QE 2 101: How the Federal Reserve managed to print money ~ link ~
The Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) set sail from Southampton, England, in this 2008 file photo. The quantitative easing announced last week by the American government bears little resemblance to the massive ocean liner, despite the appropriated nickname.
Cunard Line / PRNewsFoto / Business Wire / File

Everyone is singing the praises of the Federal Reserve’s next round of “Quantitative Easing” to the tune of nearly $1 trillion. Those in favor extol the virtues of the magical printing presses as if we all had been given a free cruise on the ship Queen Elizabeth 2. The truth for most of us is closer to 3rd class tickets on the Titanic.

Quantitative easing is simply printing more money. Normally the Federal Reserve buys government bonds passively to maintain its interest-rate target. With quantitative easing the Fed aggressively buys government bonds and other securities in large quantities.

So how does the Federal Reserve print money? First, it buys government bonds and other financial securities from big New York City banks. It pays for these bonds with newly created electronic money, using computers to change the records of the banks’ accounts at the Fed. If the banks want paper dollars, Federal Reserve Notes, the Department of the Mint at the U.S. Treasury prints and sends crisp new dollars to the Federal Reserve which forwards them to the banks.

People with inside information, or well-informed guesses can make tons of money off this process. Some bond traders and big banks are making a killing off of QE2.

Sarkozy Urges New Monetary System After China Talks ~ link ~ Sarkozy, ever the Rothschild puppet, is straining at the bit to help bring about the long sought New World Order's global currency.  Stirling

Obama fires back after countries slam Fed move ~ link ~ US President Barack Obama has defended the Federal Reserve's policy of printing dollars after China and Russia stepped up criticism ahead of this week's Group of 20 meeting.

The G20 summit has been pitched as a chance for leaders of the countries that account for 85 per cent of world output to prevent a currency row escalating into a rush to protectionism that could imperil the global recovery.
But there is little sign of consensus.

The summit has been overshadowed by disagreements over the US Federal Reserve's quantitative easing (QE) policy under which it will print money to buy $US600 billion of government bonds. The move could depress the dollar and cause a destabilising flow of money into emerging economies

Obama cranks up currency heat on China as gold and oil prices soar ~ link ~ Sadly this is much more about making China an enemy than correcting the imbalance in trade with them.  Stirling

On a day when the price of gold soared past $1,400 an ounce and oil hit high for the year, President Obama found himself in India Monday on the defensive over the Federal Reserve's decision last week to print more money so it can buy up $600 billion in government bonds -- a move Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke insists will stimulate an economy stuck in neutral.

While the White House traditionally steers clear of commenting directly on Fed actions, Obama insisted that "the Fed's mandate -- my mandate -- is to grow our economy. And that's not just good for the United States, that's good for the world as a whole.

Russia echoes China, says US should consult G20 ~ link ~ Russia sided with China ahead of the Group of 20 summit, saying on Monday the United States should consult other countries before pumping cash into its economy, but stopped short of calling the policy a mistake.

President Dmitry Medvedev will take part in the summit, where conflict is brewing over the U.S. Federal Reserve's latest allocation of $600 billion to buy Treasury bonds -- money that investors are likely to redirect into emerging markets in search of higher returns, potentially fuelling new asset bubbles.
China says G20 should monitor US Fed ~ link ~ China's state media has issued a new broadside at the US Federal Reserve's move to prime the US economy, suggesting the Group of 20 should monitor policy shifts by the US central bank.

The Xinhua news agency said in a commentary the Fed was "risking the global recovery by following its own track for economic revival" by spending an extra $US600 billion ($A593.65 billion) buying Treasury bonds to stimulate the US economy.

The comments were published just days ahead of two key summits this week - the G20 meeting in Seoul and the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation forum in Yokohama, Japan - that are expected to focus on rebalancing global trade.

"There is an urgent need for the G20 ... to set up a new mechanism that effectively monitors the issuer of the international reserve currency, especially when it is not able to carry out responsible currency policies," Xinhua said.

"It is necessary for the issuer of the international reserve currency to report to and communicate with the G20 group before it makes major policy shifts."

David Cameron leads largest trade delegation to China in 200 years ~ link ~ David Cameron, who departs for Beijing later today for his maiden visit to China as Prime Minister, has said he wants to forge a “much stronger” relationship with China as Britain looks to export its way back into the black.
However, so far his achievements are lagging well behind the EU15 billion of trade deals secured by French President Nicolas Sarkozy last week.

