Global Changes from the Dying Gulf Stream and already dead North Atlantic Current

LIFE ON THIS EARTH JUST CHANGED - Death of the North Atlantic Current ~ link ~ The coverage that this article that Dr. Deagle and myself wrote, has been great on the Internet. However, the corporate owned Mainstream News Media have embargoed the story. Coldest winter in 1,000 Years on its way ~ linkThis is the story that Dr. Bill Deagle and I broke almost two months ago.  Sorry to say, we were and are correct.  The weather patterns are confirming this.  Prayer is in order.  Stirling

Forecasters say this winter could be the coldest Europe has seen in the last 1,000 years.

The change is reportedly connected with the speed of the Gulf Stream, which has shrunk in half in just the last couple of years. Polish scientists say that it means the stream will not be able to compensate for the cold from the Arctic winds. According to them, when the stream is completely stopped, a new Ice Age will begin in Europe.

Report that Russia needs corn helps drive market up 6 cents ~ link ~ People, you need to lay in a years supply of food and water and supplies NOW, while you still can.  Stirling

Corn prices began to bounce back from their steep drop last week, while the Agriculture Department reported yield losses in corn and soybeans due to nitrogen deficiencies and sudden-death syndrome.

The market was boosted Monday by reports that Russia will be shopping for corn because crops in that country were damaged by drought, traders said.

Russian Wheat Production May Drop 33% USDA Unit Says ~ link ~ Russia’s wheat production may plunge by 33 percent this year after the most-severe drought in 50 years harmed crops, a U.S. Department of Agriculture unit said.

Output will fall to 41.5 million metric tons in the year that began July 1 from 61.7 million tons last year, the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service said in a report posted today on its website. The attache’s estimate was below the official U.S. projection announced last month. Russian exports will plunge 78 percent to 4.1 million tons, the service said.

Pakistan deploys anti-aircraft missiles on Afghan border ~ linkISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strengthened its air defense with a view to preventing NATO forces from intruding into its territory from Afghanistan.
The strong US ally has installed anti-aircraft missiles in its tribal regions bordering Afghanistan, well-placed sources told Arab News here on Monday.

“Now no helicopter will be able to escape after entering into Pakistani territory,” the official sources said.

Can the Obama Administration avoid a split with Pakistan? ~ link ~ The battle lines for the coming global war are being formed and you can see this almost daily now.  Stirling

RELATIONS BETWEEN the United States and Pakistan, never stable, are once again close to crisis. The immediate cause is the closing by Pakistan of a transport route to Afghanistan for non-lethal U.S. and NATO supplies -- an action taken in response to a border incident last week in which NATO aircraft exchanged fire with Pakistani soldiers, reportedly killing three. The shutdown of the supply route has caused a backup of thousands of trucks carrying fuel and other supplies, which in turn has enabled a series of attacks by Pakistan-based Taliban forces. The latest, on Monday morning, destroyed 20 trucks and killed three people outside of Islamabad.

Four injured in Kashmir - Curfew imposed ~ link ~ Four persons were injured when security forces opened fire on protesters in Shopian district of South Kashmir on Sunday even as authorities imposed curfew in Srinagar and other districts in North Kashmir in the wake of a protest call by separatists.

“The villagers were asked to assemble for an identification parade. Army troops then picked up boys and started beating them. The enraged villagers started to raise slogans and throw stones at the troops,” said an eyewitness who did not wish to be named.

Tokyo and Moscow lock horns in disputed islands standoff ~ link ~ Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's planned visit to four disputed Pacific islands has rekindled an age-old burning debate between Japan and Russia that has failed to be amicably resolved despite numerous declarations and treaties since the end of World War II.

Medvedev has said recently that the four disputed islands, known as the Southern Kurils in Russia and the Northern Territories in Japan, are "an important region of our country" and he would "visit them in the near future without fail."

*Icelanders Hurl Eggs at Parliament in Mass Protests ~ link ~This type of desperate feed-up measures by the public will continue to spread and will even hit America in the weeks/months to come.  Stirling

Iceland’s police sealed off the country’s parliament with a five-foot steel fence to protect lawmakers as protestors gathered in their thousands, beating makeshift drums and hurling red paint at the legislature.

