Time To Strike - video ~ link

I now have over 800 posts to this news blog. I wish to thank all my viewers for stopping by so often. This blog is kind of a ministry for me. Telling it like it is and battling the forces that seek to destroy the human race. With that in mind, here is a link to a powerful prayer to St. Michael the Archangel - video ~ link

Notice: This news blog was subject to a hijacking attack for several hours on 23rd March 2010. I think that we now have the problem fixed. Gordon Brown to give up Prime Minister's right to set election date in bid to secure LibDem support in event of a hung Parliament ~ link ~ This story is now in the running for the "Bullshit of the Week" Award. This "giving up" the right to call an election is really all about hanging on for a full term in the event of a hung Parliament and old Gordon somehow manages to keep his No. 10 Downing Street address. Hung Parliaments in the UK tend not to last very long, however, if you have a 'fixed' term and the PM 'cannot' be forced to call an election, well then the PM and his fellow crooks cannot be turned out of office before the maximum term of the Parliament is over. This is all a New Labour scam and typical lie.

Brown dismisses Tory call for inquiry into cash for influence scandal ~ link ~ What a shock - NOT.

Four senior Labour bigwigs suspended from Labour Party in latest UK scandal ~ link ~
Caught by concealed cameras as they offered to trade influence for cash, three former government ministers have been suspended from Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s Labour Party, setting off a new political furor Tuesday as Britain nudges toward elections.

The Labour Party announced the suspensions late on Monday, hours after a documentary on Channel 4 television showed the former ministers, Stephen Byers, Geoff Hoon and Patricia Hewitt, talking to an undercover reporter they believed to be a representative of an American lobbying company. A Labour legislator, Margaret Moran, was also suspended.

Time to shed some light on the murky world of UK lobbying - with video ~ link ~ The boastful Mr Byers last graced the Cabinet table eight years ago; yet the image of him touting for cash is a disagreeable one that exposes another seamy aspect of life at Westminster. It is not only their expenses that MPs are adept at exploiting; they are also rather good at trading for hard cash the information and contacts they have made while in office. More disturbing than the Byers case is the eagerness with which Patricia Hewitt and Geoff Hoon, both of whom were members of the Cabinet just nine months ago, were happy to sell their services. In defending Gordon Brown's refusal to hold an inquiry into these disclosures, Harriet Harman, the Leader of the Commons, yesterday insisted existing regulations are adequate. She is wrong.

Obama to hold talks with Netanyahu at White House ~ link ~ More 'Smoke and Mirrors' about the 'row over the settlements'; the real discussion will most likely be about the coming attack on Iran.

Ever growing fascism in America.

At least 11 States to launch legal battle against Obama's health care bill ~ link ~ The Republican-controlled states say they will not accept the introduction of mandatory basic health insurance. They argue that it goes against the US constitution because it threatens the sovereignty of all 50 states.

US Federal Judge in classified ruling orders the release of a Guantanamo detainee ~ link ~ The illegal detention of people in Guantanamo and the use of torture is totally shameful and a very black mark on America.

New York Democrats want to legalize "medical" marijuana to help plug the state budget gap ~ link ~ I expect to see more and more of this in the coming months as states get very desperate for tax revenue.

Ukraine and a Tectonic Shift in Heartland Power ~ link
Who rules East Europe commands the Heartland:Who rules the Heartland commands the World-Island:Who rules the World-Island commands the World.
For Mackinder, the Heartland integrally included Ukraine and Russia. By chopping off Ukraine from Russia in a de facto US-led coup called the Orange Revolution, Washington came a giant step nearer to a complete domination not only of Russia and the Heartland, but also of all Eurasia, including what would then become an encircled China. No wonder that the Bush-Cheney administration invested so much energy to install their man, Yushchenko, as President and de facto dictator. His task was to bring Ukraine into NATO. What he did for his countrymen was clearly of no concern to the Bush planners.

Yushchenko almost succeeded but for the ill-conceived adventure of Georgia's hand-picked Rose Revolution President, Mikhail Saakashvili in August 2008, sending troops to reclaim the seccessionist region of South Ossetia and Abkhazia for Georgia just weeks before NATO ministers would vote on Ukrainian and Georgian NATO membership. The swift Russian military response in stopping the Georgian attack and routing Saakashvili's rag-tag forces also stopped dead any chance that Germany or other NATO countries would OK NATO membership, and with it the pledge to come to the defense of either Georgia or Ukraine in a war against Russia.