Although China is the world’s second largest economy with an enviable 10pc economic growth rate, its trade with Britain remains disappointingly small, with UK exports China totalling just £7.7bn in 2009.

Palin takes potshot at $600 billion QE2 ~ link
Sarah Palin
Tea Party darling Sarah Palin joins Chinese and Germans in criticising resumption of quantitative easing, telling Fed chairman Ben Bernanke to 'cease and desist'US

First it was the might of the emerging economic superpowers, Brazil and China. Then Germany weighed in. Now Sarah Palin, the controversial failed Republican vice-presidential candidate, has entered the debate over the Federal Reserve's $600bn package (£370bn) to revive the moribund US economy.

With world leaders heading to Asia to discuss the imbalances of the global economy at the G20 summit in Korea this week, Palin was set to use a speech in Phoenix, Arizona, to declare that she was "deeply concerned" and would call on the US Federal Reserve chairman, Ben Bernanke, to "cease and desist" buying up government debt. "If it doesn't work, what do we do then? Print even more money? What's the end-game here? Where will all this money printing on an unprecedented scale take us? ... All this pump-priming will come at a serious price," Palin will say, according to snippets of the speech obtained by National Review.
US Consumer debt tumbles $100 billion ~ link ~ US consumers, stung by the most vicious economic downturn in a generation, are still not ready to start spending.

Household debt shrank by about 1 percent, or $100 billion, in the third quarter, according to a report released yesterday by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. That means in the two years since the bottom dropped out of the economy, about $1 trillion, or 7.9 percent of consumer buying power, has been sucked out of the US economy.

That is not good news as consumer spending makes up about 70 percent of the country's GDP.
"Americans are borrowing less and paying off more debt than in the recent past," said the Fed. "This change, which we continue to study carefully, can be a result of both tightening credit standards and voluntary changes in saving behavior." Saving cash is also on the rise, the report said.

Patience urged amid dramatic US changes ~ link ~ My idea of dramatic but needed changes involves a 'old fashion neck-tie party' with the crooks swinging from a rope.  Stirling

The captains of Wall St. yesterday pleaded for patience and moderation as the U.S. government implements the most sweeping reforms of the financial system since the 1930s.

Two years after a financial crisis of their own making that tipped the U.S. economy into a deep recession, the nation's top financiers met at a conference of Wall St.'s lead lobbying group where they vowed to help "shape" parts of the reforms still being hammered out.
Morgan Stanley chief executive James Gorman expressed concern at the annual meeting of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) about anti-Wall St. "rhetoric" of the past year, which he said polarized lawmakers and diminished public confidence in the markets.

Days after an election that handed Republicans control of the U.S. House of Representatives, Gorman appealed to the public, angry about Wall Street's role in the crisis, to give markets more time to recover.

An Economy Certainly: Gold to Rise as Fiat Currencies Fall ~ link ~
The total worthlessness of fiat currencies does not tell you about what is known in professional economics as The Great Wiping Out (TGWO), a scientific term first discovered, you may be surprised to know, when a new parent was caught with a baby that desperately needed changing, but was without any fresh diapers, and who decided to just “wipe out” the used-diaper in the host’s bathroom enough to get home, with the disastrous result that there was stinking baby-poop all over everything, including my pants and my shoes, and I think I got some in my mouth but I don’t want to think about it because it is so disgusting and I have been repressing even thinking about it until now, thanks for asking, damn it, and everything was ruined, and I never got promoted before I got fired, which I think was because of what happened in that poor bathroom, but my boss said no, but that I was being fired for being lazy and incompetent, but we both knew the truth.

Nowadays, The Great Wiping Out (TGWO) is a scientific term of absolute precision used by professional economists like me, after being cleverly invented by me in the previous paragraph, to describe the horrific enormity of the total amount of wealth lost by an economy as a result of another fiat currency literally biting the dust due to its over-creation, and making a big, big stinking mess that has serious, catastrophic long-term ramifications.

The beauty of TGWO is that it is easy to calculate, as it is the sum total of everything, as in “Every Freaking Thing (EFT)” leading to the phenomenon known as Total Freaking Loss (TFL).

China and Russia vow to advance military ties ~ link ~
China and Russia on Tuesday vowed to further advance military ties amid Russian Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov visit to Beijing.

Serdyukov, on his one-day China tour, met separately with Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission Guo Boxiong and Defense Minister Liang Guanglie.

In the meeting with Serdyukov, Xi, also Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, hoped the two militaries would increase their efforts to facilitate the China-Russia strategic partnership of coordination.