As many as 8,000 people protested outside the Reykjavik- based Althingi last night, according to a police estimate, as Prime Minister Johanna Sigurdardottir presented her key policy objectives to lawmakers. Protestors lit a bonfire and threw firecrackers at police while others threw eggs, tomatoes and paint at the parliament as they tried to break through the steel fence protecting the building.

*Economic Outlook Won't 'Rescue' Portugal ~ link ~ An improved economic outlook won’t come to Portugal’s “rescue” because the country will struggle with its debt burden as it aims to narrow the budget deficit, Anthony Thomas, a London-based senior analyst at Moody’s, said today in Warsaw.

“Even if the deficit were to be brought below 3 percent as planned by 2012, it will change from a country that had a middling level of debt coming into the crisis to a country with a high debt,” Thomas said in a presentation at a credit conference.

French Senate set for fierce debate on pension reform
A day after French unions say they brought millions onto the streets against government plans to reform pensions, focus turns to the Senate, which on Tuesday begins its examination of the bill. Unions have staged three days of protest in less than a month, and have vowed to continue demonstrations and strikes, but the government was unbowed on the law's fundamentals after the latest rallies.

David Cameron will come to regret his rash comments about a Scottish referendum ~ link ~ Actually there is a way the Scottish government could call a referendum, or for that matter declare itself independent of England.  The old pre-Union Scots Parliament was fully Sovereign and it only went into recess some 200+ years ago at the Treaty of Union, this is a recognized fact of law.  The existing regional Scottish Parliament could invite the Scottish Peers and the Scottish feudal Barons to sit with it to re-constitute the Three Estates of the ancient and fully Sovereign Scots Parliament and thereafter pass a referendum bill or whatever.  Now, I do not propose this, but if we are talking about what powers Scotland has and has not got, we need to include this in the discussion.  Stirling
The Scottish Parliament: no power to call a referendum
The Scottish Parliament
David Cameron has told Scots at the Tory conference that he is ready to fight for the union if the SNP ever had the courage to call a referendum. He will come to regret those words: they are a hostage to fortune. We have been here before. During her brief time as Labour’s leader in the Scottish Parliament, Wendy Alexander called on Alex Salmond to “bring it [the referendum] on”. No referendum came, and Wendy eventually went.

Now, the Prime Minister is in a different position from an Opposition Leader in the Scottish Parliament: he can actually make things happen. This, though, is the rub. Either he misspoke or he has been misadvised. The SNP Scottish Government can’t call a referendum – it’s against the law. The Scottish Parliament does not have untrammelled powers. It can only legislate on issues that are within its powers. Matters reserved to Westminster include defence, foreign affairs, social security and the constitution. Whatever else a referendum on independence is, it is about the constitution. Therefore the Scottish parliament cannot pass a Referendum Bill. Everyone in the legal community in Scotland knows this. The Government’s current and past Law Officers know this. Senior civil servants know this. It’s just that no politician has had the guts to say it out loud.

Super-rich buying gold by the ton ~ link UBS is recommending top-tier clients hold 7-10 percent of their assets in precious metals like gold, which is on course for its tenth consecutive yearly gain and traded at around $1,314.50 an ounce on Monday, near the record level reached last week.
"We had a clear example of a couple buying over a ton of gold ... and carrying it to another place," Stadler said. At today's prices, that shipment would be worth about $42 million.

'Currency War' with China would be 'destructive' warns Euro chief Juncker - video ~ link

Euro chiefs pressure China over Yuan ~ link ~ Eurozone leaders piled pressure on China on Tuesday to let its currency rise in value in talks with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao amid Western charges that Beijing deliberately undervalues the yuan.

Wen met on the sidelines of an Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) with the head of eurozone finance ministers, Jean-Claude Juncker, European Central Bank head Jean-Claude Trichet and European Union economic affairs chief Olli Rehn. "China's real effective exchange rate remains undervalued," Juncker told a news conference after the talks.

Killing Each Taliban Soldier Costs $50 Million ~ link ~ The Pentagon will not tell the public what it costs to locate, target and kill a single Taliban soldier because the price-tag is so scandalously high that it makes the Taliban appear to be Super-Soldiers. As set out in this article, the estimated cost to kill each Taliban is as high as $100 million, with a conservative estimate being $50 million. A public discussion should be taking place in the United States regarding whether the Taliban have become too expensive an enemy to defeat.

