contained the newly released film Enemy of the State: Camp FEMA Part 2.  During the interview, Maddox shares what became his concerns about the extensive training given to the local police department by the Department of Homeland Security in case of a nuclear, chemical, or biological attack.

Maddox, also a former Missouri Constitution Party candidate for office, says the group in which he participated was "trained" to force people from their homes, disarm them, load them onto buses for transport to secured quarantine areas, "and if that weren't enough, from there it gets pretty scary," says Lewis of the interview.

"DHS, parent organization for the Transportation Security Administration, could give the TSA a run for their money," relays Lewis about the information given the viewer from Maddox's first hand experience during training.  The procedures for decontamination require removal of clothing, by force, if necessary.  Maddox also stated during the interview that when the order is given, no one will have a choice, basically saying that you lose your rights to your private property, your guns, even your own body.

"I think your body is probably the most private property that you own," Investigative Journalist and radio talk show host Kaye Beach said in reference to the possibility of forced treatment in this fourth film by the Lewis/Franchi team.

Will Fossil Fuels be Disrupted by this Future Multi-Trillion Dollar Industry? ~ link ~ Seaweeds, a macro form of algae, hold great promise because of their potential for very high yields and high oil production while thriving on non-arable land. Another benefit is that they grow well in saline water. Traditionally crops will not excel in salt water and in some areas of the country valuable agricultural land has been taken out of production due to high concentrations of salt.

But as all researchers know, not all algae is created equal. There are strains of seaweeds that hold great promise for bio-energy and others that hold great promise for producing other products such as high protein meals for replacing non-sustainable ocean-caught fishmeals in aquaculture and other animal diets.

Fiat Currencies Versus Gold: Will China and Russia Quit using the US Dollar ~ link

The Federal Reserve’s balance sheet grew a 4th straight week to $2,328 trillion, up $31 billion in a week. In May the balance sheet was $2,333 trillion.

Holdings of government securities totaled $901.24 billion, and rose $27.62 billion. Mortgage holdings were unchanged and Agency holdings fell slightly.

It might interest you to know that over the past seven years federal debt has doubled to almost $14 trillion. That is more than $100,000 for every American household.

It should be noted that combined expenditures on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are projected to account for 45% of primary federal spending. That is a rise equal to 62% of GDP to 185% in 2035. 70% of US Treasuries are held by private investors and once they start to realize the US is really broke the game is over.

On a European note, Germany cannot keep paying for bailouts without going bankrupt itself. Germany is drowning in the debt of other countries.

Assets under management in commodities hit a record high of $340 billion in October.

A very important event is that China and Russia are going to quit using the US dollar. This is big news. In spite of the current USDX dollar rally it will reduce demand for dollars and expedite the dollar’s demise. Once the dollar rally, induced by European problems is over, the dollar should take out 74 on the USDX. Current US insolvency is being ignored as the five-euro zone PIGGS get gored.

Dark Jupiter size object probably lurks at the edge of the Solar System ~link link
A century of comet data suggests a dark, Jupiter-sized object is lurking at the solar system’s outer edge and hurling chunks of ice and dust toward Earth.

“We’ve accumulated 10 years’ more data, double the comets we viewed to test this hypothesis,” said planetary scientist John Matese of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. “Only now should we be able to falsify or verify that you could have a Jupiter-mass object out there.”

In 1999, Matese and colleague Daniel Whitmire suggested the sun has a hidden companion that boots icy bodies from the Oort Cloud, a spherical haze of comets at the solar system’s fringes, into the inner solar system where we can see them.

In a new analysis of observations dating back to 1898, Matese and Whitmire confirm their original idea: About 20 percent of the comets visible from Earth were sent by a dark, distant planet.

I have a good friend of mine who lives in Brittany France near the sea.
Usually they have quite mild winters but this year a lot of snow has fallen and the branches of the trees down there are breaking under its weight. My freind, who is fifty years old says its the first time in his whole, life that he has witnessed so much snow down where he lives.