China attaches great importance to its relationship with Russia and will work with Russia to materialize the consensus reached by the two heads of state, said Xi.

Israel's Pillars of Samson: Not quite Armageddon but ... ~ link ~ Alan Sabrosky considers the relationship between the subservience of successive US presidents, including Barack Obama, to Israel and Israel’s ongoing access to US nuclear codes and systems, and its ability to override safeguards in the US to obtain command and control over at least US land-based strategic nuclear systems.

As the US edges toward an unprovoked and utterly needless war with Iran, some remarks by an eminent and experienced observer of that part of the world caught my attention. First, he noted that  “Israel and the US realize that the next war will burn much of the Middle East and may well spell the end of Israel.”

Now, Israel certainly believes that about the Middle East, and in fact hopes it happens, because that just makes its position stronger. But neither Israel nor the US – at least at a government level – accept the second part of the proposition, just the opposite, that in fact it will be the saving of Israel – because (as I’ve noted elsewhere) if the regional chaos is great enough, Israel will take the opportunity to ethnically cleanse all Palestinians (and probably Israeli Arabs as well) from “Greater Israel” by shoving them over its borders, into Jordan and the Sinai (and some into the Lebanon as well). That will leave it intact and Jewish, its neighbours overwhelmed by a few million destitute Palestinians – a second and even worse Nakba – and everyone else in ruins or teetering on the edge. Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Defence Minister Ehud Barak, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and their merry thugs won’t shed a tear or lose a second’s sleep over any of it, much less over the many Americans who will die in yet another of America’s Jewish wars.

Second, he remarked that “Every week Israel becomes weaker vis-a-vis the 'resistance axis' and at what point does Israel decide to bring down the house and start again if it can survive with enough military power (backed by the US) to remake the region.”

Besides, putting lots of discrete pieces together, including published information on Israeli penetration of the telecommunications, security and cybernetic systems in the US since the 1970s and 1980s, the movement of Israelis (with or without dual nationality) or American Jews serving Israel across the US and Israeli governments and lobbies like AIPAC, and the presence of Israelis (again with or without dual nationality) and American Jews serving Israel throughout the US national security apparatus for decades (remember the far-from-unique stories of Lani Kass or David Wurmser, much less the likes of “Scooter” Libby or Rahm Emanuel?), one thing seems painfully clear to me. This is that Israel has had ongoing access for decades to US nuclear codes and systems, and may well be able to override safeguards here to obtain command and control (and therefore targeting and launch capabilities) over at least US land-based strategic nuclear systems.

Think about it. With those technical means, oversight of security and especially in-place human assets, Israel would have had to make a deliberate decision NOT to acquire that access and obtain those capabilities in order not to have them now, and that flies in the face of everything else Israel has done in its national security and espionage fields. That may be the club Israel holds over US presidents, and it would certainly explain a host of otherwise inexplicable actions by them. Understanding the actual dynamics of this phenomenon and how to counter them must have the highest priority.

Israel devouring East Jerusalem ~ link ~ As long as this type of crap is happening there will not be peace in the Middle East.  Stirling

Flying in the face of the international community, including its own guardian-ally, the United Sates, Israel has approved a wide-ranging plan to obliterate the remaining vestiges of the traditional Arab-Islamic identity of East Jerusalem.

Sponsored by the ultra-fascist group known as National Union, the plan would see the demolition of hundreds of Arab homes, establishing extensive infrastructure for Jewish settlers, mainly at the expense of the native Palestinian inhabitants, and building huge bridges for the purpose of achieving "demographic Jewish contiguity."

According to Israeli sources, the plan includes the demolition of parts of the historical wall around the Old Town and the building of a new gate bearing a "Jewish style." The great wall of Jerusalem was built by the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent in 1542, which was meant to protect the city against hostile armies.

In addition to launching a war of demolition on the ground, Israel is also planning to carry out additional extensive excavations beneath the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which Muslim Waqf officials contend would make the collapse of Islamic holy places in the area "nearly certainly inevitable."

Cracks have already been observed at the two main Muslim shrines at the Haram al-Sharif esplanade: the Aqsa and Dome of the Rock mosques. The Haram al-Sharif of Jerusalem, which means the "Noble Sanctuary," is considered the third holiest Islamic shrine after the Sacred Mosque of Mecca and The Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, both in Saudi Arabia.