5 Key Principles that Unite Populists Progressives and Tea-Party Libertarians ~ link
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_qLAIskTQXUc/TKs4SMtLEsI/AAAAAAAADp4/MyG4kD_2sdk/s1600/republicrats.jpg
The establishment must do everything it can to suppress unity among the growing herd of angry citizens. However, victory for the people is within our grasp.  In a dangerous scenario for the establishment, populists from the left and the right are increasingly finding common ground.  A recent Mother Jones article titled "Tea Party or Pot Party?" revealed to progressives that they can actually agree with Tea Party libertarians on issues such as legalizing marijuana.  With an honest look at each other's principles we may find that what unites Populists is far more powerful than what divides us.

First, we must be cognizant that the establishment seeks to divide us by using such vile tactics as labeling progressives as "evil communists" and the Tea Party libertarians as "racists."  Naturally, old-school civil rights liberals hate racists, and free-market conservative purists hate communists. Can we not see that the establishment knows precisely what buttons to push to keep us from uniting?  These false labels are irrelevant in our current struggle with a tyrannical Corporate State.

It is clear that we the people are all suffering in similar ways under the current system. We grasp for someone to blame for this manufactured suffering, and the establishment is all too eager to provide a culprit to misdirect our anger.  Progressives have been conditioned to blame big evil corporations, while conservatives have been conditioned to blame big evil government. But now, both are finally realizing that corporate cartels and the government have merged into a most evil monster that cares not for them, or the health of America for that matter.  Even Michael Moore is waking up to the fact that Obama is a mere puppet of the corporate masters.

The people have been fooled and divided for long enough.  Now, we must go beyond phony labels that the establishment has carefully crafted for us, and join our fellow populists to unite around our common human principles.

Here are five co-dependent principles that unite populist progressives and tea party libertarians:

S 510, Cap & trade, Codex and Federal Jurisdiction ~ linkGood article, take the time to read it if you can.

Dissent in the Age of Obama ~ linkThe Supreme Court just decided (Wilner v. National Security Agency) that the National Security Agency (NSA) did not have to disclose if it was using warrantless wiretapping to spy on attorneys representing the extra-legal detention of prisoners in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Obtaining warrants, with cause, and attorney-client privilege were important principles of the US justice system, but even the neo-fascist Supreme Court is undermining the law - talk about “activist” judges!

Not only have activists been targeted here in the States, but Obama has ominously declared himself judge, jury and executioner of anyone that he deems a national security “threat". These are the actions of a tyrant and another assault against our rights and against the rule of law from a person who promised “complete transparency” from his administration.

14 Injured in grenade attack on crowd in Guadalupe, Mexico ~ link ~ Families were out for the night air, taking a stroll in the central plaza in the northern Mexican city of Guadalupe when presumed drug traffickers hurled grenades into the crowd. At least 14 people, more than half of them children, were injured, authorities said Sunday.

The assailants in the attack Saturday rode in two SUVs and quickly escaped the plaza. Several witnesses told Milenio television that local police blocked traffic after the explosion to clear the way for the attackers.

Mexican police have identified 22 people who were kidnapped by gunmen in the Pacific resort town of Acapulco and have found four cars they were riding in, state media reported.

Mexico roiled by grenades and kidnappings in bloody weekend ~ link ~ Northern Mexico was shaken by a weekend of violence, with 34 deaths blamed on drug cartels and a series of grenade attacks that injured a dozen people, officials said Sunday.
Twelve people were hurt in a late night grenade attack at a busy plaza outside Monterrey, according to officials who said it was one of four bombings to rock the industrial border city over the weekend.

Dear Lord Stirling,

These are the minimum calories intakes per person per day:

Minimum Daily Calorie intake
It is difficult to set absolute bottom calorie levels, because everyone has different body composition and activity levels. Health authorities do set some baselines - these are 1200 calories per day for women, and 1800 calories per day for men. This doesn't really make too much sense - are you are sedentary person with little muscle mass? Or someone who is tall, muscular, and exercises a lot? Absolute levels don't work - but do give us a starting point.

There is also an existing plant more corn starch and plastics based on paper, including household goods and food packaging, bioplastics toys, plastic dynamic Cereplast.