The latest Israeli provocation, which coincides with a markedly accelerated pace of Jewish settlement expansion activities, is aimed at killing any prospective opportunity for the creation of a viable Palestinian State with East Jerusalem as its capital. It also illustrates and accentuates the nearly total disregard with which the current Israeli government views international concerns about unrelenting Israeli efforts to corrode efforts by the Obama Administration and the European Union to maintain a certain hope, however precarious, for a peace settlement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA).

Iran ready to hold nuclear talks in Turkey ~ link Iran said on Sunday it was ready to hold talks in Turkey with the six world powers on its controversial nuclear programme following a one-year break, turning to a neighbour seen as an ally.

A response would follow after consultations with the major powers, her office said in Brussels.

Ashton proposed last month to hold the talks in Vienna -- headquarters of the UN nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency -- starting from November 15.

Protesters chant ‘loyalty oath delegitimizes Israel’ during Prime Minister’s speech at Jewish Federations General Assembly.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the Jewish Federations General Assembly on Monday was marked by repeated heckling from members of the audience, who were then unceremoniously escorted from the plush ballroom.
The first heckler, who interrupted Netanyahu barely moments after he began his 30 minute speech, was ejected while shouting “the loyalty oath delegitimizes Israel”.

The prime minister, unperturbed by the interruption, responded by saying, “I was going to talk about delegitimizing Israel but they really have the wrong address.”

Subsequent interruptions of regular intervals protested Israel’s occupation, claiming that it too delegitimizes Israel.
The unprecedented scale of interruptions did not bear well with the audience, who after the first heckler’s interruptions responded with chants of “Am Yisrael Chai” [The nation of Israel lives], and “Bibi, Bibi” [Netanyahu's nickname].

Indian political leader says China may attack India anytime soon ~ link ~ Setting the stage for the India-Pakistan-Afghanistan war theater of WWIII.  Stirling

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav Tuesday warned the government he had “specific” inputs that China was preparing to attack India “anytime soon” and was “daily” occupying an inch of the country’s land.He urged the government to take the China threat seriously because “everybody knows what happened in 1962″. “China is laying claim on several of our states, including Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and also Ladakh,” the former defence minister said in the Lok Sabha.

“We have specific information, and I am sharing it with the house that China has all but prepared to attack India. They can attack us anytime soon,” Mulayam Singh said.
“China is unreliable, the most deceptive (neighbours of India). They have occupied lakhs of square kilometres of our territory. China is occupying an inch of our land daily for the last so many years and has laid tarmac roads up to the border with India in preparation to invade us,” he said.

The Uttar Pradesh MP said as defence minister he had initiated a road laying programme on the borders with China, which it now appeared was not being followed as keenly.
He said senior army officers had been warning the government about the Chinese threat.

Mulayam Singh’s statement comes days after army chief General V.K. Singh remarked that India was “not sure” about China’s intentions behind developing infrastructure along its borders with India.

Russia and China against Japan for dominance in the Pacific ~ link ~ Setting up the Russian-Chinese-Japanese-American war theater of WWIII.
Moscow and Beijing appear allied against Japan to reduce its influence in the Pacific, while Tokyo is forced to forge closer ties with the United States. In November Russian President Dmitry Medvedev visited the island of Kunashiri, north-east of Hokkaido, prompting vigorous protests from the government in Tokyo. The island together with those of Shikotan, Etorofu and the Habomai islets is a region known in Japan as the "Northern Territories". Medvedev is the first Russian president to set foot on that land. The four islands were invaded by the Soviet army between August 28 and September 2, 1945, at the end of World War II.

Shaky Diplomacy Scuttles Kan Ratings ~ link

Two major opinion polls published since Sunday showed sharp drops in popular support for Mr. Kan’s government. One reason: Disappointment over his handling of foreign relations, particularly the recent territorial dispute with China. That echoes warnings from critics more than a year ago, when Japanese voters ousted the long-ruling Liberal Democratic Party in favor of Mr. Kan’s Democratic Party of Japan. Diplomacy and defense, some analysts warned, would be rough terrain for politicians inexperienced with power.
The Yomiuri Shimbun reported Monday the support rating for the Kan cabinet fell to 35% in the latest poll conducted Nov. 5-7, a stunning slide from 53% in early October and a high of 66% in mid-September, soon after he beat party kingpin Ichiro Ozawa in an internal election and defended his job as prime minister. Meanwhile the disapproval rating for the cabinet surged to 55% from 37% in October and 25% in September.

Ambassador returns as Russia-Japan feud continues ~ link ~ Russia’s ambassador in Tokyo, Mikhail Bely, was summoned to the Japanese Foreign Ministry to receive a note of protest. Japan also recalled its ambassador to Moscow, Masaharu Kono, although he returned to the Russian capital on Nov. 8.

Despite Japan’s protest, Moscow made it clear that Russia would not soft-pedal the issue. “We consider Japan’s reaction to President Medvedev’s visit to the Kurils unacceptable; it is our land, the Russian president visited a Russian territory,” said Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. “We are not going to take any measures to impede our cooperation with Japan, but the Japanese side should draw conclusions, I will say it again, such protests are unacceptable.”

Tokyo’s unprecedented reaction to Medvedev’s visit reflects the Democratic Party of Japan’s desire to show its firmness in defending the country’s territorial interests at a time when it faces strong criticism from voters and the opposition for its handling of disputes with China.

Meanwhile, Japan’s leading business newspaper, Nihon Keizai Shimbun, pointed out that this year alone Russia and China have held five top-level meetings, but since the Democratic Party of Japan took power, not a single Japanese prime minister has visited Russia. The newspaper warns that this is not the best way to solve the country’s territorial problems.

Russian-Japanese political ties, which stagnated even under the pro-Russian (by Japanese standards) Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, have been strained further following Hatoyama’s resignation in June 2010. There are at least two reasons for the strained relationship.

When interest rates soared last week on Irish government bonds, it served as a grim warning to other indebted nations of how difficult and even politically ruinous it could be to roll back decades of public sector largess.

An Irish bond market already in free fall plunged further after Ireland announced on Thursday that it planned to nearly double its package of spending cuts and tax increases to try to rein in its huge deficit. Investors took it not as a sign of resolve but rather of Ireland’s desperation and uncertainty about the true extent of its problems.

Abstention in Greek elections shows anger at PASOK  austerity ~ link ~ Sunday’s regional elections in Greece revealed the hostility of millions of people to the austerity programme being imposed by the Pan-Hellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK) government of Prime Minister George Papandreou.

Almost 10 million people were eligible to vote in the regional elections for 13 governors and 325 mayors. With more than 95 percent of the votes counted, PASOK was ahead of the right-wing opposition New Democracy (ND) in 7 of the 13 regions. These included the important province of Attica, which includes Athens and 40 percent of the Greek population. But under Greek election law, if no one party achieves over 50 percent in a region being contested, the voting proceeds to a second round. In only one seat did a candidate achieve over 50 percent, so a second round of voting will take place next Sunday with PASOK predicted to win 8 of the 13 regions.

German people in unprecedented rebellion against government ~ link ~ The police union head Reiner Wendt gave vent to the general frustration when he issued a press statement via the DPA news agency last night saying the police had reached exhaustion point and needed a break. Behind the scenes, a battle seemed to be raging between the police chiefs, tucked up in their warm headquarters urging more action, and the exhausted officers on the ground.
The police on the ground won out. The Castor train – called a “Chernobyl on wheels” because it has been carrying 133 tonnes of highly radioactive waste to an unsafe depot – was stopped in the middle of the countryside and Nato barbed wire was placed around it. Lit by floodlights and guarded by a handful of police, the most dangerous train on the planet was forced to a halt after a 63 hour journey across France and Germany.

The defeat of the legions at Teutoburg marked the end of the attempt by the Roman empire to conquer Germania magna. And the failure of the biggest ever police operation two thousand years later in the woods of Lower Saxony to tame women, elderly people and school children protesting the government’s nuclear policy, could well also go down as a turning point.

The Berlin government can no longer rely on the discredited mainstream media to control the way people see issues. Too many people recognise it to be a tool of propaganda. The government now needs to resort to brute force to bludgeon through decisions that enrich corporations and banks and impoverish everyone else. But the police forces  at its disposal are simply not sufficient given the scale of the protests now gripping Germany. Only 1,500 police reinforcements could be mustered on Morning from the entire territory to deal with road blockades by thousands of protestors aiming to delay the transport of the nuclear waste on the final leg of its journey.
The police officers were exhausted after shifts of 24 hours or more, often without any food or just a cappucino and snack bar, and they had nothing to look forward to but more of the same drudgery after a night spent four to a room in a Youth Hostel.
A leading figure in a German police police union Bernard Witthaut today even lashed out at the government for trying to drive through unpopular policies using the police.
“Whether in Stuttgart or in Wendland today my colleagues are simply not getting out of their anti riot gear because of the wrong decisions by the government,” he said.

Many police officers also expressed sympathy with the protestors’ aims.

The question now is: how long can the use of police to bludgeon protestors continue when the protests are reaching this scale? How long can Germany be governed by a semi authoritarian regime using brute force when the force at its disposal is so small? The German army cannot be deployed on this kind of mission without sparking even more outrage. A false flag terrorist operation will hardly wash when the people are so fed up with the government lies and the media lies. EU soldiers will find it hard to deal with the Germans. The German and EU secret police cannot infiltrate all of the protestor’s organizations when there are simply so many.

The German people as a whole are on the march.

“Citizens in rebellion,” shouted a TAZ headline.

“Civil war in Wendtand,” fumed Bild.

NGO chief Kersin Rudek spoke for many when she said:
“We have lost faith in the government until they prove that their politics is for the people and not for the corporations.”
She talked about the “anger” among people at the “arrogance of the political class.”

As in the Stuttgart 21 railway protests, it was people from all walks of life,  a genuine grass roots movement, that arrived in Wendland to protest the decision by the CDU/CSU/FDP government to ignore a legally binding deadline to phase out nuclear power. Against the wishes of the majority, Bilderberg Chancellor Angela Merkel announced this autumn that 17 reactors would continue for another 12 years at gigantic cost to the tax payer in subsidies.

The tax payers of Lower Saxony even have to foot the bill of  50 million euro for the police operation to protect the nuclear waste – and not the electricity companies making a fortune from the extravagant energy source [which is associated with France's WMD program] while the government keeps investments in ground-breaking new renewable energy technologies such as the third generation solar cells at a negligible amount.

As in Stutggart, the police used savage force against peaceful demonstrators reinforcing the impression of a government out of control and refusing to respect the basic democratic right of people to hold protests without being beaten to a pulp. Videos of the Castor transport on Sunday show police beating people with their truncheons, punching them and throwing them to the ground. Police also used tear gas, pepper spray and water canon.

South Ossetians ask for international help to find missing relatives ~ link Families of South Ossetian residents who went missing during the 2008 Georgia-South Ossetia conflict have urged the UN, EU and OSCE to help find their relatives. They also asked the international bodies to objectively assess Georgia’s conduct during the 2008 war in the Caucasus.

They name Mairbeg Tedeev, Dmitry Gagloev, Radik Ikaev and Tamaz Kabisov. Their relatives claim that "the Georgian side has categorically denied having detained them."

Flooding raises new Cholera fears in Haiti ~ link
Three medical workers arrived at a clinic near here over the weekend on a mission to deliver supplies and spread the word about preventing a deadly cholera outbreak from getting worse after the torrential rains brought by Hurricane Tomas. What they found was a locked gate, a 3-year-old boy with unrelenting diarrhea being cradled in his father’s arms and a gathering crowd of others waiting to get in.

Several of them said, yes, they drank water from a river known to be contaminated with the cholera-causing bacteria. And, no, they don’t always have money to buy bottled water.
“We know there may be cholera in there, but sometimes it is all we have to drink,” said Alienne Cilencrieux, 24. “If we have Clorox, we pour some in and drink it. It tastes bad. Or we dig in the ground until we find water and drink that.”

The Bought and Paid For Central Bnaksters-Owned LameStreamMedia and their "Propaganda Matrix" ~ link ~ Music to my ears.  Stirling

This article illustrates how the organized crime oligarchy that controls the country and much of the world has been using their almost complete control of virtual everything the average person sees on a given day to weave an artificially-created reality with regard to politics/economics/history when they are not distracting the population with sports & mindless entertainment, corrupting their morals, predicatively programing them, or practicing other propaganda crimes.

The first part of the article below offers a number of media ownership charts that detail how a small handful of six corporations own and control, essentially, every major television station, cable network, radio station, magazine publisher, magazine distributor, book publisher, chain book store, theme park, record company, major internet property, movie studio and theater chain.

The second part of the article details how the organized crime oligarchy is able to influence control of the content through a handful of organizations that give key journalists in the MainStreamMedia food chain their marching orders and control editorial approval and content.

A mother has spoken of her fears for her son who went missing while searching for Noah's Ark in Turkey. Donald Mackenzie, 47, from Lewis, was reported missing by a friend on 14 October after he failed to return from an expedition on Mount Ararat.

Mr Mackenzie travels to the mountain every year to pursue his passion of searching for the ark.
The Bible identifies the mountains of Ararat as the ark's resting place after the flood.
The traveller was keen to return this year after a Chinese group claimed to have found the remains of the vessel.
